This house was perfect for our stay in Poipu for a variety of reasons, but most of all, it felt like staying in a cozy beachside home, rather than just a rental. The house was well-appointed, and the location was ideal - halfway between shipwreck beach and poipu beach, it was easily walkable to beaches, local shopping / cafes, and nearby sights. The views were lovely - the first afternoon we saw whales from the balcony, as it was whale migration season (wished we had binoculars). Split AC units in each room was a plus. The host posted detailed instructions for all the appliances (including pictures), and was very diligent about checking in, so even though everything went smoothly, had anything gone amiss, support was close at hand.

Phenomenal

The house was perfect for us. The views of the ocean were phenomenal and the house had lots of room for our whole family. It's our favorite rental thus far!

Great stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The young kids loved the nearby beach as well as the athletic club pool. The adults loved the nearby oceanfront walking trail and house views from the patio. Also appreciated the very well stocked kitchen

Great property with a gray location and awesome views

What a great location and a wonderful property! The property had everything we needed with an amazing view of the ocean, including sunrises. My whole family would recommend this vacation home and would love to come back soon

"The Blue House is so cool" -- C., age 3

We love the Blue House! Comfortable and spacious for 6 adults and 2 small children. Well equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation! Spectacular 180 degree plus ocean views, 5 minute walk to cliff lookout, 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to beach. One of our favorites!

Hidden Paradise In Plain Sight

The home couldn’t have been more centrally located or beautifully positioned! From the top floor you have a perfect view of the ocean, and are mere minutes away from the best beaches on the south side of the island. The kids loved playing in the backyard, and had more than enough beach toys supplied to play with. The kitchen is stocked, the towels were plenty, and the rooms were so comfortable. This was the best home we’ve ever rented and can’t wait to rent it again.

Great Family Retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. It was everything as advertised and everything we needed. Traveling with 2 babies under 2 is always challenging but having plenty of room, being close to the beach for midday naps, and all the amenities really made it so relaxing. We took full advantage of the Athletic Club, too. Many Thanks!! We hope to return again soon!

Amazing trip!

We spent 10 awesome days in paradise. The house was perfect for ourselves and our 2 adult sons. It was stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. There were a lot of "extras", like laundry supplies and storage bags, foil, napkins etc. We enjoyed eating amazing food out and also using the well stocked kitchen to enjoy eating at home. We really appreciate how accommodating and helpful Ria was. Thank you for the beautiful tropical flower arrangement and bowl of local goodies you provided for our arrival.

A lovely Poipu Beach House

Our family just stayed at this home for 8 nights and it was lovely! The home is just as advertised - in a residential Poipu neighborhood, walking distance to Shipwreck and Brenneke beaches, and a lovely view of the ocean from the upper level and deck. We loved the access to the Poipu Athletic Club...nice open air workout facilities, pickleball courts, a lovely pool, and on site restaurant with very good food. The layout of the home was good for our family, as we had our adult kids with us and they could spread out downstairs. The kitchen is well-equipped - we love to cook - so we were happy that we had everything we needed! Ria, the homeowner, was thoughtful and gracious throughout the booking process, as well as during and after our stay. We appreciated walking in to a beautiful vase of Hawaiian flowers, along with coffee and tea and chocolates...a very nice touch! We also appreciated her welcome "book", which included info, tips and recommendations for where to go during our stay. All in all, a wonderful week in paradise. Mahalo, and you can't go wrong in booking the Poipu Beach Retreat!

Fabulous Property, Fabulous Stay

We had a fabulous vacation at this home in Poipu. Our visit was a little under two weeks. The home has two lanais, one on each level, and the upper one has a great view out to the ocean, including beautiful sunrise views every morning. We arrived to find the home extremely clean and the kitchen extremely well stocked . While the property is near numerous wonderful restaurants and food trucks, we also greatly appreciated the kitchen. It has a fabulous range as well as all of the other small appliances and utensils that your family might need. The split A/C system is easy to use and works great, ensuring that you'll have cool when you want it. Finally, Ria was very communicative, promptly answering all of my questions prior to arrival (invaluable when planning a family getaway!) and ensuring that we had everything that we needed throughout our stay. Location, views, amenities, communication. This property met all of our high expectations. We would happily stay again! Me ka mahalo nui, Todd

Wonderful Rental Makes Vacation Even More Special

Everything about this house, the view of the ocean, the location, and the host were perfect. All the rooms were clean and neat. The host left specific instructions on how to work things like the AC which were very helpful. The house is within walking distance of the beach and hiking paths. The neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic. Driving is very manageable. The kitchen was large and well stocked with basics and had nice appliances that all worked. A large dining table near the kitchen and one outside on the covered patio both were large enough for all 8 of us. This main patio also had chairs and a sofa for relaxing. The view was so pretty that this spot was everyone’s favorite place to relax. Along with the main patio, a second patio is right off the family room downstairs. Family rooms on both floors made it feel like the kids had their own rec room for video games separate from the main family room which they loved. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very comfortable and well supplied. Ria, our host, helped me find interesting activities and hikes in the area. She even had helpful travel books and brochures at the house. Along with all the activities Poipu has to offer, the Poipu Athletic Club’s pool and slide were a star attraction for the kids. The Club’s restaurant has food we all enjoyed. We had been hesitant to take a family trip together before this one. This beautiful house was perfect and helped to make the trip a huge success.

My husband and I searched for a house for about two years until we found this house. The ocean views, central location, and quiet neighborhood sold us. It is walkable to Poipu Beach and Shipwrecks Beach and several restaurants. The location is residential but close to Hyatt Hotel and other 4-star hotels.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The location is awesome with walkability to beaches and restaurants. Sunrise ocean views from the upstairs and downstairs living areas are memorable. Having two living areas is great for families or multiple couples. The large lot with parking and a great backyard grassy area for outdoor play is pleasantly rare for the Poipu area. As our guests, you will have free full access to PBAC (Poipu Beach Athletic Club) which includes resort swimming pool with slides, USTA tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts and a full gym.
