Welcome to Once Upon a Tide Beach House in Vilano Beach (Salted Heated Pool) The beach house is in a perfect location. 3 blocks to the beach , 1 block to the intracoastal. A short 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown St. Augustine. Very spacious and well pointed home with 2 living rooms, the main living room is on the first floor and a second living room is upstairs in the loft area.

Brand new luxurious 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath resort style pool home at the beach. Amazing backyard with a brand new salted heated pool and jets for your relaxation! Spacious outdoor shower with a large seating bench along with shelving for toiletries. The first floor features an open floor plan, living room, dining area spacious enough to gather with family and friends. Plenty of seating in the living room with a 65 inch smart TV that is mounted onto to a floor to celling stone fireplace where you can catch up on all your shows , desk, with large sliding glass doors allowing lots of natural light. Dining table seats six, 2 additional seats at the island, plus outdoor dining. Fully stocked kitchen with all you will need to cook meals. Everything brand new, beautiful countertops and stainless steel appliances: including refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. For the coffee and tea lovers you will find a coffee bar with a Cuisinart coffee maker and tea maker. The main floor also features a half bath. Pool Deck: Step out onto your very own outdoor oasis. The pool will give you a zen-like tranquility. The privacy will set the stage for family and friends to make plenty of sun-soaked memories. Relax on the outdoor patio furniture and chaise lounges and soak in the sun and melt away the stress. When night falls, the multi colored solar lights will appear, turn on the pool light for a perfect after dinner ambiance. For music put on the bluetooth that is provided and get the night started.

Within minutes you will find a Publix, amazing restaurants, shopping and beautiful historic downtown St. Augustine where you will enjoy strolling down St. George Street where you will find some of the best restaurants, live music and bars around.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Beyond the fact that she was a dream to work with before the stay and during the booking process, the house was beautiful and immaculate, the pool was everything I want (it’s a cocktail pool which makes it great for hanging out as a group), and she didn’t have any ridiculous demands. I highly recommend and if I vacay in St Augustine again I will definitely stay there!!!

Excellent place for family fun at the beach

We had a great time staying with 9 family members. The backyard pool and surrounding deck was great for lounging around. Convenient location to old st Augustine and an easy 5 min walk to the beach. Walked the beach every morning.

The property was very nice and clean. The property is advertised as having four bedrooms and it does not. There are only three bedrooms, plus a loft area with a pull out bed. The bugs out back were so bad we were unable to enjoy the pool. There was no screening or bug deterrent, which would have been it much more enjoyable.

Amazing, exactly as described!! Gorgeous home!

We had such a wonderful time that we booked a stay for a couple months from now during the trip we were currently on!! The home is even better than described Denise the hostess is amazing attentive and so thoughtful. Her home is out of a magazine!! we stay in Saint Augustine many many times a year this is our favorite and will be our favorite each time we are blessed to be able to rent it from her!!

Once upon a time

Denise was awesome. She answered questions promptly before we even booked and always responded quickly during our stay. She went above and beyond with some little extras for us and our small children. The house is beautiful. The pool was warm and relaxing and has a shallow area perfect for younger kids. We sat outside and swam quite a bit for being December! The location is great for access to the beach and also close to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property, Responsive Host

Denise was so on the ball with communication. I arrived a few minutes before check in and she opened the door for us. The house was absolutely beautiful, marked with signage to help us navigate the many beautiful amenities. And she was very understanding when we had a few too many vehicles for a few hours during the morning while we had hair and makeup people getting the ride and bridal party ready for the big wedding day. So close to the beach this property was a real dream and I would go there again ina heartbeat and would highly recommend to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay! We drove over from Sarasota to attend a football game in Jacksonville. It was a beautiful drive from Denise’s place up A1A. The house was perfect! Close to the beach to catch the sunrise, close to the historical district but in a quiet lovely neighborhood. The house was wonderful for a family and did not miss a thing. Highly recommend!

We were a group of nine ladies who organized a weekend together and decided to book this house and we are so glad we did. The property is so nice, the backyard and pool are incredible, and we felt so welcomed. We very much enjoyed the property and all of the details and hard work that went into it – I would absolutely stay here again.

Family Beach Vacation

Our family (8 adults and one seven month old) thoroughly enjoyed spending vacation at this beautiful home! The house was decorated beautifully and was clean, clean, clean! All commented on how well stocked the house was, with any item you could think of on site. We used the pool daily and also made several trips to the beach. The beach access was close by and the available beach necessities provided made beach days convenient and most enjoyable. Denise was always immediately responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and easy, low traffic route into St. Augustine. Would highly recommend this home for a great vacation!

Great beach home 10 mins from downtown!

As stated by prior guests, Once Upon A Tide is fantastic! It’s located in a small and friendly community that is very welcoming. The home itself has a special ambiance to it from the excellent decor to the neatly placed amenities throughout the space. The pool area features a heated pool with a gas fireplace. We loved exploring all that it had to offer. The host is responsive and timely with communication. The checkin process is touchless and very easy. No complaints on my end. Thank you.

Sensational Beach Vacation

My family and I loved this beach home. The location was perfectly situated close to the beach and great restaurants. Our host provided all the amenities we could think of and more. Overall the best vacation we've ever had looking forward to staying here again next summer.

Grad weekend

My two friends and I stayed at Once Upon A Tide and loved the property. We were one block from the beach but enjoyed the in-ground pool at Denise’s property immensely. Great girls weekend that will probably turn into a yearly event. Thank you, Denise for an amazing stay!!

Great house for a family vacation

We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for a family vacation. The outdoor space with the pool was ideal for everyone to gather and the house had plenty of room for the kids to play and the adults to hang. The beach access was easy breezy with the golf cart. I highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again.

Once Upon a Tide

Beautiful new home! Plenty of amenities and room for the 6 of us. Outdoor areas were amazing! As advertised. Thoughtful welcome package greeted us on the kitchen countertop. Beyond quiet at all times. Publix supermarket is very near by and two local restaurants, Aunt Kate’s and The Reef are less than five minutes away. The beach is within walking distance. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach wagons. Exceptionally clean all around. Spent plenty of time in the pool and outdoor lounging areas. We will definitely return!

Excellent property!

Traveled with a group of 8 women (all 40+ years old). We had an excellent time. The house is very close to the beach, Denise was an awesome host and responded quickly with any questions we had. We had everything we needed in the house. Nothing at all to complain about. Only 1 heads up for anyone looking to stay with 8 people, the top bunk beds are 100 pound weight limit. We just took the mattresses off the top of the bunk and slept on them in the loft area. Other than that, had a blast!

Excellent Vilano Beach Rental St Aug FL

Very comfortable, updated new home. They had everything you needed. I cant stress this enough. If you forgot to pack something - they already had it. Last thing you want to do is pack house wares when going on vacation. This rental is above average when it comes to the amenities of the home - Great job and Thank you! we will rent again!

Beautiful home!

This house was the perfect spot for our family get together. It was my family of 4, my parents and my brothers family of 4. We had plenty of space. There was something for everyone to do. The owners of this beautiful home put a lot of effort into making us feel welcome and at home. The home was immaculate, everything we could possibly need was available. The location is wonderful, we were able to put the kids in the wagons and walk to the beach. The private pool was the perfect size for the adults to lounge and the kids to play. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and the owner!

We knew instantly that this was a place that we would love returning to and visit often . We just completed our brand new beach house in Vilano Beach and would like to have our guest experience this great beach town which is only a 10 minute drive to historic downtown St. Augustine and all it has to offer.
