Welcome to The Crabby Paddy—a bright, cheerful, and inviting end-unit townhome with just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Cape San Blas. This cozy coastal retreat offers fresh décor, plenty of natural light, and all the comforts of home to make your stay easy, relaxing, and memorable.

Start your mornings with a peaceful stroll to the shoreline to hear the waves roll in and feel the soft sand beneath your feet. Spend the day soaking up the sun, searching for shells, swimming, or simply unwinding on the quiet beaches of the Forgotten Coast. In the evenings, head back out to catch one of our unforgettable Gulf sunsets—you can even build a small beach fire and roast hot dogs or s’mores while you watch the sky glow.

When you’re ready to relax, The Crabby Paddy welcomes you with fresh paint, clean and simple coastal décor, and a warm, homey feel. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests who enjoy cooking, but you’re also just a short drive from some of the area’s best fresh-seafood restaurants.

Both bathrooms are equipped with fluffy towels and thoughtful amenities, so you can pack a little lighter. And don’t forget your bathing suits, fishing gear, or favorite beach toys—the fun here is endless.

Such a wonderful condo! It was very clean and had all the amenities needed (and then some-the coffee bar was a nice touch!) Eve was very attentive and made the entire process so easy. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Cape San Blas!

LOVED Crabby Paddy!!! Excellent host & beautiful condo! Owner was very responsive and our condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and the most well-stocked we've ever stayed in! Would definitely stay again or recommend! We have back problems and the master king bed was extremely comfortable yet supportive (high end).Barrier Dunes is a favorite destination for us and very nice beach for families.

We visited Cape San Blas with our two you boys (4 & 7). We had the best time exploring the Cape. The crabby paddy was the perfect place to stay. It's way out on the Cape. The crabby paddy was clean and had perfect beach decor. Two bedrooms both with convenient bathrooms, the master is on its own floor. Host communicated clearly and we had no issues coming and going from the gated community all day. Would definitely come back!

I’ve been coming to Cape San Blas for 30 years, and this is my 8th year staying at Barrier Dunes. This unit was the best one so far! Everything in the unit was exactly as described. The host has gone above and beyond to make vacation easier on the guests. The unit is super clean and well-kept. The host is clear and prompt in communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a relaxed and affordable beach vacation. Lots of available beach items to facilitate that, and lots of extra small things in the house to make you feel welcome. 2 pools on site are nice, 5 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to the star park. Host was fantastic to communicate with.

I really can’t stay enough good things about our stay at the Crabby Paddy. From the very beginning, Eve was extremely communicative, made sure to check in to make sure we were OK once we got settled. She let me know the day before our trip that the washing machine had gone out, but a replacement was already ordered, and on its way! Even the washing machine replacement was seamless. The condo is every bit as beautiful as depicted in the photos. Very well appointed, beds were comfortable, the walk to the beach was easy. I’ve used VRBO several times, but this was absolutely my best experience. Can’t wait to go back!

I am a beach girl at heart. I grew up in the Virginia Beach, VA area and spent a lot of time at the beach growing up. I have always wanted to be back at the beach and to have a property that was fun and comfy to visit with our family whenever possible. We have lived in Texas for the past 25 years, but also did a stint in the Midwest before moving to Texas. We found a great place on Cape San Blas to occasionally get our “beach fix”, but to also share it with you! This property is managed by us and not a property management company. We care about this property very much and want you to make yourselves at home! We are readily available should you have questions. We hope you love it as much as we do!

This property has been freshly painted, updated furniture, and stylish decor was added! The beds are nice and comfortable. The kitchen stocked with hopefully anything you need to make a fabulous meal. We love this property because it is a very quick walk to the beach on the Gulf and is such a beautiful beach! The neighborhood, Barrier Dunes, is full of friendly people and low to no traffic for kids to ride their bikes or scooters. Cape San Blas is a small beach town without any of the large hotels and crazy nightlife. We want you to come have fun but also relax at the beach, the pool, or on the deck! Enjoy!

You have all the comforts of home with two comfortable beds!

BATHROOM:
Linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/toilet paper, hair dryer in each bathroom for your convenience. Should be enough to get you through your stay!
KITCHEN:
stocked with pots, pans, casserole dishes, serving pieces, plates, bowls, utensils, knives, wine opener, blender, mini waffle maker, and pretty much anything you need for meal prep.
