In the quaint town of Farmerville, this cozy house provides a wonderful escape for your upcoming trip. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a comfortable living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the comforts of home. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances, invites you to unleash your culinary skills and prepare delicious meals for your family. Savor your creations at the dining table, surrounded by the warmth of the space. When it's time to relax, you can take advantage of the free WiFi, Roku streaming, and the selection of card games and books, perfect for entertaining both adults and children. Step outside and enjoy the fresh air on the porch, or on our newly built deck with outdoor furniture. For those who love the great outdoors, Lake D'Arbonne State Park is just a 16-minute drive away and offers a wealth of opportunities for exploration and recreation. This vacation home is equipped with all the essentials you need, including 4 bedrooms (FYI: 4th bedroom doesn't have a T.V. and the AC vent doesn't blow as hard as the rest of the rooms), 2 bathrooms, cotton towels, a hair dryer, an ironing and board, and air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. With the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, you can pack light and focus on creating lasting memories during your time here. In addition, our house is truly a treat for fishermen. Lake D' Arbonne is one of the top fishing lakes in the country and home of some of the top fishing tournaments in the US. Even if just for relaxation and to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lake D'Arbonne is a great place to go to unwind.

FYI: Parking is limited due to narrow roads. No events/family gatherings held allowed at the house. Boat launch is nearby.

Strip all used beds, fold the quilts put them on the side. Put dirty linens and used towels in the laundry baskets and store them in the laundry room. Kindly, take the trash to the nearby dumpster.
Rinse w/dish soap all used kitchen utensils (Put food particles, used cooking oil/grease in a jar and put in the trash as we don't have garbage disposal. Load them in the dishwasher and run it.
Remove personal items, anything left in the house after check out will be in the trash. Turn off lights, turn off AC and push the lock button when you leave. Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying here! Laurie, our host, was so accommodating and even checked in on us the first night to see if the house met our expectations. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The house had everything we needed. Family board games, plenty of bedrooms. Our favorite part was spending family time fishing off their pier. We caught a lot of bass and catfish!! We will be recommending this place to friends/family! Your home is beautiful and we enjoyed staying here, thank you!!

Great location for our annual fishing trip

The location was great with easy access to fishing areas and public boat launch. Located in a small, quiet community. The host was able to accommodate a last-minute schedule change with no issues. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

Family Getaway

Perfect for our family getaway. We had a group ranging from children to senior citizens. The house was clean, spacious, and well stocked. Laurie's communication was great before and throughout our stay. The neighbors were also friendly. I would highly recommend.

Lake House

Our recent weekend stay at this lake house was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and with plenty of room for our family to spread out comfortably. We were staying there to be close to the venue for my daughter’s wedding. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it provided the perfect peaceful escape we were hoping for. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and the overall atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a relaxing and spacious retreat.

A wonderful stay

This was a wonderful trip for our family. We were visiting the area for a funeral and this beautiful home was perfect for us. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and we spent many nights playing games and building puzzles to keep us occupied! Televisions available for the older kiddos. Very spacious and lovely decor that touched us on a personal level. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. We will most definitely be staying here anytime we are in the area and I would recommend 100%

Fantastic choice!

The beds are super comfy. The property is extremely clean. There are smart TVs in the bedrooms. Two bathrooms with showers. The washer and dryer are FULL SIZED washer/dryer. Definitely a win for a family stay. 10:10 recommend.

Great view of the lake.

Mercy Me Escape was perfect for our stay in Farmerville. The sunset lake views were stunning. The house was perfect with plenty of beds and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Everything from start to finish was flawless. I highly recommend!

Our neighborhood is very peaceful, nice and quite often featuring beautiful sunsets and birds around.
We kindly ask, all our guests please read our rental agreements ,house rules and policies. Please understand we don’t know you and we don’t have a Crystal ball to see who is good and not. We just need to be in the same page to avoid misunderstanding. HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNITY: OWNER/Manager of rental property shall not be liable for any damages and/or injury to tenant and or their guest(s),or their personal property due to TENANT’S acts, actions or neglect. TENANT agrees to hold OWNER/ Manager harmless against any claim for damage and or injury for the use any structures or equipment, dock or any amenities in/on the house due to TENANTS act or neglect or their guests act or neglect. Nice, Quite and very close to town. The house and the serene view of the lake is truly a beautiful place to relax and unwind from your busy schedule.
The house is in an island. We have limited parking due to narrow driveway and road. NO EVENTS/Gatherings Held in/at the house. For liability reasons, only registered/approved guests are allowed to stay in/at the house.
Due to unpredictable weather, you may experienced power outages, the house doesn’t have standby generator. Weather conditions and road/neighbor’s construction projects are beyond hosts
