Stunning home on Mead Lake. This beautiful 2 story cedar cabin has something for everyone. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there is enough space for everyone. Enjoy amazing views of the lake while entertaining on the wrap around style porch and fire pit. Mead Lake offers a large variety of fish and is perfect for water sports. Located directly off from ATV and snowmobile trails. Great ice fishing. Must be 25 to rent.

The house was perfect size for our family with lots of room to have meals & game time together. The oven worked, however, not very well. Cooked pizzas on the grill in order to get crust done. Patio door quite hard to open/close, so we used the side door, which was no big deal. Overall, enjoyed the beautiful home. Plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms/showers and rec area!

Fun Relaxing Weekend

We had no complaints about the host or the place.We stayed with 8 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room. The fishing was good enough to have a large fish fry.The first morning the coffee pot did not work, so we picked one up in Thorp and Kimberly reimbursed us very quickly. This was a nice vacation for all of us.Ps. If you are going here with kids the aquatic center in Thorp looks great, we tried to go and got rained out. Lots of fun!Renee

Great relaxing family vacation

The house was very spacious and clean. We had 14 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The lake had little boat traffic which was nice for canoeing and kayaking. Overall, a great experience!

This house was a great place to hold our annual family get away! Dock right on the lake… just wish the fish were biting! 🎣🐠

Fantastic Family Fun

We had a great trip staying at the cabin! Our family had lot of fun enjoying the hot tub, fire area, deck and the entire setting was very peaceful and perfect for our group. Even with some rain during our stay the covered deck and spacious home made for an enjoyable experience! We also were able to spend time on the lake. The views from the cabin are terrific. We’d highly recommend the home to anyone looking for a place to have a vacation!!

We loved our time at this lake house!

The house and lake side yard is well suited for all ages. We enjoyed making family meals in the open concept kitchen. Everyone had an amazing time fishing (and they were biting), kayaking, pattle boarding and swimming in the lake during the day. We ended every evening with a fire around the well done fire pit area. Our stay was during the week so it was very private and the lake had low traffic. Highly recommend.

Great Family Lake House

Our extended family of 13 kids and adults stayed here for a week. The house was stocked with everything we needed or expected and more! We loved the yard space for outdoor games and fires! Our kids enjoyed being able to hop in the water right off the dock. The fishing was great at the time we were there too. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and saw some amazing fireworks and a boat parade. The fireworks were done off a small island right by the house. It’s one of the longest and best fireworks shows I’ve seen! Kimberly was very quick with communication before and during our stay. This is our 5th year renting a lake house for a week and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed! We’ll definitely be back at some point!

gorgeous fall scenery

A great hostess! Big two-story house on the lake with plenty of room for parking. (Map directions out in advance because cell coverage is weak or nonexistent, but house has wifi.) Colorful fall trees. Easy walking area. Walked to the dam, the campground, the scout camp, etc. Took kayaks out for a quick paddle. Enjoyed watching the herons and eagles on the lake. Master upstairs bed-bath suite is immense, with shower. Second bathroom upstairs is only a tub — no shower. Watch out for odd step upstairs— should probably be illuminated. Two bathrooms on main floor, each with a shower. Bunkbed is only suitable for kids /small teens. Secondary living room — once housing a jacuzzi — is now a beautiful wood-paneled game room with television, a little cooler than the rest of the house. No curtains on those windows, fyi, and one of us slept on the very comfortable sofa. Wifi is severely limited in game room. Kitchen has microwave, toaster, drip + pod coffee makers, many utensils, pots, griddle, sharp knives. Fridge takes a while to cool, but another fridge is in laundry room. Oven doesn’t heat beyond roughly 300° - maybe cuz it’s crusted with burnt food. Outdoor gas grill worked great! The sliding door came off track repeatedly and screen didn’t seal. Owners say they are installing new patio slider soon. We all had a lovely weekend. Perfect weather. Thank you! Ps. Needs some fall cleaning. Buggy, dusty screens on windows. Tiny cobwebs inside the house. No big deal. Very roomy!
