This is a clean, modern 3 bedroom & 2 bathroom home with a splash of luxury and modern flair. After an adventurous day exploring the red rocks, return home to a serene and relaxing retreat. Soak in the hot tub with lighted gazebo, BBQ steaks on the outdoor grill, enjoy the sunset unwinding near the firepit or playing one of many board games.

LOCATION: The house is located in Village of Oak Creek (unincorporated area of Sedona), which has cute boutique shops, great restaurants and Clark's Market (grocery store - just 1 mile away). You are removed from the traffic and crowds of Uptown and West Sedona, allowing you to unwind and relax after a long day out enjoying the Red Rocks. Golf courses nearby, as well as several great local hiking trails: Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte. Local wineries near Cornville are 20 mins away.

UPSTAIRS: Private Primary Suite! King-size bed with patio sliders to your own private upper level balcony with outdoor seating and propane firepit. Great views - this room even has a telescope for star-gazing! Retreat inside for a warm bath in the soaking tub or catching up on your favorite shows on the 65" Smart TV or relaxing to music from Alexa. Primary bathroom has double vanity sinks, lighted mirror, rain shower, W/C and walk-in closet.

MAIN FLOOR: Living Area - 85ā€ Smart TV, electric fireplace, comfy sectional sofa, tabletop arcade game, patio sliders to the outdoor Trex deck. Board games, giant Connect 4 and giant Jenga games provided for a relaxing night of family fun!

Bedroom 1 - Queen bed, 43ā€ Smart TV, vaulted ceilings with views out front. Sore to private side patio with lunge seating to enjoy a cup of coffee or a page-turning book!

Bedroom 2 - 2 Twin beds that look out to the side of the home. It also has vaulted high ceilings and a 55" TV.

Main Floor Bathroom - Double vanity sinks, a toilet seat warmer/bidet and a tub/shower combo. All bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, towels and hair dryer provided.

Kitchen - toaster, toaster oven, microwave, induction stovetop, oil/cooking spices, drip coffee maker, bean grinder, Keurig coffee maker, coffee pods/cream/sugars, pots/pans, blender.

Laundry room - Full size front-load washer and dryer. Detergent, dryer sheets, stain spray provided. Swiffer mop, broom and first-aid kit. Vacuum cleaner located in garage.

OUTDOORS: The backyard area has outdoor sectional seating, propane firepit, dining table, BBQ grill and a hot tub under an LED-lighted gazebo! Once youā€™re back from exploring for the day, hop into the hot tub and let the jets take away all the aches and pain. You might even see some javelinas meandering down the hill through the backyard in the early morning!

GARAGE: Room for 1 car. No ATVs, RVs, trailers allowed. There are 4 bikes available (3 adult bikes and 1 youth mountain bike).

Sedona is a Dark Sky community, so there will be minimal outdoor lighting at night. Star-gazing is beautiful in Sedona

There are a few bikes, helmets and bike locks available for guest use. Host does not guarantee usage during stay. Guest will be held liable for any damage or missing bikes. Guest agrees to not hold the owners of the home liable should any injury occur while riding the bikes.

HOUSE RULES:
By booking the Sedona Sweet Retreat, you are agreeing to have read, accept and agree to follow all house rules. Violation of any of the house rules may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund.

Please keep in mind that this is our family's cherished 2nd home. House rules are in place for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

(1) No parties/events. This is in accordance to Airbnbā€™s policy and local Sedona ordinances. (2) No animals/pets. An additional $500 fee will be charged if an animal/pet is discovered on premise. (3) No smoking of any kind indoors and outdoors. (4) Max # Occupancy: 6 guests (Additional guests/visitors require prior approval by owner. ) (5) There are 4 security cameras on premise : doorbell camera, driveway, garage, yard. No cameras are to be covered or tampered with.

The home was beautiful and fully stocked. Loved having all of the amenities. The lights were a little confusing, even though they were labled, could not get some overhead lights turned on. The Queen matress on main level was too firm for a comfortable nights sleep, and had to move to the couch. Also, there were multiple large spiders in that same room, which made the space uncomfortable to sleep in. The neighborhood was quiet with amazing views. Did not realize commute to downtown Sadona was 20 min per direction, when booking, but still very beautiful.

Definitely a sweet retreat

The home and furnishings were beautiful. This was a great location, close to Bell and Cathedral Rocks and quieter than downtown Sedona. We loved coming back to the hot tub and lovely home. We would definitely stay again.

How sweet it is

Our stay at Sedona Sweet Retreat was top notch! The host was always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We traveled to Sedona for a girls trip and we had an amazing time. Great location and nice neighborhood. The house had all the comforts of home with all the essentials. Very clean, comfortable beds and relaxing atmosphere. You will not be disappointed staying here. If we ever return to Sedona, we would definitely love to stay there again.

A wonderful place

We fully enjoyed our stay in Sedona. We liked the location well, great view. Quiet. Everything we needed was 5 minutes away. The house was clean, the views amazing. Well equipped kitchen, our teenagers loved the arcade games. The hot tub was clean and well maintained- loved the little LEDs around it. The beds were comfortable. All together a great place to stay.

Spring Break 2024

When our son and his girlfriend were freshman in college in 2020 we rented a house in Sedona for spring break. Now they are graduating seniors and we took them back. Had a wonderful time together. The property is superb we enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend. Perfect location to everything Sedona has to offer. The hot tub is a much added bonus for those chilly nights.

Simply Gorgeous!

My wife and I stayed at this property for a much needed getaway. This was EXACTLY what we needed. Situated in a very quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to Sedona to shop/eat etc. The view is amazing, the hot tub, the balcony, the firepits, and the arcade! I dare anyone to try and beat our scores on Time Pilot! Lol We had a blast. I would one hundred and ten percent book this property again.

Swan song in Sedona

We rented 3 places in Sedona this past trip. This place is a fabulous family built home. The Tech package was awesome. 85" TV was fabulous. Kitchen fabulous. Truly set up for a family iwth the toys and old school video games. Not the views of the Red Rocks directly, but, you just need to take a 2 minute drive into town and there they are. Well built home. Close to town. Very quiet location. 5 Stars. Thank you.

Great location out of the hustle of touristy Sedona

If you are looking for close proximity to Sedona without being in the center of the traffic and chaos that can occur in downtown Sedona, then this is it. It is relatively peaceful and quiet in oak creek area, but still within proximity to Sedona. Just a quick drive (less than 10 minutes) gets you to a grocery store (Clarkā€™s), a fantastic Mexican restaurant (Torta de fuego), a breakfast place for early morning/Sunday brunch (Red rock cafe); these are all just a few minutes from the location. If you want a getaway, you could survive in oak creek without heading into the main Sedona area. The house is tranquil enough that you might not want to venture too far. Great for a couple with kids, or a couple sets of adults. There is a hot tub to rest your bones after hiking or biking, or a relaxing evening. You have a glass gas fire table in the main floor outside dining area which is lovely for keeping warm and keeping the bugs at bay. Tired downstairs, go upstairs to the upper balcony fire table and enjoy the night sky while relaxing steps from your bed. Master bedroom has a roomy shower with adjustable temperature controls and extra nozzles for getting all those achy muscles. If that still isnā€™t enough there is a big soaking tub to rest and take in the night sky from the window off the balcony. The master bedroom has a comfy bed, and beautiful views day/night. Stacy includes a telescope where you can see the stars or the main road with how high powered it is. It is a nice addition for those interested in the night sky. Another great addition is the arcade game, I think it has something over 400 games on it! I know I spent a few evenings making some top scores lol! We also loved the ice maker, we were able to make enough ice before we left to fill our cooler for our trip back home, and even leave some for the next guests. The stay was tranquil and relaxing, thanks Stacy for a relaxing rental.

Beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay. Waking up to views of hot air balloons floating over the red rocks was amazing! Our family enjoyed the large kitchen for our Thanksgiving dinner. We also appreciated the communication when we had questions. We would recommend!

Amazing property!

This is such a wonderful house for friends or family. Great amenities and sitting areas in back, front, and second floor deck. Anything you need is there. We played all the games, looked at the night sky, and relaxed in the comfy couch. Seriously a must stay home if you are looking for an incredible time. Canā€™t wait to return!

Fantastic Getaway!

Went on a girls trip to Sedona for my 40th birthday. This house was perfect! Clean, large, well stocked and completely updated. The jacuzzi on the patio was fantastic! Easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend!!!

Clean great location for hiking

We really liked being out of the downtown Sedona busy area and in a quiet neighborhood. House had everything we needed except a hair dryer in the second bathroom. Close to a lot of the hikes in Sedona. I recommend juniper for a drink with a view close by. Screen door downstairs and the bathroom door in the master bedroom need some help, but it didnā€™t make our trip any less enjoyable! Couldnā€™t get firepits to stay lit, might have been wind or low propane. We would definitely come back!

Great house!

Family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights, kids ages 10-13. The house is laid out perfectly with a very large/open family room and kitchen and everything labeled. High end appliances throughout, ice maker on the counter, and a huge TV. The hot tub was also very clean and well maintained. I was a little concerned initially about being too far outside of uptown Sedona, but I preferred it. There are restaurants, coffee, gas stations, and grocery stores very close to the house so avoid Sedona traffic. We also found there were plenty of trails that were between the house and uptown Sedona, so we avoided traffic there as well. Everything was perfect.....only thing that's tricky is the keypad on the front door lock when you arrive!

Wonderful

This was a great property for our family of five! We loved the location because it was just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Sedona, to get the peacefulness we were looking for a family vacation. The place was awesome and everything was high end. The beds were comfortable so everyone was able to get a good nights sleep! We would definitely go back!!

Sedona get away

We enjoyed the property a lot. It had plenty of space for our family and the kitchen had everything you need to prepare dinner. It was a quite spot with a great view of Sedona. Plenty of out door seating to kickback on. Stacy the host was quick to respond to all of our questions which was awesome!
