This vacation house has an unobstructed view of the majestic monolith of Superstition Mountain Range. It is the world famous icon that separates urban luxury and wilderness adventure. If you’re the outdoor hiker type, you can meander with nature. Hike the wilderness trails; experience the desert flora, look for the Lost Dutchman’s Goldmine.

Great location for a quiet getaway

This place was perfect for our family of 5 while visiting grandparents in the same neighborhood for the week. Easy check-in, clean house with lots of space. Community pool is close and beautiful. We’ll be back!

Very comfortable house with wonderful views

I stayed here with my husband and adult children as we visited my mom. We love this area and the hiking in the Superstitions. Rita’s house was a perfect place to stay. The house has lots of room. The kitchen and living room are spacious. And the views from the patio are WOW! Rita was an excellent host and was very responsive.

Nice house, bad host

The house was nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. There were a few small cleanliness issues but nothing concerning except the dog hair in a couple of the rooms when the listing specifically said there were no dogs allowed. My son got sick on the carpet in the guest room while he slept so my husband had to buy carpet cleaner at 3am to clean up the spot. We fully disclosed this to the owner and explained that we left a window open to help air out the smell. She replied with a very nasty message about how filthy we left the house, that it was the worst she had ever seen, and accused us of having a dog. I explained to her again what had happened in the room, pointed out the other cleanliness issues we found most likely from previous renters, and added that we did the dishes and stripped the beds for washing. As well as explained that we did not travel with a dog and had specifically booked her rental because someone in our party is allergic to dogs. She continued to call me a liar and said she stands by her cleaning lady and claimed the neighbor saw us with a small dog, which could not have been possible. Overall, the house itself was a nice size and well outfitted for the 4 adults and 3 small children we had but her handling of the situation was unprofessional and childish.

Location, location, location

Great spot - away from the crowds - dark sky’s, great views. The house was perfect for the activities we planned in Superior and the Superstitious Mtns. Owner was very easy to contact with any questions.

The house was very comfortable, the neighborhood is very quiet and the view of the Superstitions i very nice. Close to grocery and other services.

Perfect in Peralta Trails

We have stayed at this property several times and have enjoyed this stay as much as in the past. It is a great place. We enjoy the beautiful view of the Superstition Mountains from the patio. The house is well kept, well supplied, appliances work well and it is clean. It is a short drive to hiking and off-roading. We will definitely be back.

Felt like home

This is a lovely home located in a very safe community. Everything was clean and provided to make our stay relaxing. The community pool was down the road and we found that everybody was very friendly. The owner communicated with us before and followed up after we left. I would rate our stay as an A+.

Amazing Home and Views

We rented the home for our adult daughter, son, and granddaughter who where in town for a family celebration. It was perfect - the home is so well appointed that you feel like you're home the minute you walk in the door. For down times, the 4 bikes in the garage encourage guests to go for a ride to explore the gated community. In addition, the pool is just down the street or the back porch welcomes you to sit outside and enjoy the amazing view! We will most definitely rent this home again. Thank you, Rita, for sharing your home with us.

Lean well kept property with an amazing Superstition Mountian view!

The view, the view, the view.. Absolutely outstanding!! This home is comfortable and well equipped.. Rita was most accommodating and always reachable..she has mountain bikes for guests and the desert glory pool only a 5 minute walk away.. look no further than this property if you are interested in renting in the gold canyon area.. we look forward to our next visit..

Great views in Gold Canyon

Second year we have stayed at this place in Gold Canyon. It was great. Although there is construction behind the house it does not obstruct the view. Still a great view of the Superstition Mountains. The place is well stocked and very comfortable. Close to many hiking trails.

We stayed in Rita’s Home for 3 months while our new home was being built. I can’t say enough great things about our stay there! Breathtaking views of the Superstition Mountains right in the back yard and everything you need in her home! Clean, up to date and full stocked with all the things for a stress free stay! Great House Great View

We were very happy with our stay at your house in Gold Canyon. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The view out the back patio was outstanding. We enjoyed many evenings watching the sunset while having a glass of wine.

Beautiful home, great value

We stayed 5 days. The home has beautiful, nearly unobstructed views of the Superstion Mts. from the back patio.We traveled to Tucson and it was an easy commute. We hiked on the State Peralta Trail with awesome undeveloped views which is maybe a 20 min drive on the improved gravel road out the back of the subdivision. We paid a $20 family fee online to use the State land. It was worth It. The kids enjoyed the community pool, a nice place to relax and copl off. Everything in the description was spot on. We had seamless communication with Rita. It is a beautifully furnished home with everything we neded and a we found it to be a great value.

Lovely, well appointed home with great views

My family stayed at this home for 3 days while visiting family nearby. The home has a great layout. Is tremendously comfortable and the views are better than expected. We would certainly stay here again.

Great stay!

Great home, very well furnished and plenty of room. We loved the quiet gated community, we felt very safe. The community pool was nice, we were there almost everyday. Rita was super easy to reach with any problems or questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Best. Vacation. Ever!

This is my 2nd time to Rita's fabulous house...and the next time will not come soon enough! The guys headed out for their own adventures bird watching and hiking and us ladies went bike riding and then spent the most wonderful time pool side! I have never been more relaxed then I have been on this vacation! Girls trip already in the plans!

STUNNING!

I have never used VRBO and was a little apprehensive but we were not disappointed. This house was perfect, the views from the back yard stunning and Rita was so very accommodating. The house is close to hiking trails, shopping, dining, lakes...you name it! The communal pool was so refreshing and we had to ourselves the entire stay. I am definitely staying here again.

Amazingly Beautiful

We rented this lovely home in May for girls week!! The weather was perfect and this home had everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool was great and we enjoyed our coffee outside on the patio in the mornings. The view of the Superstition Mountains is amazing as well as the stars at night! Can't wait to return again. Rita is the best!!

Sunsets on Superstition

We knew this was going to be a great time from the moment we walked in...felt better than home! Almost didn't want to go to sleep because it was so amazing outside looking at the stars and was so eager to see the sun shining on Superstition Mountain in the morning! Of course, now that it is time to go home...we want to stay longer...looks like we will be coming back again...and again...and again! If we can't own a property down here...this is where I want to stay!
