Private gated community with amazing view and 53 acres to roam!!

Vista Greystone is amazing with 3 bedrooms/ 3.5 baths, that sleep 8 plus a pull out sofa for two more guests. Streaming tvs with just about everything you could want, including Fall SEC football and plenty of channels for news, movies and sports!!

Complimentary wifi is also available and free!

You will love the view, the comfort and the peace and quiet. You can almost hear a pin drop in Jasper nearby.

Your hosts are Jim and Carolyn Ferguson, owners of Buckhorn Cabin Rentals and Property Management of Ellijay. Buckhorn Cabin Rentals is a Premier Host with vrbo and has maintained that distinction since starting the company five years ago. Service and hospitality come first. Jim, retired Realtor, is always personally available by phone or text pretty much 24 hours per day. Carolyn, retired teacher, is quality control and chief decorator for seasons and holidays.

You will feel right at home and possibly not want to leave! It is privacy at it’s best! You will also find everything you will need for a weekend, week or longer. Linens, paper products and all the privacy you need ! Note: There is one outside camera pointed at driveway for security purposes!

Gorgeous property!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It is laid out so well. Plenty of room for my two teens (upstairs) and my partner's adult son and his dog (walkout basement). Then, having our room on the main floor gave everyone the privacy they craved. The pictures do not even do this property justice! The view was incredible. When we arrived, my partner asked, "Is this how the other half lives?" I replied, "Yes." The owners thought of everything. All the details were on point - high quality mattress in the master, fluffy towels, fully stocked kitchen (minus groceries, of course), multi-level deck, so many cool board games, walking sticks for our hikes. Great communication with our host. I could go on and on. We will be back! Oh, and check out Amicalola Falls while in the area! Breathtaking!

Perfect house for us!

We loved this wonderful property! The 3 bedrooms on separate floors gave everyone privacy. The WiFi was great for evening streaming- which is not something to take for granted in the mountains. Taking our dogs along was so much better than other trips because there were lots of good walking spots right there, not too steep, plenty of space. We even had a big bear walk right up the path and up the driveway! The hosts were wonderful and responsive.

Peaceful Comfort

The view is amazing! The spaciousness of the cabin, the comfortable furniture and beds, the seating areas, the attention to detail (well-stocked kitchen, thick towels and little drinking cups in the bathrooms), the cleanliness, the reading nook, and the helpfulness of the property manager resulted in an enjoyable stay at Vista Greystone.

Beautiful Home & View

My family and I spend eight days at Vista Greystone Lodge. It is a beautiful home with an amazing view of the North Georgia mountains. Although there are other homes in the gated community, there are no homes directly around you. This is the perfect home for a getaway vacation. There was plenty of room for us and our extended family. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, pots, and appliances that we needed to host a family dinner. The hosts communicated with us quickly and checked in us with to see if we needed anything several times during our stay. Walmart, grocery stores, and restaurants are only a five minute drive from the home. We will definitely be back to stay at Vista Greystone Lodge.

Amazing view and Amazing Hosts

The house is beautiful and very clean. The pics of the view don’t do it justice. Sitting out on the deck at night watching the stars and listening to the cicadas sing was wonderful. The hosts are amazing and quickly answered any questions, plus was very helpful with local businesses. 5 star stay for sure.

Peaceful get away!

Our family of 5 stayed in this beautiful house over Memorial Day weekend for our nieces high school graduation. The house was immaculate and was extremely well stocked. The hosts were very responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. We also had our dog with us and loved how pet friendly the property was. The view was incredible and we loved relaxing on the porches. We also hiked down to the creek and had a great time exploring. We definitely would stay here again next time we're in the area.

Peace of heaven

Great views, very peaceful, very clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had prior to arrival and during our stay. We didn't get the chance to hike the trail behind the cabin, but I believe we heard a water fall . Definitely recommend staying here. We will!!

Enjoyed our stay

Nice property, lots of room. Nice views too. We didn’t spend much time there due to being on the go so much and getting in late. There are some wood steps that lead down the hill from the back of the home but watch your step if you use them. They need a little repair. But I don’t recommend that hill either if it’s covered with leaves like during our stay; they make it hazardous and easy to slide. Jasper is close by and has anything you need. The water pressure isn’t the greatest I guess for being up the hill but sufficient. Great home with three levels for families to spread out. Next closest home is a bit away so you have privacy and it’s pretty quiet. Nice stay :)

Wonderful view!

This cabin is perfect for a stay near Elijay. It's older but still has plenty of charm and a gorgeous view. The cabin was well stocked and offered plenty of entertainment for the kids.

What A View!!

Cozy home away from home 💕 Secluded & perfect for a two week get away to recharge the batteries and be one with nature. My dogs and I loved the walks up & down the mountain. Property manager Jim was excellent from excellent communication, availability to handle some handyman items and overall friendliness! Would absolutely rent this home again from Jim!
