Enjoy this private lakefront living space on an all sports lake in Caledonia, Mi. Perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, or just enjoying the views. Whether you are traveling with family, in town for business, or reuniting with friends, You will enjoy peace, comfort and beauty as you experience lake living. Each season brings its own unique attribute. Fall is breath-taking as the trees around the lake reflect gorgeous colors. A perfect time for fires in the fire pit, or lazy afternoons reading in the screened in porch. Winter brings an amazing level of quietness as the snow and ice cover the lake and nature goes to sleep to replenish its energy. Spring is the time when new life bursts forth everywhere. We again enjoy beautiful color as trees and flowers bloom. And of course, summer is perfect in every way. Long days and plenty of activities….a perfect place to relax and recharge.

The lakeside of the suite has a patio that overlooks Duncan Lake. The patio contains outdoor eating amenities, as well as comfortable chairs to enjoy the view. We are up on a hill, and there is a beautiful winding stairway that brings you to the lakefront, where we enjoy 120 feet of frontage. It is an absolutely beautiful location on the lake. While sitting on the lakeside deck, you enjoy a western view with gorgeous sunsets and long views of the lake.

On the lake level, we have a screened in porch, a fire pit, plenty of seating, and various areas to relax with a book, sit quietly listening to nature, or chat with friends. We also have 2 kayaks, one paddle board, a floating dock in the water, and various other lake toys.

Inside the private guest suite, we have two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. There is also a well appointed kitchen with modern appliances, an eating area, one living area that overlooks the lake, and a second living area with a working fireplace. There is a pull out couch in this room. There is a dedicated workspace in the common area, as well as a small pub table and bar cart.

There is a public access on Duncan Lake, but at this time, we do not have extra storage on the property for personal boats. However, if we are heading out on the pontoon, we would be more than happy for you to join us.

Our house is very centrally located. We are located with easy access to nearby highways which quickly brings you to downtown Grand Rapids (which is 17 miles away). Grand Rapids has amazing restaurants, concert venues, and of course, breweries, since it is knows as “Beer City”. We are close to two colleges (Davenport and Cornerstone). We are also located very close to walking trails, state forests, and amazing local eateries.

*Note: owners occupy the main floor of the property, which is a two story home. The apartment is in the lower level. There is a locked door to our residence, so you can be assured of privacy. You have a private key to the entrance of the suite. The owners are adults, with no children. During the week, we rarely use the lake. Occasionally on the weekends.

There is one set of exterior stairs to get to the apartment. There are also stairs going to the lake. The stairs going to the lake are very shallow, but meander down the hillside. If you have physical limitations, this might not be the place for you.
