By car: 10 minutes to the castle ruin Desenberg. 20 minutes to the monastery of Hardehausen, with its bison enclosure, 27 kilometers to the zoo Sababurg, 30 minutes to Twiste and Diemelsee, the Hercules water games in Kassel Wilhelmshöhe and the cathedral city of Paderborn.
