Carriage House No.10 is a lovely two bedroom, one and 1/2 bath, 1,380 square foot residence, perfect for couples. The property is suitable for up to four people. Our home is only one of a few very special Pinehurst homes featured in 'Golf Style: Homes and Collections Inspired by the Course and the Clubhouse', by Vicki Moon, 2010. It is also included on the National Register of Historic Places. And see what our guests are saying - our five-star reviews speak for themselves.

Comfortable and spacious, No. 10 makes up the entire second floor of the Carriage House with its own private front entrance. The sunny and open residence is reminiscent of an urban New York loft. With soaring ceilings in the living area, you are transported to an urban environment while enjoying the 1895 ambiance of the Village of Pinehurst. Recently decorated with an elegant and stylish 'chic' sophistication, this sunny residence will be sure to please. PLEASE NOTE: Being on the second floor means you will need to be able to navigate those steps coming and going.

Located in the center of the Historic District behind the well-known Palmetto House, the residence has a fabulous 'center of village' location, is two blocks from the Village, is a short stroll to the Pinehurst Resort and a three-minute walk to the Championship Pinehurst #2! Built in 1895 and recently updated to today's high standards, this lovely residence is available to rent to the discriminating traveler. NOTE: As the property was built over 100 years ago, the stairs to #10 are steep. Please be aware. Strongly recommend leaving golf clubs in locked car. The neighborhood is VERY secure.

The property boasts a full service kitchen, a master queen bedroom and full bath, a spacious guest bedroom with two twin beds, a half bath, granite and tile throughout, and a lovely eating area and living room perfect for entertaining. The residence also boasts large sunny windows with 10" deep window sills and plantation blinds.

The open kitchen/dining/living areas contain comfortable leather and upholstered seating, flat screen HDTV, Internet access, and other wood furnishings. Original artwork graces the walls. The views from the windows are of beautiful landscaping and the lovely pine, magnolia, and holly trees that make the area so special.

PLEASE NOTE: While we do not have a pool at our property, the Spa at Pinehurst does have access to their pool if you purchase other services like massage, etc. The Spa at Pinehurst is easily accessible (three-block walk or short drive) and our guests may purchase services directly at the Spa including pool areas, massage and other spa related amenities.

Great location

The little carriage house is situated within walking distance of shops and restaurants in the historic district of Pinehurst. We quite enjoyed our stay. The home is very clean and is as listed. Only issue, as we are older, is that the stairs are steep with narrow treads. Recommend.

Property was just as wonderful as described, pics may not have done it justice- very cozy. Disclosure on my negatives: needs a king bed- steep steps if anyone has problems climbing. Not really a problem yetšŸ˜„ Location in the Village cannot be better, a couple of blocks to restaurants & shopping. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Four Brothers Golf Trip

I have used VRBO several times and found the Carriage House in Pinehurst. More importantly I found the owner Linda. The Carriage House lived up to and exceeded the description and our expectations. The place is well appointed, clean and right where you want to be if you are playing golf or in for a relaxing getaway. One can walk for dinner, drinks or shopping in the Pinehurst Village. All the good places to eat, directions, things to do, clean well maintained nicely decorated home and tee times arranged for us...well like I said, I found Linda. Also you will find some tremendous art hanging on the wall by Linda's husband that is worth checking out. We will be arranging our next golf trip here again. Thanks Linda!!

Amazing Pinehurst Property

My husband, son and I were fortunate enough to recently spend 5 nights at the Carriage House. Linda and Guy were so welcoming, and the property was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful village of Pinehurst, between amazing rounds of golf at the local courses. Linda was really helpful in securing tee times for us, which we greatly appreciated. The Carriage House was immaculately presented, and well stocked with every essential. We enjoyed coming home (to our home away from home) at the end of a busy day and relaxing with a glass of wine while preparing a quick dinner in the gourmet kitchen. We would highly recommend the Carriage House to anyone visiting Pinehurst. Thankyou Linda and Guy. We really appreciate everything you did for us.

Ideal location for Pinehurst

Excellent property within close proximity to Pinehurst golf courses and downtown. We walked to downtown and beyond for dinner a couple of the nights. Check in and check out were a snap and communication with Linda was prompt. Highly recommend the property. Very clean, updated, and has all the amenities you need, including a nice sized kitchen.

No 10 Palmetto House

Accommodations very good, well presented and equipped. Cozy, comfortable and very pleasant to come home to. Only issue we had was the steepness of the steps after a hard day at the office( golf ) but we are far, very far from being spring chickens! Ha Ha. One serious shortcoming for us was the TV channel availability on ROKU . Not one of the five channels we watch regularly was available. I would have been very happy to pay a bit more for a good satellite or cable selection. (Not having golf channel in Pinehurst ! History of USGA doesnā€™t do it, especially US Open week. ) I would have been very happy to add and pay for channels but the warnings in the ā€˜rules for rentersā€™ were dire! Darenā€™t even consider adding a channel, assuming itā€™s availability on ROKU. Still totally enjoyed our stay. Location excellent so handy for historic village, golf etc.

Well-located, within walking distance to the village of Pinehurst, Rassie Wicker Park, a number of shops and eating choices, plus it is an easy walk to the Pinehurst CC and Pinehurst Hotel. Quiet at night, a well-kept property.

Well, without boring everyone, we simply love living life to the fullest! Our life together has focused on family, each other, our careers and interests, and travel. We've visited a lot of venues searching for a perfect getaway place that met both of our needs, and look where we ended up! The Sandhills, and the lovely villages of Pinehurst and Southern Pines with America's best golf and thousands of acres of trails for me to ride my horse. Done deal! And what is better than sharing with wonderful guests like yourselves?!

Location, location, location. And to top it off, we renovated and decorated the unique Carriage House in our tastes and as we would our own home, which, I have to admit, so many of you admire :) Makes us both feel good to share such an idyllic property with you - our new found guests.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

We searched long and hard in Pinehurst for a cottage that met our needs. Looked at a number of homes, but never fell in love. We knew we wanted to be in Old Town - the center of the village - close to EVERYTHING, but we also wanted something unique, something with a history, and something that just said, 'this is home.' When we drove into the driveway and saw that lovely Carriage House, it was love at first sight. The peace and quiet of the location, and the sun pouring into the rooms, just sealed the deal. And here we are :)
