We loved staying at Red Oak Ranch for our vacation. We had 3 different families staying in the house and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. There are 2 of everything in the kitchen and lots of entertainment for the kids and adults. There is plenty of parking and the portico was great for loading and unloading. The views of the Smokies were top notch from both the front of the house and the back and the glider rockers on the porches were perfect for morning coffee!

Grandmother's 90th Birthday Trip

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and had no problem getting in. House was beautiful and the view was beautiful. My nephew saw the game room and said "now this is a vacation." The adults loved the firepit and hot tub. Plenty of room for our family of 17. Hated to leave the house, the view, and the town. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Incredible Views and Family Fun!

Incredible views and amenities. Our family loved the cabin. Incredibly clean, super easy checkin process, lots of games for kids (and adults too). We especially loved the fire pit and hot tub. And a bonus how easy it was getting to the Parkway for coaster riding, shopping and dining. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views, amazing house

Wow, we cannot rave about this property enough! The host was so friendly, very responsive, the house was clean & beautiful, the views were amazing, the parking was plentiful, the drive was very reasonable (not too steep or scary). Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this amazing property!

Family reunion

The property is gorgeous and the views are exquisite. We had 16 people in our group and everyone said they loved the place and felt very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the linens were plentiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and enough utensils for everyone. The kids in our group, ages 9, 11 and 12 spent almost all of their time playing the arcade games and pool on the first level. They had a ball. If we were to ever return to the area with this many people we will definitely rent Red Oak Ranch again.

Family Christmas Vacation

We had a fabulous vacation at Red Oak Ranch. The cabin was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The game room was a huge hit. The views were great, especially by the fire pit.

Perfect getaway!

What an amazing time we had at the cabin. Spectacular views and plenty of room. The kids enjoyed all the games especially the arcade basketball and the skee ball. Communication with the owner was excellent and whenever we had any questions he quickly responded.

Red Oak Ranch is Wonderful!

We had a family celebration for a college graduation. We had a party of 12 adults and the property more than met our needs. Red Oak Ranch is a first class vacation home with stunning views of the mountains. The home is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bedrooms are furnished with excellent bedding and sleeping options for guests. The property is outfitted with everything you need. Our adult children enjoyed the pool table and the older folks loved the hot tub and fire pit. The property owners are very helpful and responsive. We really couldn’t ask for more.

Family time

Family Fun in the Smokies

Red Oak Ranch was everything it promised. The grandkids had a blast and stayed busy so the adults could relax and enjoy themselves too. The owner was responsive and quick to answer our questions. The views were gorgeous. You won’t be disappointed with a stay at this property.

Great multi family home

Manager was quick to respond. Place worked great for multiple families with the different levels with games and having a bunk room. Kitchen was large with seating for all of us and more. Crockpot was large size which was super helpful along with two of the large appliances.

Beyond expectations!!

As hosts of this 4 generation family gathering we were delighted to find that this property was even better than advertised!!! Very livable layout allowed for family times or a quite retreat. Endless balconies with fantastic views! Choice of MasterBedrooms and a “bunkhouse “ for the little ones.

The BEST cabin you'll find

This cabin has it ALL! Million dollar nearly 360 degree views of the mountains, quiet, close to it all but still far enough to enjoy the peacefullness of the mountains. The kids and adult kids at heart enjoyed the fun game room. All enjoyed the amazing decks with views. Fantastic hosts with amazing communication. You cant find a better hidden gem in the mountains.

70th Birthday Celebration

Our stay at Red Oak Ranch was spectacular! The house is beautiful and the views are breathtaking! We were a total of 18, ranging from the ages of 70 to 9 years old. The house had many things to keep the kiddos entertained. The location is great as well! The owner was very attentive and always available.

Great cabin with good location near Pigeon Forge

This cabin was very nice and fully stocked with everything we needed for a large group. The layout was great for our group of friends with teenagers. There was a lot for the kids to do at the cabin (pool table, games, hot tub, media room) and we enjoyed the Mountain Views from the balcony and fire pit. Located about 10 minutes from the heart of Pigeon forge so we had easy access to grocery store and lots of activities.

Amazing Cabin

This cabin is beautiful! Plenty of room for our large family. The 360° views are amazing! The firepit is very nice. The pool table, basketball game, skiball and arcade games were a big hit! The 2 of everything appliances in the kitchen were an added bonus for cooking meals for our large crowd. Mickey was a great host and responded immediately to questions asked. Would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to stay there again sometime!

All of us had a great time. Home is very clean. We enjoyed the games and firepit. Nice to have two of everything in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have recliners in the living room. Plenty of parking for all of my family that drove up from different locations in NC. Great communication with the owners. Be sure to read about their home when you enter the foyer. Loved our stay!

Amazing home and amazing home-owners

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We stayed for 7 nights with 5 families - a total of 17 ppl. The house is clean and spacious. The fun spent at the firepit, playing pool and games and enjoying time on the porches are all memories we will have for a lifetime. The owners, Mickey and Sue were top notch in their communication with us before the trip and during the trip. I can’t find one negative comment to make. A superstar property. I’d give 10 stars if I could!! Thank you!!

Wonderful Cabin

After searching for an elegant, fun and spacious place for our family reunion we found this beautiful cabin. It surpassed our expectations! It was perfect! Well designed, beautifully decorated and had everything we wanted including a wonderful kitchen and plenty of space inside and out to hang. We had so much fun enjoying the many amenities the cabin had - pool table, corn hole, a fireplace, an outside fire pit and even a hot tub. After five days it still wasn’t enough time to truly enjoy everything. Red Oak Ranch is a 10!

Amazing family vacation!!

We recently stayed at Red Oak Ranch and it was incredible! The pictures truly do not do this property justice! Definitely makes you go WOW when you first walk in! And the view from the back deck is amazing! There is tons of room for everyone. House was very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Awesome TV/lounge room. Fun games such as pool, arcade game, basketball etc. We especially loved making smores at the awesome firepit! The hot tub was a hit too! Tje location is really convenient to everything we wanted to do and see yet tucked away and up on the mountain..we even had food delivered from area restaurants a couple of nights! The Host/homeowner was superb and so helpful and Informative from beginning to end of stay! Will definitely come back and stay at Red Oak Ranch again! Thank you!!!

Breath taking Views

Absolutely gorgeous property, morning coffee watching the mist rise out of the mountains, priceless! House was perfect for the 16 of us, heck half the time we couldn't find each other. The 20 yr old's hug out in the game room, we really enjoyed the outside table getting caught up with family. We stayed 4 nights and seen bears everyday just strolling by our vehicles or walking between homes. The bears could care less about a bunch of tourists taking photos, they just went on there way without even hardly looking at us. One suggestions, some large pots/kettles would be nice, I had brought my own just in case. If your thinking about renting this home, stop thinking and rent it you will not be sorry!!

Welcome to Red Oak Ranch, we hope that you enjoy your stay here. We have been visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee for many years as a family. During one of our visits here in 2018 we discovered this hidden gem, The Laughing Pines Development.

In 2018 we purchased this lot with the intention of building a beautiful cabin one day. In the early part of 2020 my wife and I spent about 35 days up here to get away from the pandemic. During this time Red Oak Ranch was in the planning and development stages. We broke ground in the fall of 2020 and Red Oak Ranch was becoming a reality. By Thanksgiving 2020 the basement floor had been poured with concrete along with the block walls. By January of 2021 the framing of the cabin was well on its way to become what it is today.

There are some really unique things about Red Oak Ranch, one of the first things we wanted to create was lots of outdoor space hence the outdoor eating area, hot tub area, rear decks, fire pit, front porch, and portico. Another thing you will notice is the barn wood on both sides of the fireplace, around the living room windows and the kitchen island. This barn wood is over 100 years old and was obtained from old tobacco barns along the wilderness trail in Kentucky. The dining room tables were custom made and each piece of oak was hand picked just for this cabin.

In the fall of 2021 this beautiful cabin was completed using the best local material along with the best local craftsmen that you can ask for.
