In the immediate vicinity is the Agger River, along which various hiking trails lead and in the summer also for swimming or dinghy / canoeing or fishing invites. Only a few km away is the nature reserve Wahner Heide, the second largest and most species-rich nature reserve in North Rhine-Westphalia. Again, there are a number of different trails where you can explore the vast area.
