Peaceful retreat in a busy city.

Great little spot

The studio was very nice and clean. Very convenient spot. Nicely decorated too! The only issue was the car alarms going off outside a lot of the night, but nothing we could do about it.Thanks,Amy

We had a last minute change of our accommodations, Rae was lovely and very welcoming! It was in our price range that we wanted as we were there for a music festival in Mayanuk. Was accessible to various areas of Philadelphia.

Wonderful place to stay when we came for a wedding in Philly. The studio is clean and well furnished. The area is quiet. We had green space for our dogs. It was wonderful.

Convenient Get Away

The property was clean, comfortable and very convenient to all the places I needed to get to. I stayed for a week and it felt like home (the only issue I had were loud neighbors) The host was apologetic...I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area, and hope the noise issue will be resolved.

Good location, cute place

Perfect for what we needed. Location is close to stores and restaurants. Had some issues with multiple bugs getting in and you can hear the water running from the house upstairs, but that's expected in these older Philadelphia rowhomes.

This was a comfortable, clean and attractive apartment. Rae was amazing and very responsive. There was some road work being done while I was there which was not anything to be avoided and was not a problem for me at all. I would stay there again!

Host is very talented and the decor and setup of the studio shows her talent

We were traveling with two pets/dogs. We take care of our dogs and Host was kind enough to trust us. Toured Philadelphia as best we could. Was more impressed with the Studio than the City!

"Truly" the perfect studio...

I would be able to write volumes on how satisfied and pleased I was with this property, the property manager and the blissful 2 evenings spent here but allow me to just say this : perfect location for my stay; gorgeous decor and furniture within the property; and an extremely kind, efficient, attentive property manager who maintained contact with me comfortably and intuitively. I hope I am able to stay again later in the year sometime.

Wow!

My daughter & I were visiting friends & family. We wanted a place within walking distance. Mr. Morris place was perfect! He always kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. I thought to myself, "I could live here". Everything was simple & well arranged. We will definitely stay here again when come back. Thank you Mr. Morris for a fantastic stay!

This was a great little studio. It is the downstairs part of the address and it had everything one would need for a stay. Simple check-in and check-out process. It has both heat and a/c which was needed as the temperature didn't know what it wanted to do. The washer and dryer was very convenient to have. On Street parking. Host was very friendly and helpful when contacted.

Just a quick getaway

Was in need to just getaway and this property did the job. Upon arrival it was clean and smelled nice and fresh. Provided equipment if I decided to prepare a meal in or if made the decision to go out there was places and shopping close by. Had an issue with the lock code but the host was very easy to contact and was corrected very quickly. You did hear the people upstairs walking around but not really bothersome as stated in other reviews. Would definitely consider this property in the future.

Great full kitchen! Need a way to turn off outside light

It had everything I needed for this particular trip, including a full kitchen (not just a kitchenette). The only thing I would change is the ability to turn off the outside light from within. The light outside the entry door was on all night and I could not turn it off because it was taped in position and I did not want to mess with the tape job, just in case there was an obscure reason for its presence. The bed has a clear view of that outside light

Sleepless in Philly ...

My wife and I stayed for a cousin's wedding nearby. The property is very clean, cozy, and attractive. Rae, our host, was instantly responsive when we struggled to get in (it's the downstairs door and the only way you'd know is to read the reviews) The neighborhood is a safe, middle-class neighborhood with easy access to a nearby mall and other stores. However - and I feel bad sharing this because it's beyond the owner's control - the floors in the unit above sound like an old pirate ship that's run aground on a bunch of trampolines. This became a problem when the young folks staying above us would return home each night at 2am and begin their bedtime routine. Every step sounds like a haunted mansion collapsing and you can hear every drop (or stream, yuck!) of water! This, unfortunately, is the Achilles heel of this unit.

Take this review with a grain of salt

As the title of this review suggests, my experience is probably different than others. The pros of this place: Decent location, street parking wasn't too bad Laundry in unit Full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Comfy bed and pillows Allows pets (I did not bring mine) Spacious Cons: I did not find anything about the location to be quiet unfortunately. The unit is right on the street and the noise from people walking and driving by carries inside easily. I could also hear the entire conversation of someone in the next unit while I was in the bathroom. At first I actually thought she could see me, as she started talking and I jumped out of my skin thinking someone was standing behind me, watching me. I could hear every word she spoke, crystal clear while she was on the phone, as well as her washer and dryer chimes going on and off. Thankfully it didn't carry through the night at least. The blinds didn't close all the way so the lights from outside shined in at night. I do want to say that the host was very responsive and very nice, and obviously there's nothing really to be done about the noise issues, it just wasn't what I was hoping for personally and thought other potential VRBO-ers should hear about my experience.

Location did not feel.safe - went to hotel!

Drove up and my husband said we are not staying here - it is not a safe area. It was a noisy busy street in a rough area. We are from Atlanta so we know safe vs not safe. I notified the host that we wouldnt be staying for this reason. I only received automated messages. She finally messaged to say no refund of any type and she wouldnt be threatened by my leaving a bad review. Wow what a crappy way to treat a customer who paid 100% up front. Ive rented a LOT of placed with zero problem ever. This was a nightmare. Plenty of nice places to stay in N Philly. AVOID THIS ONE!
