Brand new great view downtown apartment- Iris 4!

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. If your looking for delicious restaurants , boutique shops, park activities, lakefront enjoyment, or if you just want to stay in and relax this is your spot! This second story unit provides beautiful views of the downtown museum and city hall. Be sure to enjoy the farmers market every Saturday morning (only 1 block away). If you have more people traveling with you , ask about our additional rental next door.

Unit has refrigerator, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, washer & dryer along with eating utensils dishes glassware bedding towels bedroom and living room furnishings.

Occupants must be able to climb a flight of stairs to access this unit.

We are in walking distance to restaurants 1910, Luna, Tia Juanita’s, OB’s, Lagunas, Millennium Park, Lake Charles Pier and amphitheater, Courthouse, Stellar Beans coffee shop, Candace Alexander studio etc. etc.

Wonderful short stay

This property was very comfortable, clean, and very roomy. It accommodated us very well. The host of this property is very accommodating and made our stay so relaxed! Best host we have had so far!

A great apartment!

The apartment was spacious with all of the amenities that one would need. It was located near a wonderful park by the water and had great walking trails. The host was very accessible and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing place in the center of all the fun

The property and the owners both exceeded all our hopes. Great owners that gave us awesome recommendations for local spots, and put a lot of effort into stocking the entire house with everything you would need. The property is located within walking distance of several restaurants and places with live music. It was just a last minute weekend getaway for us but will gladly bring the kids for an extended stay next time.

One of best places I’ve stayed

This property was a joy to use for the weekend. Plenty of room for our son and us. The beds were comfortable and the separate bathrooms were nice to have. Lots of extras left for our use (detergent, coffee, condiments etc etc) which was quite helpful. Bonus was location 425 feet from Catholic Cathedral for Sunday Mass. We would use again!

From our initial request to stay at this property to our departure, everything about our experience was fabulous! We love the convenient location, the decor, the amenities, the vibe, the views of downtown, the cleanliness, and the ease of communication with the hosts. Fabulous place and location!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was beyond our expectations. The bedrooms were very nice size and the beds were comfortable. The living and kitchen area is an open concept and was very spacious. This location is within walking distance of the lake and the parks, restaurants and a cute little coffee shop. We stayed during Mardi Gras weekend and this location was perfect that it was on one of the parade routes. We will definitely be booking again. Kevin and Liz are great hosts and were always available to answer any questions.

Great Place and Owners

One of my favorite experiences of any short term rental stay ever. Kevin was very accommodating and communicated with us every step of the way and even provided some options for things to do during our stay. They thought of everything in regards to back up toiletries, coffee supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. The place was spotless upon arrival and we were excited to see how close we were to the restaurants and church. We used to stay at the casinos but from now on we are checking availability of their apartment before booking anywhere else.

Another great stay!

We've stayed at this rental several times now, and we've loved every visit! The communication with the hosts is always quick and easy, and they are very welcoming. They obviously take pride in their rental units as is evident in their thoughtful attention to details, conveniences, and guests' needs. We've stayed in two of their rental units now, and both are stylishly decorated, immaculate, and comfortable. The apartments are well-stocked, well-equipped, and well-appointed with everything renters could possibly need. Fantastic downtown location within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, shopping, live music venues, government buildings, and civic center. Fun little farmer's market right across the street every Saturday morning. We love this place!

Great weekend

We had a wonderful time here! Everything was clean, new, and attractively decorated. The rental was roomy and perfect for two couples as it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The hosts thought of everything with many amenities from granola bars, water bottles, and coffee/cream/sugar to makeup wipes, razors, and Ibuprofen (that I was so thankful for!). Knowing there was rain in the forecast, the hosts even left us an umbrella to use! Communication, and management are top-notch. Location is perfect for all things downtown. We will be staying here again!

So accommodating!

From the fully stocked kitchen, the large living space, the decor and to the bathrooms stocked with everything you need. Location is in the heart of Lake Charles. The apartment has so much open space. We had such a great time at the festival and we were able to come and go all day to the festival and back to the beautiful apartment. Our friends had so many compliments on the cute apartment. We will be back!
