The Beach House is decorated with coastal touches and recently received new flooring inside and a fresh coat of exterior paint. This bungalow is great for a small family and is a short walk to the beach. Sit back on the spacious porch and enjoy the ocean breeze while sipping on your morning coffee. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for cooking, a standard coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. There is seating for six around the breakfast bar to enjoy the repaired meals. The living room contains a couch, a loveseat, and a TV. Off of this room are two twin daybeds and a full-size washer and dryer tucked neatly behind a mirrored closet door. The Master bedroom (BR1) holds a King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone shower, (BR2)- The guest bedroom contains a Queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone shower. Bring the family and friends for a fun stay at The Beach House, a perfect location just 0.3 miles to the beach and 0.7 miles to restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

This is a very cute bungalow type of a house that will sleep 6 just a short distance to the beach.

We had a great weekend playing at the beach and shopping in Port Aransas. Then great evenings resting and eating at the bungalow.

Don’t stay here!

Outdoor furniture for up-no where to sit. Locks are wonky. One entry-cannot be up to fire code. Sofas are awful -no cushion and musty. Small showers. Poorly equipped kitchen. House is full of old junk, they thought they could make money without putting any effort into making it pleasant.

The cottage was nice. Some repairs issues were noted including leaky flapper valves in both toilets and broken tracks on bedroom doors. Dishes were dirty and needed to be cleaned before use. A/C worked very well. Fans in all rooms were nice. Bathrooms were off the bedrooms which means the 5th and 6th guests needed to intrude on privacy

Great Location! Great Deck & Yard!

The location is great and it was clean with plenty of bath linens. The deck was wonderful w/ a place to wash off after the beach. The only negative was the listing said recently updated, which it was not. The fridge takes 2 days to cool only a few items and the master bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked enough for us to move to the other bed room after the first night (just one side made from me rolling over). We decided not to try the stove. But it was clean and location, location, location!! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Get-Together

We went to Port A with a large group of friends and two of us stayed at the Bungalow as an alternative to a busy condo. It really is cute. Unfortunately, there were some things that bothered me - the yard was in need of a mowing, the smoke detector in the front room was disconnected and hanging by the hinge, slats were missing from the bi-fold door to one of the bedrooms, and none of the outlets works in the same bedroom. The PM did not respond to my text.

Overall property was okay, grass needed trimmed inside had a few issues, one of the folding doors was broken and there was a smoke detector hanging from the ceiling.

Enjoyable and relaxing stay

The property wade as describe on the latest review. My family and I were comfortable and enjoyed the hospitality. We were not disturbed at all by any of the management. Great clean bungalow. Thanks again my family and thank you for your hospitality.

Great location, space, and deck

This is a nice little cottage, in a great location close to the beach. Fresh paint in the house and new flooring in the main room. Some of the furniture is a bit outdated, but the place is clean, fun, and very convenient!

Enjoyed the stay!

This place is in a great location and was very clean upon arrival. The two bedrooms both have their own restrooms which was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is a little smaller than most places we normally stay at, but we actually liked the more compact size and less stairs to climb. Front porch was a great place to spend time in the mornings and in the evenings after visiting the beach. Only minor complaint is the outdoor trash can did not have a lid and the backyard could be fenced which would keep the people who stay in the cabins behind the house from walking right through the yard to go to and from the beach. Overall we enjoyed it and will be booking again in the future.

619SC Beach House

The house is in a good location - short, easy walk to the beach. The house itself needs some renovation work. Four of the 6 windows had no locks on them (broken off). The furniture is dated and appeared to be water stained and/or dirty. The sleeper sofa was actually damaged/broken; but, wasn't an issue for us since there were only two of us (and the dog). The management company was quick to respond to the issues and did what they could do at the time to secure the windows. One of the windows was actually broken and all of the windows could stand to be replaced. Maybe the owner will spend some money in the near future and bring this property to its full potential. It would have been nice if the back yard had been fenced in; so that we could let our dog out without having to keep him on a leash all the time. The amount and type of furniture in the house made it appear that the owner was going for maximum sleep capacity. There were two day beds crammed in the living room/dining room area. I think that area would have been better suited for a table and chairs - rather than the daybeds. It just looked a little cluttered. The front patio is nice - with plenty of seating space. Again, this property has a lot of potential if the owner would consider some small renovations and changes.

For the price I expected more.

Roaches, mold in showers, thick dust on walls at top of doorframe, outdated. Would not stay here again even if the price was half as much.

Wet stay

House great but weather was horrible . Lots of rain/ thunderstorms. Very close to beach.Played lots of games due to weather but house worked well for being closed in due to weather.

Close to perfection

The place was lovely and very close to the beach. We decided to rent a golf cart and that really added to the charm of PA. The house was what I called Caribbean flare...all of the beds were comfy and it was fairly clean. I would suggest dusting the fans tho. But not a deal breaker. There was an outdoor shower which my teenage daughter loved. We didn’t have any neighbors and it was pleasantly quiet! I would also suggest some outdoor lighting be added to the patio...it was a lovely patio to sit on while in rained. I would also suggest they replace the stove. It worked but can tell it is dated. Maybe add a few more things to the kitchen. Would def stay there again and just bring the items that we didn’t have. We had a lovely time and thank you!

The text messages were very helpful for checking in and out. Liked that the company had golf carts to rent. I would have liked to known about that prior to getting there. The air was a little stale. Other than that I had a great experience

Not so picturesque on the inside.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen is in bad need of decent pots and pans. Those that are there are all scratched up, and there are not enough. There is no dining table--just uncomfortable stools at a bar that divides the kitchen from the living area. The lighting is poor for reading--ceiling fans with lights--too high too allow for close work. In short, adequate for a weekend, if the renters want to eat out a lot, but not conducive to a month's stay. I did enjoy spending time on the deck, but even that needs some upgrades--backs of cushions on chairs were covered with mold. They look like they've never been cleaned.

The furniture and drapes were put dated and did not fully cover the windows .

There were mosquitos everywhere bring after bite because you will be attacked when outside and getting into the house or car . The beach is about 6 blocks in distance. The pool is two houses down and the filter and pump were not on so the water was not circulating and debris was floating about. The beds were comfortable. The TV had no instructions on how to get stations and multiple controls made it a challenge to figure out. The TVs were small and one bedroom did not have a Tab. The house was not cleaned welll in that there were gym shorts behind the bedside table and stocked with half a roll of toilet paper. The bathrooms were very clean but only one bathroom had one roll of toilet paper . The porch was spacious but due to mosquitos we were not able to enjoy any outdoor activities . mosquitos traps or light would of been nice.

Good location

The Location was good , easy to get to beach and stores . It was a good setup . House had everything you need . House did have a musty smell . ???? filter , very dirty needs to be changed . Beds were fine clean and comfortable. We would stay again .

Disappointed

We were highly disappointed in the cleanliness and overall outside front and back area. Grass wasn’t cut, part of the trellis around the house torn off, just looked junky. There were no kitchen trash bags and the tv in the living room never worked even after calling the office for help. Will not rent again
