In response to this guest, the individuals were the Town of Old Lyme surveying for upcoming city water sewer installs. The guest had contacted the owners and the owners assured the guest they would look into the matter. As noted, it was town officials reviewing all neighborhood properties for sewer placements. As far as doing more than what is required by a guest as noted by this individual, the owners never asked the guest to do anything or clean up. We only ask for that guest respect the property as if it were their own. There is a cleaning service and the internal doors are being replaced to remedy the situation in the future. All guests who are making a reservation are aware of the rules and prices while the guest is searching properties prior to making a reservation at any VRBO property. A guest handbook is provided at the home for all guests as any VRBO owner provides for transparency. The owners never spoke to this guest in a rude manner. This property is on target for the going rate during summer season within the neighborhood and surrounding areas. This property offers private beach access where other properties do not.
