THE ENVIRONMENT:
Okrug Gornji is located on the island of Ciovo, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge (24/7) so that it is both island and peninsula. Okrug Gornji is 4 km from the town of Trogir. From Okrug Gornji you can drive to Trogir except by car, also by bus and boat. The boat leaves every 30 minutes from Copacabana beach to Trogir city center. Okrug Gornji is very attractive as there is a 2 km long promenade and pebble beach Copacabana which is ideal for daytime and evening entertainment. On the beach there are numerous restaurants and cafes, as well as live music and fishing evenings, water sports, children's playgrounds, supermarkets and much more. Boat trips to the surrounding islands of Solta and Drvenik are regular.
