While generally polite, there were a few concerns during their stay. Unfortunately, they brought pets despite the house rules, which caused some inconvenience. Additionally, there were more overnight guests than originally agreed upon, which made it difficult to maintain a comfortable environment for everyone. There were also some issues with trash, as they disposed of construction materials leading to excess trash. Communication was a bit challenging at times, and some requests felt more nit-picky than expected, and had issues with providing details/photos through the VRBO app. Even after providing them with replacement items they deemed unsatisfactory, cleaning supplies, and additional trash bags outside of typical usages for 2 guest. It was also noted that we have a pantry stocked with food items for guest use. It was also noted that there were some tensions with the neighbors, which is always a priority for me to maintain good relationships in the community. That being said, they did leave the house in good condition overall, which I appreciated. Moving forward, I would recommend future hosts to clarify house rules and expectations early on to ensure a smooth experience.
