We loved that this property is pet friendly and right next to the Bird Sanctuary. The beds were also SO comfortable! We can't wait for our next trip to Dauphin Island!

Christmas Island getaway

We had a wonderful stay over the week of Christmas. The accommodations were exactly as listed, host was super friendly and easy to communicate with. The house is an easy walk to the bird sanctuary trails and east end beach is quick drive as well!

Comfort in the Sun.

The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds deserve a superior rating. They were wonderful! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would stay here again.

Property was clean and in a quiet location. It is SEVERAL blocks to the beach (the picture is very misleading.) Keypad on entry door did not always respond to the lock code. Overall a good stay.

Responsive Host & Great Location

Our recent stay at Here Comes the Sun on Dauphin Island was wonderful! The house was exactly as described in the listing, and the location was fantastic.We did encounter a minor issue with ants, which is common in certain areas, but our host, Noelle, was incredibly responsive and proactive in resolving it. She had an exterminator out to the property very quickly, which we greatly appreciated.Communication with Noelle was good, and she was very attentive when it came to addressing the ant situation. We highly recommend Here Comes the Sun for a great getaway!

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Dauphin Island and on the property. It was in our preferred east end, but an easy drive to the west end, and the house was spotless and big, we could all spread out and enjoy ourselves. The two televisions were great, and the kids loved that the dog could come. If I had to nitpick I would only say that the stopper didn’t fit in the tub, and I didn’t really care for the louvred doors, it was loud for someone that went to bed before the televisions were turned off. But overall it was fantastic, very very clean, plenty of room for all 6 of us and the dog, and I would definitely stay here again.

Great House!!

This is a great house! The online pics are accurate but the house feels more spacious in person. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to sit on the back deck enjoying cocktails. It was nice being close to the ferry and the beach on that side of the island. Nicole was very responsive to my questions. We would stay here again!

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our time on the island and having this cozy condo during our stay. Its a very quiet neighborhood. The condo was clean and the bedrooms felt fresh. Our running joke became "the bed trapped us." They are very comfortable, and uf someone sat down, they were gonna fall asleep quickly. We were provided enough laundry pods to keep up with all the laundry during the week. I only had to reach out to the host just once, but she was very quick to get back with us.

Clean and Wonderful Beach House!

I can tell the host put a lot of effort into her home. The house is very clean and super cute with a sunshine theme. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and the house had everything I needed. I wish they could come decorate my house! The location is great on the east side of the island with quiet neighbors and I felt safe the whole time. There is plenty of parking. Everything was easy- from check in, the actual stay, and any questions I had were very quickly answered and remedied. The host and crew went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable for me and I really appreciate it. I went by myself for a special birthday trip, but if you had an entire family, this would also be a great place to stay. Thank you very much! I would love to stay here again in the future.

Relative to Other Awesome Vrbo Stays

Inside of home was as described. It was clean, stocked with necessities and perfect for our family and our stay. The host and her team responded quickly to answer initial questions/requests that I submitted via text and phone call. The outside of the home, the front stairs and some of the decking was in need of attention and repair in some places. There was a foul smell outside that led us to standing dirty water that was coming from under the house. It looked as if some sand had been dumped over it. The description of location of the home indicated a 7 minute walk to the beach. We took that 7 minute walk which led us to the beach but which was also a gated community where only occupants living or staying there had beach access, leaving us puzzled to say the least.

I chose this area of the island b/c of its proximity to all the fun activities (Fort Gaines, Battery Turret, the aquarium and bird sanitary. The island is wonderful and has beach access throughout. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Inside this home you will find 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and all the amenities you need! The house welcomes you with a comfy foyer heading into the living room, with a flat screen tv equipped with Roku, full sofa and love seat. Next is the dining room, which is the heart of the home and has a dining table that can comfortably seat 6. Down the hall are two guest bedrooms and one master bedroom. The first guest bedroom has a comfy queen size bed followed by a second guest bedroom with 2 adorable twin size beds. Comfy enough for your 3 foot and under travelers or adult size companions. These two bedrooms share a full-size bathroom off the hallway with a full-size tub/shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a master bathroom ensuite. There is a small laundry room adjacent to the hallway bath, if you’d like to tackle a quick load after a long day at the beach.
You have access to a delightful eat-in kitchen fully stocked with all the cookware you need. Rounding up the home is the sunny tiled family room, great for lounging and bringing out the good old family board games. Tucked away is also a nice comfy desk if you need to tackle any work emails. French doors exit off the Florida room, leading you to the back deck. The spacious deck is the perfect spot to grill, lounge and entertain your friends and/or family.
Make this home the ultimate space for you and family to escape and enjoy the joyous rays of the sun.
