A beautiful base of operations for your mountain escape. View the continental divide from the living room and deck- four 14,000 peaks out the front door. Three bedrooms sleep six very comfortably. This newly renovated cabin has it all- wood burning fireplace stocked with firewood, gourmet kitchen with commercial Jennair cooktop, hot tub, gas grill, shuffleboard, spacious decks with views that go on for days! Fast wifi for working at home or streaming entertainment. A three acre wooded lot insures privacy and room to roam. Your headquarters for skiing (Breck is 25 minutes away), snowmobiling, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, ATV riding, rafting, or bagging 14ers. Less than a half hour to the trailheads of five 14,000 ft peaks. Five minutes to Alma or to Fairplay where you will find shopping and dining. World class dining and shopping 25 minutes away in Breckenridge. Or just relax in front of the fire and enjoy the views. Enjoy touring historic mining districts or challenging four wheel drive trails. Fish the Middle Fork of the South Platte within walking distance or head to 11 Mile Reservoir for lake fishing. Park and Summit counties are the center of outdoor recreation. Private workspace in the Master Suite for long term stays.

Great for families

We had an amazing time with 2 families of 4 at Scott's property! Scott was very responsive, everything was clean and the kids loved the hot tub and having marshmallows around the fire.

Mountain adventure

Wanted to give my family a mountain adventure and this was a perfect home base. We loved the property, property owner was very responsive on the few questions we had. Loved the hot tub on the deck. Would definitely stay again!

Family Summer Vacation

My family and I loved our stay. The view from the porch is absolutely amazing. We went on several hikes that were just a 10 min drive away. It is also a short drive to Breckenridge. The cabin had everything we needed.

Absolutely wonderful!

House is perfect and so close to drive to Breckenridge to ski. Well stocked! Perfect fit for me and 3 teenagers. Really loved this one!

Amazing view, helpful host

The kitchen was well stocked, the house was cute and the view was incredible. There was shuffleboard in the loft which was really fun. The elevation was a bit much for me but the host had recommended oxygen supplements before we arrived and that helped a lot.

Gorgeous views!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Close to many hiking trails. Close to Fairplay. Close to Breck. Easy check in, easy to message the owner. They were very accommodating to us in our check-in since we were traveling 10 hours away with 4 small children. We greatly appreciated it and we will be back!

Weekend getaway with friends

Cabin was great! Has everything you would need for your stay and the host was very helpful! It is off a dirt road and is not plowed to well make sure u have a SUV if your booking this cabin as that road is tight and can slip if icy. Saw 2 cars slip and get stuck but overall the house was amazing and host as well

Amazing Mountain Cabin with Excellent View from Living Room and Hot Tub!

Our family had a great time in this clean and comfortable cabin. We loved the close hikes of the Continental Divide and Beaver Creek and just minutes from the cute shops in Fairplay. Kitchen had EVERYTHING you needed and bathrooms were super fancy. No problems at all. Would come back any season!

Great for Family

The house is very nice, as depicted. We particularly liked the location, about halfway between Fairplay and Alma, and the views. We enjoyed grilling, sitting on the porch, and the hot tub. Just right for a family outing. The only reason for the four star rating is water pressure, particularly upstairs. The owner, Scott, said this is not normally a problem and he will follow up to ensure this is not a problem for future guests.

Breathtaking Mountain View’s.

Our stay in this cabin had breathtaking views of the mountains. Literally walking out onto the back patio. Pictures and descriptions to do do it justice. It was well stocked with everything you need for cooking plus lots of games. The owner was so accommodating and quick to reply to my questions. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Rejuvenating the beauty

We chose a property that we would bring rejuvenation, conversation, and nourishment. This beaut of a home created all that. We chatted and planned in the morning breakfast in a very open kitchen, we found solace in the front yard mountains from the hot tub or the “thinking rock”, and we reconvened under the stars. Thanks much to the charismatic greeting and thoughtful supplies of the owner. We loved the home away from home that allowed us to appreciate the beauty of nature…and of people.

Beautiful

Our stay was wonderful! It fit our family of 7 perfectly, giving everyone their own space. The kitchen had all the gadgets, utensils, pots, pans, bowls, really everything you would need! The location was private, which we liked, yet close to FairPlay and Alma, and a fun drive to Breck. They also has tons of games, which really enjoyed playing in the evenings after our day excursions! The Blancs returned my messages quickly when I had questions. We were very pleased with the property and experience; I cannot think of one thing to complain about! Lol!

Wonderful Home Away from Home

Property was just as stated, and pictures were accurate. House is equipped with lots of stuff, pots/pans, utensils, spices, bathroom stuff, Keurig, and tons of wood cut for fireplace. Actual wood burning fireplace was very nice. Ski rental place within 5 minutes. Nearby grocery store is very small so it's a good idea to bring snacks, etc. from home if you can. There are some larger stores by Breckenridge if you want to make the drive for initial grocery run. House was very clean, very spacious, love having washer and dryer in house. Master suite is actually upstairs and is the bedroom with the TV for anyone who can't do stairs like myself but there are rooms downstairs as well and a bathroom. Scott was very quick to respond to me and very friendly to deal with. Keyless entry made it very easy to check in as well. If you are looking for something closer to the slopes, this isn't the house but Scott is accurate in the listed on how long it takes to get to Breckinridge so you should know ahead of your stay. We had a very superb stay, snowed a lot, great views, very quiet, away from the chaos of touristy Breckenridge but close enough to the slopes. It was a wonderful "home away from home". Thank you Scott!

I am a forth generation Colorado native who loves the outdoors. Our mountain home is where we love to spend time skiing, mountain biking, four wheeling, or just hanging out. We have enjoyed the space so much and now we are happy to share it with others who can enjoy it as well.

We looked at hundreds of mountain homes before we chose this location. The views of the Continental Divide from the are spectacular! The location is close enough to Breckenridge to access everything it has to offer but far enough away that we can enjoy privacy and peace and quiet on three acres of land. Fairplay is only five minutes away and is a great smaller mountain town with several good restaurants and shopping. The location provides access to hiking, climbing, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, four wheeling and just about any other outdoor activity. Great base for climbing 14,000 foot peaks (14ers) with trailheads for four 14ers very close by.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We have fully renovated the space including a gourmet kitchen, two recently remodeled baths, and a great open floor plan centered on a beautiful wood burning fire place. Firewood is provided. The kitchen includes a well stocked coffee bar and a Jenn-air stove top grill. Outside is a barbeque, a hot tub and a large deck to enjoy the fantastic views from. Plenty of parking, and close enough to Highway 9 to allow easy access. Fast internet and access to Netflix and other streaming services insures that you stay connected.
