Simply charming cottage

The Knoll Cottage is surrounded by acres of tranquil farmland, with woods and streams. East and west-facing porches overlook uninterrupted pastoral views=. Downstairs includes living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with queen size bed. Upstairs there are two delightful bedrooms under the eaves. One room has twin beds, the other a double.

The cottage is situated on 170 acres of farmland which includes pastures, woodlands, and two ponds. With this additional land, we have added a glamping tent and a replica of a gypsy caravan. All three are secluded from each other.

Growing up, I was privileged to spend time at my families gypsy caravan back in the UK. It was situated in the countryside outside of London, where we lived. The experience of leaving the city to the freedom of the countryside and the enjoyment of nature inspired me to make our land a place of retreat.

We welcome guests and encourage them to explore and walk the trails. To sit at spots along the way and absorb the surroundings. There will be no sounds of traffic, just those of nature. (Water in the brooks, birdsongs, cattle, and sheep). Nighttime brings pitch-black darkness, no ambient light to distract from the wonder of stargazing.

Our wish is that people in need of a break discover our place (the Lee Farm). Many have found us and returned time after time. The cottage, glamping tent, gypsy caravan are listed individually. Booked together, they provide a desirable destination for family gatherings. This is an ideal situation where parents can relax and children are safe to explore.
