Beautiful escape in Austria

Spacious and well equipped place in a gorgeous location with an outdoor pool. Far from buzzing nightlife, which is just what we wanted!

Wonderful stay!

Excellent accommodation for groups that need their own room. The facilities are top notch and spatious. Friendly and helpful hosts. We mainly went hiking in the region there. And by recommendation of the owner, also visited a local brewery and did a nice tour there. We also very much enjoyed the outdoor space, kitchen and BBQ. As we had very nice weather, the pool was of course a perfect addition to cool off in. Definitely considering to come back here!

A great vacation with friends

We stayed one week in the house of Herbert and have had a great week. The house is big and stayed here with 2 families. The kitchen, living room, garden and swimming pool were great. Communication with Herbert and his neighboirs was perfect. The house could have been a little cleaner and we missed cabinets in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The upstair bathrooms were outdated but the downstairs bathroom was very Nice. We have had a wonderfull stay at the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Herbert's house in Haimburg. Communication (in English) was excellent and he provided some great recommendations and booked tennis in the village for us. The housekeepers Arnold and Gitte are on hand if anything is needed. The ground floor of the house and outdoor space are fantastic, particularly the pool area and the modern and well-equipped kitchen. The upstairs is less modern, particularly the bathrooms and we really only used the ground floor and top floor showers. There is just one air-conditioning unit in the living area of the top floor and a couple of tower fans. We were blessed with incredible August weather (over 30 every day) very lucky but this did mean that the bedrooms, particularly the top floor, were very hot. We did a day-trip to Lake Bled and had a fantastic lunch followed by lake swimming in Klagunfurt - but mainly we made full use of the house in the sunshine. Thanks Herbert!

Dear Louise & guests, thanks for the comprehensive feedback. We know, if temperatures are north of 30 the house has no air condition in place, powerful enough to cool the big rooms. In respect of bathrooms,we will add pictures of all bathrooms to the expose to provide the full picture for our guests. There are 2 modern bathrooms and on ground floor next to the sauna a big shower room. We aim to refurbish more aerea s of the house in the months to come, when there are no guests. Hope to see you again in the future ! All the best !

Alles in allem „Tiptop“ - sehr gerne wieder.

Also wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Haus in Haimburg 52 Völkermarkt
