It doesn’t get better than this — welcome to our new lodge, just 1.5 miles from Sierra-at-Tahoe and sitting on 170 feet of beautiful river frontage for endless summer fun!

You’ll be amazed as you step into the spacious Great Room and Chef’s Kitchen, fully stocked with every amenity you could need. Enjoy a Nespresso machine, K-cup coffee maker, a 40-inch professional stove, and brand-new appliances (all updated in 2022)!

Our cabin was newly built at the end of 2022, replacing our original, much-loved rental that held years of phenomenal reviews. Now, it's finally available for you to enjoy!

The covered patio is the perfect spot to relax and listen to the river while you cook on the professional Jenn-Air gas barbecue or the Traeger pellet smoker (available during non-winter months).

Unwind in the master bedroom by the cozy gas fireplace or soak in the luxurious jacuzzi tub in the master bath.

Adventure awaits year-round — ski, fish, hike, boat at nearby lakes, or take a short drive to the casinos. For a special night out, we highly recommend dining at Hell’s Kitchen inside Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Casino (reservations suggested!).

Pet (dog) friendly with approval
No smoking inside or anywhere on the property
Ideal location for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or a hike up to the West Bowl lift at Sierra-at-Tahoe (a short adventure if you have season passes). For summer fun, hike Horse Tail Falls, Explore Echo Lakes, hike locally behind the cabin or drive a short drive into South Lake Tahoe.
Please Note:
The Caldor Fire impacted areas nearby, and while some trees across the river were burned, our property remains lush and green — and the river is as beautiful as ever.

We truly experience all four seasons, and depending on the year, snow can linger into June and the river may run high. While the river is typically gentle, please always supervise children.

The layout of the house made it very functional for a multi-family stay. The hosts thought of everything in preparing the house for our visit, including extra linens, blankets, pillows, staples and snacks in the kitchen, firewood for the fireplace, and even sleds for our grandchildren to use during the stay. Whenever I sent a message to our hosts with a question, how to use something, where best to shop, etc., their replies were almost always instantaneous. Everyone enjoyed the house and we would definitely stay there again, in the winter or the summer seasons!

Fantastic Home Close to Sierra-at-Tahoe!

We had a wonderful stay at Barbi and Mike’s home! We were two families - four adults and four kids - and the house was incredibly spacious and comfortable for all of us. The layout was perfect for group meals and post-ski relaxation. Everything was thoughtfully furnished and well-stocked, which made it feel like a true home away from home.The location was ideal - just a short drive to Sierra-at-Tahoe, which made getting the kids on and off the slopes super easy. Barbi and Mike provided very clear and helpful instructions ahead of our stay, and were kind enough to offer early check-in and late check-out, which made a big difference with our travel plans.We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly, cozy and conveniently located getaway in South Lake Tahoe!

Beautiful Winter Cabin

Our extended family absolutely loved this beautiful winter cabin. Lots of snow and conveniently located close to Sierra at Tahoe. We are looking forward to visiting it again.

Annual family getaway

This cabin was perfect for our annual summer trip with the grandparents, uncles and our family of 5. We took day hikes around Echo Lake, to Wrights Lake, Cody Lake and playing in the river behind the house. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us. Barbi was responsive and helpful with planning. House was exactly as expected and then some. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back in the future!

Beautiful spacious cabin near S Tahoe

The cabin was exactly as described if not more, the space was perfect for our group. We had toddlers, teens, small dog and adult children in our group and the 5 bedrooms were perfect! The layout provided everyone with plenty of space to stretch out and the kitchen was amazing! The outdoor area was amazing, we hiked, bbq’d and just took in the fresh air! Lake Tahoe was a short drive so the kids got to enjoy the beach as well. We will definitely add this cabin to the of our list for future visits and I would highly recommend! Our family was very happy with the cabin.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was beautiful, and was perfect for our needs. My wife and I took our 3 grandchildren my mom along with my brother and his family. There was plenty of room with a large family room, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was fully stocked, and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the covered deck and the property was large and a great place for the kids to explore. The river is right in the backyard and is very calm which was great for the kids. Barbi was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would all highly recommend staying here, we are already talking about staying here again sometime in the winter.

We had a large family group ages 8 - 70+. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their stay. Owner was super helpful through the whole process.

Wonderful Cabin in the snow

Had a great time staying at the cabin (which is really a 5 bedroom house). Snow was pretty deep so we couldn't manage the walk from the backyard to the west bowl chair lift, but it was only a 5 minute drive to Sierra at Tahoe. Kids enjoyed sledding and playing in the snow, when we weren't on the slopes. Lots of firewood available also to warm up our boots and gloves on the fireplace.

Winter wonderland

The cabin was super clean and very well maintained. Barbi was always trying to communicate and help us. Its was a lot of snow. Kids had so much fun playing and sledding on a little hill by the house. The weather got us a little bit so be prepared if you are going during winter storms. High ways to South Lake Tahoe were flooded but we made it there safe and we had no power at the cabin for a little bit. So look at the weather and be prepared. Cabin itself is wonderful. You will love it like we did.

Cozy cabin in the woods

I decided to rent this cabin for a weekend getaway with some friends and it did not disappoint. Immediately when we got there we knew that it was a great cabin. It was very clean inside, recently renovated and has 5 cozy bedrooms. Along with this, the back porch has an amazing view of the forest and river running through the backyard. There are also plenty of trails behind the cabin that are fun to explore. Barbi, the host, was very helpful and easy to communicate with during our stay which made it even better. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!
