Spacious Fully Restored Victorian, Sleeps 10, 4 Bathrooms

The owners have invested a lot of love into this 3-story Victorian. From its wrap-around porch to the two fireplaces to keep you warm in the winter, every inch of this home has been lovingly restored.
This 120-year-old "brand new" home sleeps 10, has 4 full baths, and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with all the bells and whistles!
There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor including the Owner's bedroom with an ensuite bath. The middle bedroom has a bunk bed and two twins that can be configured into a king. Let us know how you want the room set up. The back bedroom has a queen bed and a private porch.
The third floor offers a great kids' space with a big screen tv, a mini fridge, and a queen-size pull-out sofa. There are two additional sleeping areas.
On the main floor are a living room, family room, gourmet kitchen, and a large dining area. There is access to a fenced-in backyard with a large deck, grill, and outdoor seating and dining. The home features a whole house water filtration system. The beautifully landscaped yard features a fire pit, an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, and access to the alley where you can park your golf cart.
Walk to town or the beach or you can rent a golf cart. Cape Charles is golf cart friendly so leave your car at the house and travel the Cape Charles way!
The proximity to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Busch Gardens, and Williamsburg is perfect for day trips. Chincoteague is one hour away where you can visit the wild ponies and sit on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Cape Charles! The house was spotless and beautifully appointed, with all the modern conveniences we could ask for. As someone who loves interior design, I really appreciated the thoughtful remodelā€”this 1905 home feels fresh, light, and inviting rather than fusty, with tons of space and plenty of bathrooms for everyone to spread out comfortably. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay, and the location couldnā€™t be better. Our host was so easygoing and went out of her way to make our trip relaxing and enjoyable. The small touches, like the outdoor heated shower and the swing on the porch, made the experience extra special. I regret not taking a ton of pics but was too busy having a good time!!! We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Cape Charles! The beds were comfortable and there is so much room for multiple couples or a large family. We stayed with 3 couples and 2 kids. All had lots of space and were beyond comfortable. The house is beautifully restored and very well decorated. The 3rd floor is an awesome bonus space for kids. All 3 floors have a full bathroom including an outdoor shower. The outside is also great with a fire pit! It's an excellent location where you can see the park from the front porch and walk to downtown. The hosts are super responsive and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at this charming Victorian home in the heart of Cape Charles, VA. The house was spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. From the cozy living areas to the well-stocked kitchen and ample sleeping accommodations, it was the perfect setting for our family getaway.The neighborhood was peaceful and picturesqueā€”quaint in all the best waysā€”and just a short walk or drive from local shops, the beach, and everything Cape Charles has to offer. It felt like stepping back in time, in the most magical way.Ami and Ken were exceptional hostsā€”warm, welcoming, and readily available to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality made us feel right at home.We created so many lasting memories here and are incredibly grateful for the experience. Beautiful home in a charming beach town!

Our family of 5 adults and one child had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful, updated, clean, and comfortable. Just a short walk of a few blocks to the beach and even shorter walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops. Town is charming and quiet, and the beach has calm shallow water, perfect for families with young kids. Would definitely recommend!

The Perfect Vacation!

We loved the house! Bedrooms & bathrooms worked perfect for us. 4 TVā€™s were great. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was a dream kitchen! Well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, cookware and cupboards to put our food and snacks. Keurig & drip coffee makers. Kids dishes & utensils. Lots of puzzles, games and books. Nice big deck and peaceful backyard. Outdoor shower with hot & cold water was great after getting back from all day at beach! We loved being so close to the historic downtown restaurants, bakeries (& coffee) and shops. The playground was just a block away. Ami & Ken were the best hosts ever! Canā€™t wait to go back!

We like the house so much we are repeat customers! The house is wonderful, the Host is amazing and Cape Charles is one of my favorite places to visit. The house is very well arranged, very clean and well supplied. The house is located in a prime spot and it's really nice to be able to walk to everything. I highly recommend the house!

BeachDaze is Da BOMB!!!

Where do I start?!?! First and foremost, one of the most beautiful homes, inside & out, in Cape Charles; you can tell A LOT of love went into and exists in this house. For a family like ours, we found BeachDaze incredibly functional. Each floor worked well for us and best part, we were not stepping all over each other yet we still had great, intimate moments whether it was a few of us gathering or the whole family came over. Hands down, Ami & Ken are the best owners we have ever encountered in Cape Charles; they are very welcoming and engaging. To summarize, our family is already laying claim as to who gets to stay in BeachDaze next year! BeachDaze is the BEST house we have ever stayed at in Cape Charles!

Our family had a wonderful time at this home in Cape Charles. The house had plenty of space, the third floor was great for kids to play and sleep, and the kitchen was really well equipped. The location was great, kids loved being near the park, and it was an easy walk to shops and quick golf cart ride to the beach. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

Annual Long Weekend

Our stay at Beach Daze was delightful. We had one sunny beach day, but filled the rest with golf cart rides, shopping, games, cooking, reading, and TV. The house is spacious allowing for separation and privacy as needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully renovated kitchen and baths (4!) as well as the outdoor shower. The Victorian woodwork throughout has been thoughtfully restored and maintained. Host (Ami) was promptly responsive to our questions and the hosts supplied the home with every imaginable need. We plan to visit again!

Perfect for our womanā€™s club retreat

Beautiful, spacious home in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to the beach and into town to shop. We loved sitting in the back deck in the mornings and afternoon just relaxing and enjoying conversations and laughs. Very well stocked with everything you need. fabulous house in a great location

This is a beautiful, spacious house that's close to shops, the park, and the beach. The bathrooms and kitchen are renovated. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The third floor is the perfect cozy hangout space with games, books (adult and children), DVDs, and a few toys. On the main level, the gas fireplace was easy to use and a great feature since we happened to visit on a cold and rainy week. Ami was a fantastic, communicative host. When I mentioned we had a preschooler as part of our group, she bought a bed rail and had it set up before we arrived. The house also has a crib, a high chair, plenty of kid dishes, etc. - definitely well-appointed for small children. Ami and Ken went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and that it was set up for us ahead of time.

Perfect girls weekend at Beach Daze

The Beach Daze house was just perfect for our long girls weekend. Beautifully restored victorian home that is well thought out and planned. Greatly appointed, everything we could have needed. We loved that there were Christmas decorations up. Oh and two working fireplaces. The kitchen was state of the art, perfect. The owners were extremely nice and communicative. They were a simple pleasure to work with. And the icing on the cake, we had snow flurries as we were leaving. Great weekend, great town, great friends, great house, great owners.

Wonderful home

We couldn't have been happier with this property and the folks managing it. Our extended family rented several homes in Cape Charles this weekend as we were in town for a family reunion. We visited all of them and this one was by far the best. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and very well-kept. The out door space out back was wonderful. Exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely return.

Amazing Place!

My friends and I go to Cape Charles, VA for a "long weekend" to every year and this was one of the best homes I've ever stayed in. It was clean, well stocked with the essentials, had a great outdoor area and front porch. The house looks to be recently upgraded and it really looks nice. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. We will return!
