We prioritize a simple, comfort focused design! Enjoy three private bedrooms plush King and Queen beds, an open-concept living area built for socializing, and an oversized private backyard that is a rare find this close to the city center.
The space This home offers a spacious, clean-lined getaway designed for groups who want to be near the heart of Dallas without feeling cramped. Unlike many short-term rentals that pack rooms with extra beds, the layout here focuses on a simple, calming design that gives everyone room to breathe. The ground floor is built for spending time together, featuring an open living and dining area with a 75-inch TV and a large sectional couch. The large windows invite tons of natural light into the open living / dinning space. The kitchen is centered around a massive quartz island with seating for four, and it comes fully stocked with everything you need, from a Keurig coffee station to a stainless steel gas stove.
The bedrooms are arranged to provide actual privacy. On the ground floor, there is a queen bedroom for those who want to avoid the stairs, while the rest of the rooms are located on the second floor. The primary suite is particularly large, featuring a king bed, its own 65-inch TV, and a bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Two other upstairs rooms—one with a king bed and one with two queens—offer flexible space for families or colleagues. If you are sensitive to light, the street-facing bedrooms include blackout curtains to help with a solid night’s sleep.
One of the standout features is the oversized private backyard. It is fully fenced and offers a level of outdoor space that is very hard to find this close to downtown. For those driving in, you’ll have full use of the two-car garage, which provides a secure place to park and easy access into the house. We have also installed a monitored security system that guests can use, alongside custom keyless entry codes that we rotate after every stay for your peace of mind.
The location is a major plus for anyone heading to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, the Farmers Market, or the nightlife in Bishop Arts and Trinity Groves—all are within about a ten-minute drive. You can also reach AT&T Stadium in 25 minutes or Fort Worth in 40. Because this is a central urban neighborhood that is quickly redeveloping, you will notice the typical trade-offs of city life, such as some street noise or unhoused neighbors nearby. However, the home’s security features and private setup make it a comfortable, functional home base for exploring the city.
Guest access This home has a two car garage and a four car driveway. The home sits on a corner lot and additional street parking can be found on the side of the home. Please DO NOT block the neighbor's driveway or park in front of their homes as there may be fines and possible towing for parking violations. You will have complete private access to the house, backyard, and garage. The only areas of the house that are off-limits is the attic and the supply closet near the front of the house with the smart lock.
Other things to note Located in South Dallas, this home is in close proximity to everything in Dallas making ride-share apps more affordable! Our home is very convenient and located on a main st for easy access to the city. The area is in a quickly up and coming area so guests who prefer a suburban location may want to look further outside the city. Because we are in the heart of the city, you may encounter typical urban elements like city noise or members of the unhoused community. We provide a high-end security system and a fully fenced backyard so you can enjoy the Dallas lifestyle with total confidence.
Unauthorized parties are not allowed at my property - this includes open invite parties or events primarily after 11:00 pm. Certain events such as wedding-related events, dinners, work events, family gatherings, or wedding/baby showers are allowed, but these must be approved before your reservation. Any noise complaints from neighbors or police visits will result in a $250 fine for each occurrence. Please follow the rules to make your stay as enjoyable and as stress-free as possible.

Broken Appliances and GAS LEAK!!!!
This unit is not safe to rent. There is a gas leak that the owner couldn't be bothered to address.
Several kitchen appliances were broken and the communication from the property manager was terrible. The oven has a gas leak, so whenever it is turned on it fills the house with gas. (It heats, but it also leaks gas into the house all the while....) The owner didn't seem to care, and didn't believe us when we reported it. This is an unsafe, potentially deadly hazard, and the owner didn't bother to do anything when we reported it!
Also, the the dishwasher didn't work, and after days of trying (and looking up the owners manual online) and after several messages to the owner, still nothing was done.
The house is new, and it is beautiful. And it was clean. But the owner seems to have tried to save money by using broken or second-hand appliances (refrigerator is dented, clothes dryer is rusted, etc.) and should have AT LEAST done some safety testing before ever putting this up for rental. We asked for a partial refund due to the conditions and didn't get it. So just don't rent this house until they bring it up to minimum safety standards.
