Alex was quick to respond and great to work with, making the entire process easy from start to finish. The home was awesome—very clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and beautifully cared for. The master suite was large and spacious with plenty of closet space, and the layout was very convenient for our family.The balcony-style screened-in porch overlooking the canal was a highlight. We saw manatees, dolphins, and other wildlife swimming right by, which made mornings and evenings incredibly relaxing. The house offered plenty of space for our group of five (two teens, a 21-year-old, my wife, and myself) and never felt cramped.The St. James area was fantastic, with several waterfront restaurants within walking distance. The island itself had a great, laid-back vibe and felt like its own little getaway. You really didn’t need to leave the island once you arrived, but if you did, additional restaurants and grocery stores were just a short drive away.The pool area was spacious with plenty of room to relax, and the dock was large and perfect if you bring a boat or have friends pick you up by water. Overall, this was an excellent stay in a great location, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Family vacation

Thank you for hosting your beautiful home with us. It made our family vacation so wonderful and relaxing. We had everything we needed and cooked in every night except for one when we took a boat ride over to Cabbage Key. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Property

This home was really well maintained and clean. Alex was very responsive to our needs, although, we really didn't need much because everything was in order. I was very impressed and have booked again next year.

Awesome House, Awesome Location

We were looking for a place that was near where we had other family staying and had three bedrooms (two with Kind beds), and found this house that was right on a canal that was close to the ocean and right down the street from where our other family was staying. The house felt brand new, and had all the amenities we needed for a two week stay, including a heated pool, well stocked kitchen and plenty of open spaces. The back of the house has a massive sliding glass door system that leads to a screened porch overlooking the canal, and we loved using the system to basically open up the main living area to the ocean breezes by sliding the doors to the side (each of the two three panel doors could be consolidated to one panel). No hassles with check-in or checkout. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of rental.

Perfect summer vacation getaway

This house was exactly what u was looking for in a summer vacation rental. The owner was responsive and helpful. The location was great, and the house was in perfect condition. Will definitely be renting this house again.

Brand New and Beautiful

My husband and I brought his boat and we stayed for 2 weeks at White Sands. Boat launch is right down the road and house has a nice dock on the canal, heated pool, screened porch which we loved that overlooks the pool and waterway, beautiful kitchen, spacious living room and comfy beds. Definitely a 5 Star home.

Great house, great town. Even better views

Luxurious and quaint. The house was pretty incredible. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. You can see the stars at night. Outstanding views. A great overall stay will try to stay here again next year. The host was great to communicate with. Thank you!

Wonderful cabal side home

Beautiful home!

My family stayed for a week and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and the location is amazing! St. James City provides access via boat to some of the most desirable beaches and islands, including Cayo Costa, Captiva, Sanibel and Boca Grande, while allowing you to stay out of the hustle and bustle of busy summer crowds. Alex did a great job communicating and addressing any questions. We definitely plan on returning.

Our Second Home!!

We stayed here back in April 2023 and fell in love with the home, the views, and the tropical feeling of Saint James City and could not wait to come back again to see real estate in the area. We booked a second trip in July to search for our permanent "second home" in St. James City. We would love to live here everyday for the rest of our lives. We found some good home possibilities but the right one didn't present itself so we will be booking another stay soon at this property to stay another week and continue our search. Until we find the perfect second home in St. James City, we will make this VRBO home our second home away from home for now as we continue to search Saint James City our forever home!

Perfect boating house

Beautiful, new, clean, modern home with Pool and Dock! We brought our 26 ft. boat down for a week of boating and fishing and the property perfectly suited our needs. The dock was new and it was a quick trip out into open water, and easy access to nearby Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The boat ramp was only about a mile down the road. The house was well appointed, nice big baths, laundry, comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. Loved the pool and the fact it was pet friendly. Would definitely recommend if boating, a lot of the area is still undergoing repairs from the hurricane, so not that many eating options, but a new Winn Dixie and Publix are close. Wonderful week of boating and the perfect place to call "home". Would definitely recommend this home.

Loper Adventures

Stunning new home with immaculate craftsmanship and attention to detail and interior color selections. Extremely clean home and awesome bed mattresses!! My family came to spend the week to island hop the different waters and sandbars in the Gulf with 4 jetskis everyday!! Beautiful! The home accommodated our two double jet ski trailers on the property and to clean them everyday from the salt water. Grandkids had a blast in the pool and we enjoyed grilling out a few meals. The home location was so welcoming and we loved the friendly neighbors next door to the right! We felt the family atmosphere everywhere we went on the island! Highly recommend!!

Winter Retreat

We had a wonderful stay and the property is beautiful. Having come post IAN we were very appreciative of all the people, establishments open and the broader impact of what happens when a community all works together.
