Well maintained 50+ acre working farm with 2 stocked ponds, livestock, and wildlife. Mowed perimeter paths provide you with almost 4 miles of hiking if you like. Lots of room to get out. Lots to explore. Beautiful scenery. Big decks with outdoor furniture to relax and watch sunset / sunrise. Are you pulling a trailer (boat, camper, horses, sxs)?...Plenty of room to park and turn. Secure and private. We provide bonfire pit and firewood too. We also provide fishing rods and tackle box so everything you need is right at the home.

Within 14 miles of hospitals, Falls, waterpark, lake, 2 gaming halls (like casino) and horse race track. 8 miles from Corbin or 8 miles from Williamsburg. Close to University of the Cumberlands, Daniel Boone Forest, Interstate 75, The Mint Gaming Hall, etc. Original KFC, Dog Slaughter Falls, Yahoo Falls, Eagle Falls, Cumberland Falls & State Park, Trout streams, Laurel Lake (spillway, beach, marinas), hiking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, lots more! Almost forgot Corbin Arena concerts, Corbin downtown craft beers and breweries, new standard bred horse racing at the Cumberland Run.
Inside, home is clean and roomy. Comfortable and updated furnishings. TV, CD player and lots of movies, games, books, internet, and ROKU tv. Comfortable living room. Relax. New mattresses with comfortable bedding. Fully stocked kitchen.

Hosts are close if you need anything but home is yours. We want our home to be safe, clean, and comfortable for our guests.

To continue to keep things nice for our guests we ask the following - 5 guests maximum. No pets inside (yes outside area provided for pets - must request in advance). No parties. No family gatherings.

What an absolutely GORGEOUS property and home. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners as we toured the grounds. The house is immaculate and decorated nicely. There are fishing ponds, trails to walk, and cows to see! The owners had maps and communicated openly. My kids LOVED it here and wanted to stay (ages 13 thru 5). Serenity and peacefulness here. Best overnight stay we have EVER been to.

Beautifully appointed mobile home located on the owner’s farm. We were quite amazed of all the necessities that were provided. Better than a 5 star hotel! Last night we took a long walk around the mowed paths and ponds on the farm. We finished the evening with a nice fire and s’mores.

The home is off the beaten path but it also makes up for the beautiful views and quietness. The owner communicated well with every detail and very courteous. Walking up in the morning to the cows in the field was also a delight! We were just passing through but will keep this home in mind for future travels.

Rain, rain go away.

Property is beautiful rolling pastures. Our trip was only 2 nights and the weather didn't cooperate (rained the entire time) so we didn't get to enjoy the outside but the VRBO was great. Clean and well done. Really couldn't have asked for anything better.

Cozy and clean, beautiful property

My father, brother, and I met and stayed here for a holiday weekend. We loved the property and enjoyed the house. Everything was seamless from check in to check out. Jill left excellent and clear instructions with detailed maps of local attractions. The house was so clean and very cozy! Everything was provided for, all we had to do was relax and enjoy. Would definitely come back and stay!

Quiet country farm

Loved seeing the cows. Super nice, quiet family farm feels like your lost in the countryside. But only a 10 minute drive to all the beauty Kentucky has to offer. We stayed to watch football at the university of The Cumberlands. It’s so nice to see the community come out to support the college.

Just adorable place to stay. We so enjoyed exploring the property and the owners were so nice. Didn't sleep well the last night with a bull yelling a few times and early morning, but other than that, excellent stay. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had all we needed. Will stay again when in the area.

Great time in Kentucky

I am not good at writing this review kind of stuff but had to write something for this stay. As for all the carbos that we have done this was simply the best. I will be back and take a nice peaceful get away from real life. We really enjoyed out stay

Better than expected

Yearly motorcycle trip, dad brother his girlfriend and myself. Only stayed one night, but if we are able to make the trip next year talking about staying here for 2 days, because the location to good riding.

Excellent Stay

Rented this VRBO to visit nearby family. Everything was clean, in great working order. Couldn't ask for a better place to unwind after 'family time'! Will be back.

Peaceful retreat

This beautiful property is a retreat for the soul. Amazing mountain views and rolling pastures. The home was immaculate and the fully stocked kitchen was appreciated. We would highly recommend this property!

Awesome getaway

House was clean and well kept. Kitchen had everything needed. Rooms were spacious and layout of home was great. Ponds were easy to get to and well stocked. Short drive to Cumberland Falls, Holly Bay and Kentucky Splash waterpark which we loved! Would recommend and stay again

Jill & Jerry (us) aka J & J Farms. We have been farming since 2007 with pumpkins, horses, and cows. Jerry keeps the farm safe and well maintained. Jill builds furniture in spare time, including some of the furniture in the home. Both of us still have full time jobs, in addition to taking care of the farm and our rental home. We have 10 grandkids scattered from Ohio to Florida.

Family and friends always stare out over the farm and talk about how beautiful. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Close to everything but still away from everything. Located within 14 miles of anything you could want or need.
On the weekends we have bonfires and star gaze. Sometimes there are meteor showers! During the day, explore or relax. Inside or outside you will not be disappointed. Watch the animals as they graze and roam. Bring your fishing pole and spend the day fishing.
We are close without being too close. If you need information, a guided tour or just be left alone to relax, then we are the perfect hosts! (lol). No one will want to go back home and everyone will be ready to come back soon.

Benefits? Where to start? We have built huge decks and provided outdoor furniture to make outside relaxing. Inside we have built furniture and provided furnishings that will make our guests comfortable and relaxed.

The two stocked ponds will provide lots of opportunity for success. Jerry keeps perimeter paths around the farm mowed and well maintained. 1.3 and 1.7 mile perimeter paths are scenic and provide opportunity to see wildlife and mountain views.

Do you like to cook? BBQ? If so, there is well stocked kitchen and gas & charcoal grills available. If not, then there are 2 town within 10 miles that have every type of food available, too.

So, inside or outside we have you covered. Want activities? There is Cumberland Falls, Laurel Lake, Williamsburg WaterPark, original KFC, Tree Top Adventures, Dog Slaughter Falls, Stearns Train, Sheltowee Trace Adventures, horseback riding, hiking, Cumberland River access...all within 14 miles!
Oh yeah, inside plenty of comfortable furniture, board games, and books if you just want to relax and read or watch tv...your choice.
