ABOUT OUR HOME
Update - The neighborhood of Glacier Springs is currently having it's water system repaired. Due to this, there is a boil water notice in effect. Showering and laundry are not affected and bottled water and water filtration is provided.

Amazing woodwork and natural light abounds in this stunning 1400 square foot 3 bedroom/2 bath vacation home in the Glacier Springs community in Glacier, Washington. Just a quick hour trip from Vancouver, BC and 2 hours from Seattle, the slopes of beautiful Mt. Baker are a mere 25 minutes from the cabin. Come stay in the comfy primary bedroom on the upstairs level, and enjoy the incredibly luxurious connected primary bath complete with a two-person soaker tub and beautifully tiled shower. All bathrooms have tiled floors with radiant heat, a friend to your feet in the winter months! This home also features 2 additional bedrooms downstairs with access to the spacious downstairs bathroom. We strive to keep allergies to a minimum, no pets allowed.

A large deck wraps around 3/4 of the house allowing plenty of room for relaxing outdoors, barbecuing and opens to a large fire pit and seating area. Use the mudroom for storing your ski and snowboard gear. The entryway has a convenient area for your wet clothes, too!

The main floor living area has an open floor plan in the front of the house to take full advantage of the towering wall of windows on the front of the house. There is no shortage of beautiful natural light here and you'll enjoy looking at the surrounding foothills whether covered in snow, lush greenery or beautiful fall colors. Cozy up in the kitchen with a glass of wine and enjoy the warmth of this living space with your friends and family... Welcome home!

The house also features a full house backup generator in case of power outage so your stay will not be interrupted.

Great home in a lovely location

Our family of four had a wonderful time relaxing in this beautiful home. It was clean and had everything we needed. The gas "wood" stove made the main living area especially cozy. Communication with the host was excellent, and the home and property was exactly as listed. We really liked the easy walk to a short trail and creek in the quiet neighborhood - it made it easy to feel like you were in the woods without having to drive anywhere. Thank you!

Phenomenal Stay!

Was fairly impressed with just the impression the property gave from the listing page. My friends and I were in awe when we unlocked the door and stepped inside. Wonderful property that was the basis for a fantastic few days stay in the beautiful North Cascades. So well-maintained, picturesque, and perfect for a comfy getaway. I highly recommend!

Great place to stay near Glacier

Home in the woods

Excellent location- minutes away by car from great hiking , and a short walk to the Canyon Creek Nature reserve! Although the home is close to the highway, daytime traffic is moderate and night traffic is almost nonexistent. And an A+ for comfort and utility. We can't wait to go back.

Comfortable house close to hiking

This house was just as described. Well stocked kitchen, nice towels and comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, great wraparound porch. Nice neighborhood, would be good for skiing. Had a boot drier that we used for our boots, wet from accidental river dunk. Loved that there was a great little hike with a stream right there in a wildlife preserve in the neighborhood. Hiking at Artists Point at Mt. Baker was fabulous!! Seemed to be plenty of places to eat nearby - the owners made recommendations. We only checked out one, but it was good. The only thing I would note, which wasn’t a big deal for us, is that if you are a big family movie or TV watching group, you will have to do it in the upstairs sitting area and that could be a little tight (but fits 4 on the couch).

Glorious Baker!

Fantastic place, close to Mt. Baker’s magical trails, so many wonderful hikes and water. Lovely walks near property itself. Can hear the roar of the Nooksack river dwarf the odd car. Well equipped kitchen. Made memories.

Perfect beautiful cabin

We had such a great time here. We were probably on the gorgeous deck more than we were in the cabin. But, we did think think the couch was great! There was so much to do in the area, we were less than 20 minutes from several hiking areas, so we got to explore A LOT! Thanks for sharing your home.

Great spot to explore Mt. Baker

What a fun place to stay! Our family of four with a teen/tween combo had a great visit at this cabin. We each had enough room to have some space and enjoy meals and games at the dining room table. Ashley was a great communicator from start to finish and made the stay welcoming and easy. It was about 35 minutes up to skiing at Mt. Baker and we had great takeout pizza from Chair 9. A great getaway and exactly what we needed.

Perfect for our family

We had a great stay and loved everything about the house. Really cozy and had all the amenities for a ski cabin. A reviewer mentioned noise from the road - easy fix. I slept in the room that wasn't facing the road. We'll be back for sure!

Loud traffic noise

This house is right next to the main highway and traffic noise is inescapable. There is another road on the other side and often there is traffic noise coming from both sides. The development is fine, though lots are small and other houses are easily seen.

Fantastic place!

This beautiful property exceeded my expectations. It was much more than I needed space-wise since it was just me, but I was booking on short notice and this property stood out among the available ones. I am sure glad I splurged for the larger place! It was super clean and very well stocked, I had everything I needed and more. Things like light switches were thoughtfully labeled, it seems they anticipated where renters would have questions. Would be an awesome place to host a group, with 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs and the master bed/bath upstairs. There was also a lounge/play area upstairs. Highest of recommendations for this house!

Enjoyed our stay!

This was a great place for a family vacation to ski Mount Baker. The cabin was furnished well, beds were comfortable, and the common space with the high ceilings were wonderful for a cozy getaway in the mountains! The ski-boot dryers and heated bathroom floors were very much appreciated by our group.

Beautiful House in the woods

Spotless, comfortable, and convenient. Great kitchen. Everything well-maintained. Short walk to Canyon Creek, and close to road for easy access to Glacier and beyond, including Artist Point with the most scenic mountain views in the country.

Sweet cabin in the woods

Loved our stay here! Easy access from Bellingham and to Mt Baker. So much to do in this area. The house was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a group of six. Open space was very inviting and inclusive. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Deck surrounding the house would be a great hang out on warmer days.

Great and spacious cabin

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. Open living area had a lot of light and nice view, fireplace was a good perk. Mt Baker Ski resort was an easy drive from the cabin. A bottle of wine from the owners was a nice touch as well. The only minor issue we had was rebooting the router relatively often, otherwise everything was in perfect order. I'd stay in this cabin again.

Great location, lovely home, communicative owner

This is a very attractive, comfortable place to stay. We had a few questions about things during our stay, such as how to get the BBQ grill to work, and the owner Ashely responded right away. We had five adults staying, and the place handled all of us easily.

Wonderful family getaway

We had a lovely stay, we really appreciated the nice little touches like a bottle of wine, and night lights in the bathrooms and bedrooms, and we were just generally were really happy with how well-appointed and well-cared-for the house is. The owners have really thought of everything! An earlier review had stated that they didn't have a few things like salt & pepper, but we found those items were stocked along with olive oil. Also with two young kids we found it super helpful that the owners have supplied a portable crib, little high chair seat, a few books and games, and some kids' dishes.

Its an amazing area with great restaurants, hiking, and skiing/snowboarding nearby and the lush surroundings make it truly unique. We purchased this home from the original owners who built it themselves in 2009. We're excited to share our lovely home away from home so others can enjoy this beautiful house in such incredible surroundings. This area is phenomenal in the summer, too, with endless trails for mountain biking and hiking, the Nooksack river within earshot and a small creek within walking distance through the Glacier Springs community. Keep an eye out for fossils along the trails near the creek! But it's really hard to resist the winter thrill of charging the slopes of Mt. Baker!
