Secluded Lake Front House with Pool -

This beautiful lake front home features an inground swimming pool, sprawling backyard, a picturesque lakeview, wildlife, plentiful seating for lounging and dining, a firepit, swingset and other games! While the outside is paradise, the inside is extremely spacious and features 2 full kitchens, a walk-out basement and lots of living and dining space while sleeping 18.

The inground salt water pool is 16x32 has a lounge area of 1 feet and then 2 feet deep with a majority of the pool being ~4-5 feet deep great for relaxing, cooling down or playing your favorite pool game. Pool opens Mid-May and will close October 1, unless weather permits a longer season. Ask host prior to booking!

For nature enthusiasts, our place is just a half of a mile from a wildlife preserve so you will see many birds and wildlife throughout your stay. We often see bluebirds, cardinals, geese, hawks, blue herons and occasional deer and majestic bald eagles!

The backyard includes a tremendous amount of patio space and seating for all guest. The large upper balcony offers exceptional views, seats six to dine just off the kitchen, and a relaxing area with gliders to enjoy your morning coffee and maybe a deer or bald eagle sighting! The lower level seats eight to eat, has a bar and bar stools, pool loungers, and beach chairs to enjoy the pool.

If you or the kids need a break from the pool, you can enjoy the swingset, giant Connect Four, and Cornhole. Don't forget to bring your favorite yard games to enjoy in the large backyard! Get out to the water to fish or check out the views on one of the kayaks. Wind down after a fun day with a relaxing campfire and make some smores!

There are marinas close by for boat rentals. If you’d like to bring your own boat, there are public boat slips within ¼ mile to drop your boat in the water. We have boat ties on our sea wall but the lake water levels can vary depending on the season, so there is not always boat access directly to the house. Boat docks can be rented at Kozy Kampground for $10/day with access to the lake. Kozy Kampground is 0.8 miles from the house.

There is plenty to do not only at the house but in the surrounding area. The house is close to the Montezuma bike path, numerous restaurants, and a great park. Celina is a short drive away where you can enjoy coffee shops, restaurants, boutique shopping, parks, & the splash pad. Other places within a short distance to explore include local breweries, wineries, golf courses, and more!

Come on inside! The main floor kitchen (yes there are 2 kitchens!) is great to cook in for a large group. It boasts a large refrigerator/freezer, double ovens, induction stove top, dishwasher, and microwave. Plenty of extra cabinets and a large pantry style cabinet to house all the dry goods you bring.

Right around the corner of the kitchen and by the patio is the coffee nook. The dual Keurig gives you the choice of brewing a whole pot of your favorite coffee or if you like to do the K-cup singles you have that option as well. We will have a small starter amount of coffee supplies, but make sure to bring your favorite brew!

There is also a half bath off the kitchen that includes the washer and dryer and some cleaning supplies you may need during your stay.

The main floor living room is a great space to sit and chat. There is a TV in the living room with Smart TV capabilities thru a Firestick.

The dining room table can seat 6 people as is...need more room...pull out the table ends and enjoy seating for 2-4 more people!

If you need a break from the sun, or just some down time. Check out the sitting room at the front of the house. Here is where you will find the Wifi password as well as some games and books that are there for your enjoyment. In the foyer you will find a basket filled with great info about the area and fun things to do. We have also included a Welcome binder that tells you the ins and outs of the house and great things to do around the area!

Walk-out Basement!

This Finished Basement has a Full Kitchen with bar seating for 5 and Dining Table with seating for 6. It is a great space as it walks out to the lower deck with the pool, perfect for making those afternoon pool lunches and snacks. It has a full refrigerator, oven with stovetop, microwave, and sink.

Next to the Kitchen/Dining is the Living Room area. Here you will find the large sectional/modular couch that is great to hang out on for a movie night on the 70” Smart television. Behind the couch is a Shuffleboard Table for kids and adults to enjoy together!

A kids toy room is a fun addition to keep those kiddos occupied. A little play kitchen, books, puzzles, coloring books, and other fun toys will be there for their pleasure.

The half bath is right when you walk in from the pool and outdoor area, and next to it is the “locker room/pool room.” This may be our favorite addition to the house, featuring a large bench area to store your pool items as well as hooks to hang up those towels so they are ready for the next day! A dryer is in the room as well so you don’t have to drag those damp towels upstairs and can have them dry and ready!
