Whoever is cleaning the house is not doing a very good job. The kitchen was clean. The window sills and mop boards were dusty. There were Bobby pins on the floor in the master so it had not been swept. I had to hunt for wash clothes. There were no hand towels. The towels were not very nice. The back door would not stay shut unless it was locked need toilet set replaced

Good place

The house itself was very nice. The inside was clean with the exception of a few places like the light switches needed to be wiped down and the doors near the door handles need to be cleaned. There were plenty of dishes. Missed having a sheet pan. Bring your own cleaners for wiping off counters as we couldnt find any. The location was good with being outside San Antonio but close enough it didnt take long to get there. Overall it was a great stay.

Key largo stay

Overall, location of property is great. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Plenty of room inside, kitchen a little small and all utensils/pans are dated. Very difficult to cook efficiently with pans there. House was tidy however it could use a deep clean. Patio did not get used due to dated materials out there. Bedrooms were spacious however the mattresses are dated and you feel how old they are. Took several attempts to get ahold of host. No instructions emailed before we arrived. Helpful once we got in touch with them. Overall, the property worked for us.

Good for a large group

For the most part this rental was great and just what we needed. The reason for the 4 stars was just basic things that would've made it easier. Not having to go buy wasp spray for the wasps at the front door, salt and pepper for the kitchen, and a stopper for the tub, my daughter wanted to take a bath , and fixing towel rails in the bathrooms. It was a great location to visit her at the base and convenient for all we had planned.Some simple updates woukd make it even better, but it was all we needed.

Family vacation

The house was nice and clean. Back yard had plenty of room for the kids to play. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again

Mixed Review

When we arrived at the property, after a 16-hour dive, the house wasn't cleaned from the previous guests. The laundry was piled by the washer, dishes weren't done, and beds weren't made, and the bathrooms were a mess. The house was just dirty. I called the property manager and she sent the cleaning lady, at 10pm, to come clean the house. However, after that was all taken care of, the house was nice and clean and new linen was placed on each bed and the bathrooms were now clean. We enjoyed the space that the house had to offer. It worked well for our family. The property manager was very apologetic and overall, it was a good property to stay at.

Great home

We enjoyed our stay here. The description was accurate, the house was clean and organized, the neighborhood was fine no issues. The host was fabulous with communication! The price was great as well! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Excellent for the price

4 bedroom on a cool little lake in a very residential neighborhood, but with chill vibes. About 25 min from downtown/riverwalk, so its "near" there only in Texas terms.

A decent stay for the price

This house that we stayed at was a decent place to stay for the price that was listed. The neighborhood was decent but one of the neighbors was loud for multiple nights even though I was warning by the property that the HOA will get mad at us if we are loud after 9PM. My only big complaint was that on the property it said that there will be soap and shampoo and saw none anywhere in the building. Also, it said there was a key to the community pool and I for the life of me couldn't find it.

San Antonio vacation

We asked to check in early since our plane arrived early. Someone did get back to us to ask if we got a hold of someone, but never answered our question and the other named person never got back to us. We checked in at 4pm per rules. We found the home to be clean in general, but needed deep cleaning of things like vents, doors, furniture. Overall, the home needed updating and some things were left in poor condition. The back door, we could see day light through the door and frame, the screen frames were bent and made us feel like someone may have been trying to break in at some point. The towel holder in the bathroom was missing a bracket and pole. We searched through the house to find towels, finally found them by the washer and dryer. There were towels left in the dryer that we folded and put away. There were stray dogs covered in fleas that pushed their way into the backyard, not at all the property owners fault but spoke of the neighborhood. Some of the family members would stay here again, I personally would not, only because I would prefer a closer place to our destination.
