This unit is located on the northwestern coast of the beautiful island of St. Lucia in the village of Marisule which is part of the wider town of Gros Islet. Marisule is centrally located almost midway between the capital city of Castries and the central town of Gros Islet. Which makes it easily accessible to the many restaurants, duty free shops and the many beautiful beaches located along the northwestern coast line, all within a 10 to 15 minute drive away.

Just a five minute walk will get you to the warm waters of the Caribbean sea, supermarkets and public transportation.

The unit is ideally located for guest who are interested in visiting to attend international cricket matches. Matches which are hosted by St. Lucia are held at the Beausejour cricket stadium in Gros Islet, which is within 10 to 15 minutes drive of the unit.

The annual St. Lucia Jazz festival is held within the first week of May each year, with main stage events being held at Pigeon Island in Gros Islet approx. 15 to 20 minutes drive from the unit.

So if you are coming for any one of these activities or any other activities such as sight seeing or water sports, you will be strategically placed to take advantage of all. Please note there are 2 units and you may not necessarily get the exact unit shown in the photos because the decor may have been updated or the unit may not be available due to unforeseen circumstances.

Excellent

Both Clarence and Margaret are fantastic hosts and easy to communicate with. They are both very kind. They are very quick to answer any questions or concerns. The Apt was very clean. There is a lovely covered balcony to sit on. There is construction of a building going on directly in front of the balcony. You still have a nice view of the ocean if you look to the right. There is a flight of stairs to get into the Apt. Mini buses are easy to access to go to Rodney Bay and Castries.You can walk to 2 grocery stores and there are a few restaurants within a short distance. We had an enjoyable holiday.

Our stay

Was nice . Lots of traffic in the area . Morning and afternoon , going to Rodney bay is 45 min to an hour each way with traffic .. not the hosts fault just an observation of current traffic conditions , lots of stairs . Walk down then up stairs . Done loud noise on the road way. Driveway was busy parking . Bed was comfortable,host was very friendly and responsive . Ac was ok in the bedroom but you need to use fan to blow into living room. Good location shame about the traffic. Unit was clean and functional .

Sunsets every night

We were met by our hosts Clarence and Margaret and shown our 1 bedroom apartment over looking the Caribbean Sea at the back of the property. It was incredible from the first night to the last night, 84 sunsets in a row. Breathtaking views everyday from the balcony! It was a well appointed, clean apartment with a comfortable queen bed and large shower. The kitchen had everything you need for 2 weeks or 3 months. For dining, a local restaurant was a 15 min walk away with excellent food. The local grocery store was a 10 minute walk away that provided most of what we needed. Marisule beach, the local beach was a 5 min walk from the apartment and very quiet. We were really by our selves most days. The local bus stop to Rodney Bay and Castries was just a short walk down from our apartment. Buses were a very inexpensive way to get around, usually for less than $1.00 each. Roads were a little busy at times. Rodney Bay was a 10 min bus ride with most services available from banking to a beautiful panoramic beach. Great local bars and restaurants. In summary we wanted a place we could live like locals, a bit rustic but had lots of the local charm. I think our expectations were exceeded as we wished we could have stayed another month. Our hosts were very gracious, treated us to a barbecue they prepared and were always available when we asked questions or needed advice. An exceptional stay! If we returned to St Lucia we would definitely rent this apartment again.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful Stay and the ocean just down over the hill made swimming everyday a must. Clarence was extremely attentive to anything required and a bonus to my stay there. Close to the local transportation routes it was perfect.

Great place to stay

This apartment is exactly as described. The view is breath taking. The location is very convenient. We did not rent a car, but that was fine because you can hop on a public bus at any time and go anywhere, very easily. The bus system in St. Lucia is very reliable, quick and easy to access from the apartment. The apartment is fully furnished and has everything you would need to prepare meals (pots, pans...). There is a grocery store within walking distance. The property owner was very pleasant and accommodating, and communication with him was great. I highly recommend this apartment. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful convenient location

The apartment was very clean and the view was phenomenal. It was nice that we could walk to a quiet beach or take the bus to town. Hot water was not consistent and WiFi came in and out. The most spectacular part was New Years Eve, my husband was not feeling well so we stayed in but got to enjoy the fireworks from the porch. So special.

Convenient, Clean, Comfortable with Great View

The apartment is very convenient to Rodney Bay and Rodney Bay Marina and it had a lovely view with it's own neighborhood beach. The hosts were very helpful and easy to work with. It is not fancy, but it had everything we needed, was very clean and a great value. The initial time you pull into the driveway to the closed gate could be intimidating, but it turned out to be easy and not a problem. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

It was great, easy access to the beach, shopping and the bus system.

I love the place, it was nice with an awesome view of the sea. Easy access to the main road and the bus system. Clarence was very nice. He took us grocery shopping. The location is perfect. Not to far from the city and also close enough to Rodney Bay, where it's the place to be. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

View is amazing!!! Centrally located to buses so you can get anywhere.

My husband and I came here on vacation and absolutely loved it. Five minute walk to beach....where there was maybe one other person there and it felt like your own private beach. Less than one minute walk to bus stop which takes you anywhere on the island and saves you tons of money because you don't have to take a taxi everywhere. Clarence, the owner, is very nice and accommodating. Our apartment had a full kitchen, which was good because we were able to buy drinks and keep cold in fridge and take them with us. The living room had plenty of seating and a flat screen tv, bathroom had everything you need including washing machine and bedroom was comfortable. Decor was outdated and not as fancy as resorts but worked for us. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and would come back anytime.

Comfy and Clean w/ a Beautiful View

My boyfriend and I had a great time spending just over a week at Clarence and Margaret's. The house is located away from the crowds w/ a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a beach you can walk to down the alley from their house, or it's easy to access areas like Rodney Bay or Gros Islet by bus (closest bus stop in either direction is a 2-3 minute walk). If you choose to walk, Rodney Bay is about an hour away, Choc Beach is in the opposite direction and is a 25-30 min walk. The house is very close to the word "Corinth" on Google Maps. Please be aware that if you intend to walk there are no real sidewalks and sometimes you'll be walking very close to the road. This wasn't a problem for us but it may be relevant to some. Another thing we liked about the apartment itself is all the amenities that were provided including a coffee maker, microwave, stove/oven.. etc. When we arrived, Margaret greeted us and showed us the room where there were fresh fruits and snacks waiting for us. On our first night Clarence drove us to the Rodney Bay area to pick up some groceries, and gave us a short tour of that area. Clarence also drove us to the Gros Islet party on Friday night. To those it may concern, the wifi is spotty but functional most of the time. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom works great but without the fan being placed by the bedroom door it doesn't really disperse too well into the living area. Again, these were non-issues for us, but may be relevant information to others. All in all it was an outstanding stay, and if/when we're lucky enough to make it back to St. Lucia, we would definitely stay here again.

The owners of this property Clarence and Margaret were the most helpful hosted you could wish for. Their apartments are spotlessly clean and superbly situated within walking distance of a beautiful little beach and so handy for all the public transport. Clarence also has a rental car available which is very good value. Saying that he picked us up and returned us to the airport as a complimentary gesture completely unexpected. We would highly recommend this apartment unreservedly.. Barrie and Anne Feb 17

Amazing and perfect in every way!

Clarence is a great guy! He was helpful from the time of reservation and all the way until our departure from the island. He picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. His amazing wife made it a point to meet us on the day of our arrival. During his spare time he took us to the malls and tour of the island. We never got to rent a car. A call to him would help you if you need to know about restaurants or bars. He even helped us buy grocery and essentials. Rooms are okay for the price you pay, basic but completely furnished. Wifi is available but weak. He is planning to fix it. You have a grocery store within walking distance. I would recommend his apartments for singles and couples or group of two. We were there to watch a cricket match and it was worth it. For those who plan to drive make sure you call him and try to get a prepaid cellphone. In St Lucia most homes do not have a street address and difficult to locate on GPS.

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time staying at this apartment. We were there for a week, and we couldn't be happier that we decided to stay here instead of getting a hotel or staying at a resort. The location is incredibly convenient -- there are multiple beaches within walking distance, and public transportation stops are just down the street, making it easy to get to Rodney Bay, Pigeon Island, or anywhere else. Clarence was incredibly nice and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Thanks again, Clarence!

Very nice stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment. The place is very clean and comfortable with a magnificent sea view. It is in a good location, next to the public transportation so you can visit easily Rodney Bay/Gros Islet and Castries and can walk to a nice small beach. Clarence and his wife were very nice and accommodating. Our friend needed to come back to St-Lucia and stay 2 more days in the apartment and Clarence was kind enough to pick him up to the airport. Thanks again Clarence, we really appreciate. We definitely recommend this place.

Comfortable, Convenient

My husband & I spent our 30th anniversary in this little gem! 11 nights we were able to be there, and it was worth every penny. Because I knew the island prior to arrival, I was concerned the road close to it would be too noisy, but it wasn't. The photos do not do it justice, except for the photos from the porch. Every morning and evening we watched sailboats go by! Because there was AC, our sleeping was good. Very clean & comfortable, and the owners very accommodating. Cooking our own meals in the well-stocked kitchen was a plus for us, too, and having our evening meals on the covered porch was excellent. You won't be disappointed!

Affortable St.Lucia

We stayed for 9 days in this apartment and we were nicely impressed by the hospitality of Clarence and Margaret and people of St.Lucia in general. The place is a good spot for discovering the island. It's close to Rodney Bay with many opportunities over there, to Pigeon Island NP and to Castries. The local beach is charming by its solitude and wildness. The view of the island and Caribbean See from the balcony of the apartment is really magnificent. We enjoyed St. Lucia every single day thanks to Clarence and Margaret who helped us get sightseeing tours around the island and took us to famous Jump-up party in Gross Islet. Olga & Mike.

Excellent! Felt like home away from home...

After searching for a good, affordable place to stay, we came across this listing and decided to stay here and overall we think it was a good decision. Clarence and his wife were great hosts and everything about the apartment was as advertised and more than we expected even. It's in a good location which makes it easily accessible to Rodney Bay or Castries town. If you do not have a car, it's easy to get a public bus, but if you do then parking is not a problem. The beach is only a short walk away, which is always great. I would recommend anyone visiting or local to stay at this apartment. Thanks to Clarence and his wife for the great accommodation!

A piece of paradise

My husband and I spent a month in this apartment over the Christmas holidays. It was our first time in St. Lucia and it was an absolutely incredible adventure. From the moment Clarence met us at Vigie airport, we felt welcome and comfortable. He and his wife went above and way beyond what we expected of our hosts. They showed us parts of the island that we would have never found on our own and shared their culture with us. We will never forget the sorel and the roti and our adventure to the rum factory. The Friday night jump-up in Gros Islet and the tour of Cap Estate will never be forgotten, as well. The view from the balcony is one of the best in St. Lucia. The apartment was clean and comfortable and looked exactly like the pictures. The local bus service is convenient and inexpensive and all the St. Lucians we encountered were exceptionally polite and friendly. It is a very civilized and gentle island and we always felt very safe. We had access to all the wonderful beaches which are public. It was easy to travel to all parts of the island because the apartment is conveniently located on the main road between Castries and Rodney Bay. Either town is less than 60 cents away! We are delighted that we stayed here rather than at a hotel. We didn't just visit St. Lucia, we LIVED here!

Fantastic Cozy Cottage

The panaramic ocean view was breathtaking. Everything is spotlessly clean and I was so impressed that mid week Margaret cleaned. Clarence was the best host and told me all to do. He even drove me into town to show me around the night I got there. I would highly recommend this lovely home to everyone. Favorite restaurants were the Claude and the Dolphin. Thank you for a very affordable and comfortable home.

I love the beach and with the Marisule beach within 5 minutes walk from my home its very easy for me and my family to enjoy it at anytime. Reduit beach, Pigeon point beach and many other beaches are within 10 to 15 minutes drive away. I also find that its relatively easy for me to access the City of Castries when i need to and other amenities are within close proximity. St. Lucia is a very beautiful island and provides a wide variety of activities for one to engage in.
