Beautiful home in Giarratana

A lovely detached holiday home with a swimming pool, set within a large, fenced-in natural plot of land on the road linking Ragusa Ibla with Giarratana. Access to the house is via a private road through a vineyard: The owner produces ‘Cerasuolo di Vittoria’ wine. The property comprises a main building and two outbuildings. The main house is surrounded by a covered terrace, which is furnished with sofas and seating areas on one side. On the other side, there is an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue area, along with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. The main building features a large and cosy living area with a fireplace and a kitchen-diner. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms with balconies overlooking the countryside, as well as a bathroom with a shower. Each of the two annexes has one double bedroom and a bathroom. A good location for exploring eastern Sicily: Ragusa Ibla (25 km), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the Baroque style is evident at every turn in the narrow streets of the Baroque quarter, with its churches and cathedral. Here you can also sample Sicilian delicacies in traditional restaurants and pizzerias. Just 2 km away is the ‘Calaforno’ forest park, ideal for long walks in the countryside. Artistic towns such as Palazzolo Acreide (18 km), Modica (31 km), Comiso (38 km), Scicli (40 km), Noto (44 km) and Pozzallo (51 km) are all within easy reach. The sea and the beaches of Marina di Ragusa are 47 km away.
