Situated at just a short walk from Gaudi's emblematic work in progress, the Sagrada Familia, this modern apartment is ideal for your family or group trip to Barcelona.

NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOCATION

The apartment is located in the historic Eixample Dreta area, with modernista façades, terrace cafés and grand avenues leading to Gaudí’s famous Sagrada Familia cathedral or down to the Arc de Triomf and Barcelona’s beautiful city park.

Eixample Dreta is a scenic area to explore; with a leisurely stroll to Passeig de Gracia or into the trendy El Borne barrio. In just a short stroll through these beautiful streets you will arrive right at the centre, the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, Ramblas boulevard, Plaza Catalunya and all of Barcelona's popular attractions. Nearby metro station: Tetuan (L2, purple line), Monumental (L2, purple line), Girona (L4, yellow line).

The Estació Nord bus station is located in this district and an abundance of public transports offer fast connections to Las Ramblas, El Gótico or the city beaches, in about 10 minutes.


LIVING AREA - In the lounge there is 1 sofa, chairs, lamp, side tables, audiovisual unit. Its dining suite has a table with seating for 5.

BED AND BATHROOM - The master bedroom has 1 designer queen size bed, night-tables, lamps and closet space. A second bedroom has 2 single beds, a chest of drawers and lots of natural light. The complete bathroom has a bath, shower, basin, bidet and WC.

KITCHEN - Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware, the kitchen is also fully equipped with: Electric cooker and oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster.

This apartment also includes: electric heater, hot/cold AC, washing machine and dryer, ironing equipment, hairdryer, bed linens and towels, TV/CD/DVD.

Cozy home; very convenient location

This cozy 2-bedroom apartment is located in a great location that is about 15-20 minutes walk to the major tourist attractions in Barcelona, such as Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gracia (where Casa Batllo and Casa Mila are), Plaza Catalunya, etc. There are also many eateries and supermarkets close by. This apartment is located on the 1st level that can be accessed by stairs and elevator. The owner is very friendly and personally waited for us when we arrived from the airport to welcome us. She also oriented us to the apartment and how to use the various appliances. Overall we had a great first-time visit to Barcelona!

Great Location, Great Host

Chelo was an amazing host. She was very accommodating, even with a later than expected arrival. She also met us upon departure and arrainged for a taxi to take us to the Sants strain station. The location of the unit was excellent. We walked to most locations around the city. For those less mobile, the nearest metro station is very close. We enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood looking for places to eat; Els Tres Sols (coffee/pastries), Casa Amalia (upscale dinner), Kserol (casual Tapas) for great food and incredibly welcoming owners who jokingly presented our Beef Cheek and Mashed Potato's as a Brownie with Cheese Cake; it looked identical. We really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona and will be sure to book with Chelo upon our return.

Great Experience in Barcelona

The property was quite clean, spacious and nicely located in the heart of Barcelona downtown. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. She went above and beyond an average property manager to accommodate our family. We strongly recommend this property if you plan to visit Barcelona.

Perfect location, comfortable stay!

This apartment was exactly what we needed. Centrally located, and far enough away from the hectic touristy streets to ensure a quiet night’s sleep. The neighborhood felt safe at night as well. There are restaurants all over the place, I recommend Viti Taberna just around the corner. It was one of the best places we ate at in Barcelona. Chelo was a fantastic host and was very helpful with the many questions we had. The apartment is as advertised. Although we didn’t cook any food there, the kitchen was well appointed. The beds were quite comfortable, as were the pillows. I’m a bit of a light sleeper and so this is a very important quality to have. I never heard the neighbors moving around, so the walls are soundproof enough. We were about a 15 minute walk to Sagrada Familia, 15 minutes to the Born and Gothic neighborhoods, and maybe a 20 minute walk to the Gracia neighborhood. It was very easy to get around. Overall I felt that this was a great value. And Chelo was terrific. I highly recommend this apartment. We will stay here again when we come to Barcelona next year. Thank you, Chelo!

Great apartment

The property is as described. It was perfect for me, my husband and our 11 year old daughter. We did lots of walking to tourist sights and found the location to be relatively central. There are lots of conveniences very close by - pharmacy, market, great restaurants and shops. It was nice to stay where people live and experience their way of life. Chelo was very responsive and wonderful to work with.

City center apartment affordable but not luxurious

Our stay in the apartment near Passeig de Gracia was not as central as we thought it would be to fun places to visit in Barcelona. It was affordable and convenient to Tetuan station and with the T casual pass we could get to within 15 min walking to most sights after a short metro ride. There are a few low cost things that could be done to improve the quality of the apartment. Newer, higher quality towels, bedding and a mattress pad would be nice. Higher quality silverware, toaster, coffee maker and other kitchen items would also make it a higher quality place. A minor repair to the vanity in the bathroom by fixing the door and corroded handle. The building and location was not quite as nice as we thought from the pictures. Overall, however, it was an affordable place to stay.

Good location

Close to bus and metro. Lots of coffee spots close by. Found a terrific sushi place. We went there twice. Space in open area to do our exercises. Nice view of older buildings across the street.

Chelo is a FANTASTIC host. She’s so helpful from the moment we booked until we checked out of her unit. The apartment is in a great location and the neighborhood is quite safe. It was well equipped and just the right size for our group of four. The only downside is the walls are kind of thin and we could hear the neighbors watching TV well into the night. Despite that we really enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again! If you are visiting Barcelona give this unit a look.

Perfect location

This is the perfect location to stay to walk to everything I wanted to see in the city. The only location that I wanted to see that was more than 1/2 hour walk was Montjuic. Lots of restaurants nearby. The apartment is very nice and comfortable too.

Great location for Gaudi fans.

Went to see all the major Gaudi works (and secondary ones). The apartment was great for the price, a bit spartan, but a good location for our activities. A real urban neighborhood with a mix of bars and restaurants. (I highly recommend Tortuga for dinner and Syra for coffee, both exceptional). If you want style and chic look elsewhere and be prepared to pay far more, but with the money you save you can always have lunch on the Majestic Hotel roof deck with a million dollar view of the city.

Great location

Chelo was very helpful from our first contact through checkout. She gave us advice about good places to eat & shop for food nearby. There was an extra room for our son to stay the night. We had a wonderful stay. Comfortable bed, warm shower, good air conditioning. Washing machine & dishwasher. Plus a great location for walking. It’s near restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, bars, museums, landmarks and the water.

Great apartment & location

Apartment was clean. Chelo was great laying out the area and different options; transit, shopping, grocery, etc. Very thorough and helpful once you get your bearings of the area. We love to walk, which is our main transportation in any city, but proximity to transit from the apartment was great to go to the beach, shopping district (if you didn't feel like walking), to the port or other sights. 100% recommend this property and Chelo was great!

Wonderful Stay in Barcelona!

I stayed at this property with my wife and teenaged daughter. We had a wonderful month-long stay in Barcelona, thanks to these great accommodations and excellent service from Chelo. The property is well situated, very clean and well appointed It's located in a safe neighborhood that is walking distance to most of the main sights. We had everything we needed for a few meals in and there are numerous restaurants, markets, coffee shops, etc., all within a couple blocks. Chelo is an attentive host, always on-call to provide in-person service, and provided lots of useful information for our visit. She took great care to explain the neighborhood, site, transit stops, grocery and restaurants on the block! We can't imagine a better place to stay in this wonderful city
