In our popular cottage Katzhörn find on 100 square meters up to 6 people ample space. The historic Friesenkate lies in the tranquil Emmelsbüll-Horsbüll and is ideal for a holiday with the whole family and a holiday with a dog.

The cottage Katzhörn was extensively renovated in 2019 and rebuilt. You will find an adequate holiday home, which meets the highest standards. Ideal for a holiday with the whole family, with friends, with grandma and grandpa. Emmelsbüll-Horsbüll is an excellent starting point for eventful holidays in Nordfriesland not far from the North Sea.

The cottage Katzhörn in detail:

Sleep:
The holiday home has four cozy bedrooms. One on the ground floor, equipped with a comfortable double bed (180cm x 200cm). As a walk-in closet serves a very suitable chamber. In the upper floor there is another bedroom with the same double bed (180cm x 200cm). The two other rooms can be used with their pull-out beds both for a single person (80cm x 200cm), as well as for a couple (160cm x 200cm).
This flexible and comfortable room layout allows use for a wide variety of guest constellations.

residential:
When you enter the cottage, you are standing in the spacious hallway. From here you can reach the cozy living room with a coach seat on the right side as well as the media area with satellite TV and book corner.

Cooking / Food:
On the left side of the entrance you enter the kitchen and the dining area.
The kitchen is modern and yet cozy and tastefully decorated. All technical equipment and aids are available, such as dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and much more.
A special highlight is the integrated seating in the kitchen. The spacious dining table offers enough space for six people.

bathrooms:
The bathroom on the ground floor is the main bathroom with large shower area and sauna.
Upstairs of the house is another toilet.

Outside:
The large garden plot (about 300 square meters) is completely enclosed with a sheep wire fence. The fence height is about 1.10m. The underside is open from the bottom about 0.1m maximum. For normal sized dogs there is no danger of running away. The circular route around the house is laid with the local cat head plaster. The spacious garden has sun loungers and benches. Here you can also barbecue together. The wooden terrace with parasol is one of the popular highlights. Wonderful for the red wine in the evenings and the end of an eventful day. Our in-house bicycles (7 bikes) can be used free of charge. In a lockable shelter also your own wheels find space.

Miscellaneous:
On the property, three cars can comfortably accommodate free.
The house stands on an old weir dike, which continues to both sides.

Distances:
The distance to the North Sea is about 3km. It takes about 15 minutes by bike.
After Niebüll, the next larger city is about 8km. Here is also the next train connection to Hamburg or in the other direction to Sylt.
Sandy beaches are reachable by ferry to Föhr or Amrum, or by train to Sylt, as well as by car in 45min to Romo in Denmark.

Location:
The central location allows many exciting excursions, z. B. to the islands and Halligen or to Flensburg, Husum and Sankt Peter Ording. In Niebüll you will find all known food markets and retailers. The city center has a pleasant small town flair and Saturday is market day.

Our house is by its nature ideal for holidays with children and an eventful holiday season with the entire family. The comfortable layout offers both retreat and plenty of space for a time together with the loved ones. We also provide a baby travel cot and high chair for free on site.

Your four-legged friend and faithful companion is welcome. The fenced garden and the natural landscape in the vicinity is ideal for your fur nose. Maximum we allow the stay with three dogs.
