Charming 85 sqm apartment in a quaint inn & farm in the Bavarian forest

Welcome to my very personal Villa Kunterbunt in the Bavarian Forest !!

The customs house:

The "Gasthaus zum Zollhaus" is actually an old customs house, which was expanded in the seventies by my grandparents to a guesthouse, which they have passionately pursued for decades beside their agriculture for the "German summer visitors". To get the customs house, I decided a few years ago myself to the "city flight". Even if everything is rebuilt and rebuilt, I'm looking forward to finally opening the doors for new guests.

The flats:

For this we have redesigned two of the former pension rooms into kitchens on the first floor, so that both wings can be used separately as holiday apartments. These are each around the 85sqm in size and provide sleeping arrangements for up to seven guests (three double rooms - two with bath in the room / one with bathroom in the hallway). There is also the possibility for large groups (surcharge) to add 3 more rooms on the second floor (2 double / 1 single). When remodeling was important to me, as possible to preserve the original character of the rooms, so we are particularly welcome lovers who appreciate authenticity more than modern perfection.

Of course our groups and guests can use the old rustic economy on the ground floor as a recreation room, where there used to be a lot of activity from morning to evening. Here we also provide drinks on request.

Be outside:

Our guesthouse with the adjoining courtyard, has a beautiful secluded location, right next to the forest. In the garden you can build (existing) loungers, seating or hammocks. A barbecue area is available and our playground is currently under construction.

For the children there are goats, chickens, cows, calves, rabbits and ponies to look at and feed and all my guests are welcome, depending on the season, to provide themselves free of our fruit trees (cherry, plum, plum, apple, pear) with vitamins , For breakfast you get from me also like fresh milk on the table. Eggs and homemade jams can be purchased on demand. In addition, I also organize on request a barbecue for you with freshly made salads, drinks and meat products from the local butcher.

Basically, you can have everything from me, except ironed sheets! This is washed with love and dried in the sun, but the ironing is just not in it :)


Leisure:

From our farm there are numerous opportunities to make excursions and start activities. Apart from walks through the directly adjacent forest, one is in only a few kilometers one is in the Czech Republic; five minutes drive away is the Silver Lake, with heaped beach section for the children. If you drive to Waldmünchen (10 minutes drive) can enjoy the beach on the larger lake Perlsee. The Cherchov (15min drive) and Hohe Bogen summer toboggan run (55min drive) invite you to hike. In the surrounding small towns (about 10 minutes) you will find all the shops (Norma / Netto / Edeka / Tedi / candle factory / pharmacy / ect.), Cafes and an ice cream parlor. The next two surrounding villages (5min each way) also offer Aunt Emma shops, bakers, butchers and restaurants.
