The property is as nice as advertised. It was very comfortable for our family. The owner provided everything needed for a day at the beach and the indoor/outdoor spaces were setup well for lounging at the house. The manager was responsive to any questions that came up during the stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The best house we’ve stayed in at Miller Beach! The house is stunning with gorgeous decor. Amazing outdoor space. The hosts thought of everything. Excellent communication. Amazingly close beach access. 10/10 recommend!

Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a great time at the house. The kiddo especially loved the loft hammock! Great place to stay with out family as we celebrated thanksgiving in the area!

We weren’t sure what to expect as we were coming in on the heels of the big storm in Gary. Our hosts couldn’t have been kinder, keeping us updated daily on the progress of the cleanup. We had power, air-conditioning lights, a beautiful designer home with so many added touches. Angie And Jim didn’t miss a beat the walk down to the beach kept all of us, strong and healthy as the sand gave us a great workout. Everything was easy, vacation memories with everything at our fingertips. This was our first full family trip with all family members. Everyone of us has beautiful memories of the Holiday House. Do yourself a favor and book this home you’ll never regret it.

Wonderful property right by the water! Fantastic layout for 3 adult couples or families. Very clean and well appointed. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out! Lots to do in the area.

This house was everything we could have asked for! It was clean and stocked with everything we needed and then some. The beach access was perfect! A bit of a drive to most restaurants but there are some delicious options 20-30m away. Pizza at Flamingos was within walking distance and very good. Hosts were extremely responsive and kind!

Fantastic Winter Stay!

We loved our stay. The property was clean, comfortable and the hosts clearly spent a huge amount of time and energy thinking of everything to make it a smooth stay. They had so many thoughtful touches from eye masks to extra blankets. Communication with the hosts was also a breeze. I am certain we will be repeat guests!

Beautiful Rental

This rental is a modern piece of heaven. Everything you would need the owner's thought of. Location is so close to the beach and plenty of parks. The amenities outside are as nice as the inside. Definitely would stay here again.

This is the best of the best! Home, amenities, location, communication - all flawless. The beautiful design of the home is matched by the thoughtful attention to all the details that make a home an exceptional a place to stay - from robes in the baths, to every appliance you could want in the kitchen, to all the items you could wish for on a beach excursion - towels, toys, chairs, umbrella, cart - as well as an outdoor shower for your return. Even if this home weren’t a minute from a fantastic sandy beach on Lake Michigan, it would still be worth staying in just for the home itself. On top of that, Angie and Jim were delightful hosts, more concerned for our comfort than we were and responsive within minutes to any question. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect beach getaway and gathering place

Great location and property-perfect for a beach getaway and gathering place! Jim and Angie are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything. Perfect decor with so many personal touches. The beach is just steps away, and Lake Michigan was pristine. Rent Holliday House and you will be so happy you did!

Amazing house!

We had an amazing stay at the Holliday House! The house is just like it looks in the photos. We loved all of the special little touches around the house. The location is great- cross the street, take a little path, and you will be on the beach. We were there in the off season (March), but hope to return when the weather gets a little warmer. There was plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 teens.

Great owners, unbelievable home! Beautiful! They think of everything that anyone would need for a wknd getaway or vac home. Literally they think of everything! Great people to work with from beginning to end. Can't say enough good things!

One of the best ever!

This home was ever thing as advertised and more. The hosts thought of ever tiny detail to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Several outdoor games provided that we really enjoyed. It was one of our favorite VRBO rentals ever. We definitely hope to return someday. The very short walk to the beach and all the beach accessories they provide were also a fantastic touch. It was obvious they put a lot of thought and care into providing a fabulous experience for their guests.

Wonderful Retreat

We loved the Holliday House! The owners have thought of everything you would want and need in a vacation home. The house is great for family and group gatherings! It is beautiful, but also extremely functional. We loved the indoor/outdoor seating featured in the kitchen to the patio! The kitchen bar window was fun and useful while dining outside. The access to the beach was great and easy to come and go to the beach house. All items you need to go to the beach were provided as well (toys, chairs, umbrellas, and towels etc.) There are also plenty of spaces to retreat alone to relax, read, or sip your cuppa! The house itself is amazing and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the toys for our four-year old and board games for our teenagers. We hope to come back again!

Amazing Location, Amazing House, Amazing Host, Amazing Weekend

This place has everything! Location! Plenty of space! Gorgeous bedrooms, bathrooms, patio, grounds. We stayed for a short weekend and wished it was longer. There were 6 adults, and we all had our own space but also the main room/kitchen was great for gathering and cooking. You cannot beat the location. The dunes are literally at your doorstep. Some people came from Indiana, others drove in from out of state, and others flew into Chicago. Holliday House is so easy to get to while also feeling totally away from it all. And if lounging around in the beautiful space isn't enough, it's a super quick drive to the state and national parks. The house comes with great suggestions and information about the local area. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Phenomenal Stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peacefully. The beach is a block away and most of the time we were the only people there. Beach and water are clean and inviting. The house is spectacular and approved as amazing by 6 teenage girls. The host were kind, friendly and absolutely spectacular even going as far as to help my husband change a flat tire. 100 percent will do again.

Lovely House with Lake Views

The Holliday House is a lively retreat with great views of Lake Michigan at Miller Beach. The house is comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. Check in and check out were easy.

A truly amazingly beautiful house

WOW! This was a truly amazing weekend at the HOLLIDAY HOUSE in Miller Beach. We want to thank you for sharing your beautiful home. While we were anticipating a beautiful “rental property”, Holliday House is so much more than beautiful. From its location, an hour from Chicago, to just a hop from one of Lake Michigan’s sandy beaches, its modern style with large windows that lets the right amount of sunlight in, its comfortable furniture and Zen décor, to the many smallest of touches, the Holliday House is truly a treasure! We loved the quiet and peacefulness of the beach and neighborhood, the trails in the nearby dunes of Northwest Indiana, the local farmers markets, and the friendly people we met. This weekend was so wonderful and relaxing! Thank you.
