Close to three excellent golf courses, Eagle Eye and Hawk Hollow in East Lansing and The Emerald in St. Johns. Round Lake is an all sports lake, great fishing, bring your boat, launch next door. BBQ grill, fire pit, 2 kayaks, paddle boat, fully stocked kitchen. A sunset every night. Relax and enjoy without traveling up North for a vacation. Owners gave precise instructions on unlocking/locking home. Very clean inside, bedrooms were very comfortable. Fire pit was fabulous to have as the evenings were cool. The local town, Laingsburgh, was VERY friendly with wonderful places to eat. We highly recommend Tammy’s Bakery and cafe for breakfast, Two Dog Saloon and the Graham Vineyard & Winery.

Lake vistit

Very relaxing, quiet and peaceful! Cottage was in great shape and the deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the week. Would definitely visit again.

Lake house near Lansing.

We had beautiful weather for November! The lake was a special treat and even went kayaking. The house was comfy and very clean. Lots of rocking chairs, which we loved! Judy was very responsive - from the time we booked, until we checked out. Would highly recommend.

Too little time

The property was amazing with the trees just starting to change into their Fall colors. We were there for a wedding and unfortunately were not able to spend as much time enjoying the property and what it offered as we would have liked. Judy was very responsive, everything was clean, neat and organized and there were plenty of little extras that surprised us. Hope to visit again.

Beautiful lakeside view

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the deck is stunning. It is quiet and serene. The house is very clean. Judy was wonderful. Very responsive. We will stay again.

Perfect Getaway for Friends

4 friends since high school wanted a brief getaway to spend more time together. This was perfect! The house had everything we needed! It was very clean with many special touches. We each had our own bedroom, kitchen is well stocked, big grill, lots of outdoor furniture, great sun room for morning coffee, big dining table for meals, beautiful deck with table. Views of the lake are beautiful, especially the sunsets! Communication with the owner was excellent! Nearby golf was a plus! Can’t say enough….if we return to the same area, we will definitely want to stay here again!!

Round Lake fun

A comfortable setting for families to enjoy. Plenty of sleeping accommodations and lots of seating areas. The yard is large enough for fun games. The shallow water is just right for young children. The fire pit area is spacious with a beautiful view of the sunset over the lake.

Lovely stay, beautiful view!

Prefect place to stay while in town visiting family. The house was great- bigger than we expected. Very comfortable. We loved the kayaks, sitting out on the deck, paddle boating, stunning views of the sunset - everything was just wonderful. Doug and Judy are fabulous hosts. We’ll definitely be back!

Girls weekend

We loved this property and Judy and Doug! They were so easy to work with and the house was perfect. Lots of room, easy space to hang out together or alone, and everything was cean and tidy.

Exceeded our expectations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake side cottage. The view was beautiful, the owners communicated with us well, and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, dishes, and silverware. I had assumed that the “common area” queen bed would be a sofa bed in the living room. It’s actually a queen bed in an alcove off the living room with a privacy screen available. A highlight for me was kayaking on the lake in the mornings and evenings when it was perfectly smooth and quiet. Beautiful! The sun sets across the lake from the cottage. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place for any family getaway

We were looking for a place for my family to stay on a lake near the MSU area. This house exceeded our expectations in all ways. From the checkin, cleanliness, and location we couldn’t have been more pleased. The house was well stocked and my family really enjoyed our time on the lake. I would highly recommend and we hope to plan a return visit.

quiet lake

We had such a relaxing weekend on this quiet lake. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, reading and some wonderful time together around the fire. The cottage was perfect and had everything we could need. Judy and Doug put a lot of thought into making our stay perfect, from the snack basket to the hotel size shampoo & body wash. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage.

Great place

Had fun enjoying the cottage and lake, from ages of 13 to 75+. The place was clean and comfortable with many thoughtful details. We especially appreciated ac units in the bedrooms upstairs as it was a hot few days. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and kayaks and the downstairs bedroom area was great for our older guests as the stairs up to second level are a bit steep

Volleyball camp retreat

Absolutely relaxing weekend! We were searching for a place to stay that would be relaxing for us while our girls were at volleyball camp at MSU and a place for the teens to have fun and relax after 7 hours of volleyball. We kayaked, swam, read on the deck, had a campfire at night. We met the owners and got to tour their property next store. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting!

My husband and I stayed here with some friends and our two babies for a summer wedding in the area. The property was super clean and welcoming and you just can’t beat the view of the lake! The owners Judy and Doug are so friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great location to our daughters wedding venue at peacock farms. Had a blast as we rented both property cabins. Lake was way down but great veiws.
