Sobre esta propriedade
The Logger Cabin - Glamping on the Tobacco River
This cabin is an old J. Neils Lumber Company logger bunk house, which would have been used to house loggers when working in our surrounding forests. We have loving restored it, adding modern comforts, including a luxury king bed and linens - but keeping the cool vintage vibe. This is a private cabin which sleeps 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge, or if your party is larger, we have a vintage tiny trailer, or a tent that we can park next to it for an additional fee. (email us!) The Logger Cabin is one of 6 units at Tobacco River Ranch, and the only unit with electric. Check out our other listings! We host weddings and family reunions too!
Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come for the recreation, but stay to relax!
Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Let us handle the set up, you're here to recreate! We have five cabins and two vintage trailers to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River on our ranch.
On site you'll find a beautiful community kitchen with all the equipment you need, and new showers and bathrooms. We also have a few bikes & tubes for guest use.
We're so Northwest that we're almost Canada. Eureka Montana is called "The Last Best Place" because of our unspoiled nature, abundant wildlife, solitude and brilliant night skies. You'll love watching wildlife, star gazing, and occasionally seeing the northern lights from the large deck overlooking the Tobacco River.
Our ranch comprises 450 Acres of trails, pasture, forest and river. Make yourself at home! This cabin is private, secluded and off grid. Guests have access to our community kitchen and showers/toilets. Linens and towels provided. We provide a few tubes for river use and bikes for rails to trails as well. Games, cards, books, etc also available in common areas.
Glamping = camping with the work done for you. You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) **There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. *Bathroom and kitchen are in the Base Camp, nearby and a brand new beautiful building shared by two units. **You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking. **Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper.

Beautiful!!
We were in the Logger Cabin for 3 days and nights. It was so peaceful sitting on the deck overlooking the Tobacco river and a herd of cows. The sound of the river flowing by and the many birds flying overhead was soothing.
The base camp was great,too.
Our regret is that we didn’t spend more time on the property. Lovely place❤️❤️🐾🐾

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon. We LOVED it. We stayed in the Logger Cabin and enjoyed the scenic view it provided. I believe it’s the only unit with electricity. It was quite hot during the day, but we did have a fan that was provided. We opened our window at night and felt the cool Montana air. We both slept SO well! The kitchen area was really nice. At first I was worried about sharing a communal space with others, but both families that were also there were great. We also had a nice surprise of farm fresh eggs in the fridge. We made some one morning, and they were delicious! The shower and bathroom area were also very clean. At night we loved watching the deer in the fields and the cows. A couple of calfs were chasing each other, it was so fun to watch! We didn’t get a chance to spend a ton of time at the ranch, as we spent our days at Glacier. Had we had more time, we would’ve explored the property more in depth. As well as tubed the river and hiked the trails nearby. We stayed in several places over our 11 days in Montana, and this was definitely a favorite! I highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a glamping experience!

Sobre o anfitrião
Anfitrião: Nikki Eisinger
Hi! We are Karl, Nikki and twins. We've travelled and/or lived all over the world, and are blessed to call this piece of heaven home.
Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
We do our best to be good stewards of the land ~ from river restoration, to regenerative farming, our aim is to share it with others, and leave it better for the next generation. Our ranch is a special place. Rails to Trails/part of the PNW Trail runs through the property, as does the Tobacco River. We recognize that these are the traditional lands of the Kootenai tribe, who fished this river, and grew a ceremonial tobacco here, giving the area (Tobacco Valley) and the river it's name.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
There's so much to do right ON the ranch (hiking, biking, tubing, swimming, fishing, etc!) There's no reason to leave...BUT the area is also known for our amazing mountain lakes, world class golf and rock climbing, and so much more!
