Chateau La Mer is directly across the street from Captain Dave's on Scenic 98, this second floor, one bedroom unit sleeps four and is the perfect getaway for one or two couples or a small family and is less than a one-minute walk to the PRIVATE beach entrance. Chateau La Mer is in a fantastic location and is a desirable, family-oriented complex, perfect for a peaceful get-away. The complex has no through-traffic, so families with children can easily enjoy the outdoors.

On-site amenities include a community pool (heated seasonally), tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickleball, children’s playground, charcoal grills, picnic gazebos, community clubhouse, and vending machines. Nearby attractions include shopping, restaurants, water sports and more.

The condo includes a king size bed in the master bedroom and a Premium queen Cozy™ Sleeper Sofa (5-inch mattress) in the living room.

The condo features a spacious, bright, open concept living area with vaulted ceilings. There’s plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable and enjoy themselves. The large living room with flat screen television is very comfortable for watching tv or family movie night. A sofa and matching armchair offer comfortable seating. There is a washer and dryer in the unit so you can pack light.

The kitchen provides everything that you need to prepare any type of meal. There is a refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster oven, programmable crock pot, electric frypan, blender, 4 slice toaster, coffee maker, and all the pots and pans you need to whip up meals when you want to dine in. When you want to eat out Captain Dave’s is directly across the street and Kenny D’s is half a block away so it’s an easy walk to two of the local’s favorites in Destin.

The master bedroom boasts a king bed and flat screen television with a private entrance to the full bath and private access to the patio. It’s great for morning coffee or enjoying an icy beverage after a fun-filled day on the beach or pool.

Everything you need is nearby, and Destin offers so many different entertaining and recreational activities. From arts and culture to eco-tourism, fine dining to quick bites, water sports and adventure to shopping and spas; museums to malls, festivals to concerts, there’s always something going on and something for everyone. The Destin area has it all. Shopping is plentiful at nearby Destin Commons and Silver Sand Premium Outlets. Spend the day at Big Kahuna’s Water Park or drive to Destin Harbor, where you’ll find boat and jet ski rentals, not to mention activities, live music, fireworks, and other events in HarborWalk Village!

Rent a pontoon, jet-ski, kayak or paddleboard. Get a sailboat, take a cruise on a yacht, enjoy the Sea Blaster, or do the dolphin cruise.
