Tired of the disappointing rental units you have tried in the past? Step up to vacationing as it should be. Luxury relaxation with amenities galore, and a view to die for!

The Moorings is a fairly new complex built in 2005 with common areas fresh and well kept. This condominium is a very spacious three bedroom three bath, with 2000 square feet of living area. It is professionally decorated, and newly refurnished. Tile floors and granite counter tops accentuate this luxury condominium.

The master bedroom is complete with king size bed and new Simmons World Class mattress, ensuring a wonderful nights sleep. The master bath offers a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub for winding down after a long day of activity. Breathtaking sunrises filter through the riggings of moored boats, spilling through your full view bedroom window. The guest bedroom is spacious and comfortable, it also has a king size bed, new Simmons bedding, and an attached full bath. The third bedroom has twin beds and is decorated with bright fun colors, perfect for the young or young at heart. It also has its own private bath, making it a secluded retreat. Each bedroom, along with the living room, contains its own television for argument free viewing.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with beautiful stainless steel appliances making mealtime fun. Its open layout with living and dining area, allow for stimulating conversation with family and guest and mesmerizing views while preparing meals. Want to eat out? Walk next door to Harbor View Grill and Sushi Bar for some of the finest seafood on the Gulf Coast.

Now for the fun stuff! The Mooring is located next door to Sportsman's Marina in Orange Beach Alabama, with direct views of Terry Cove and Perdio Pass. Relax on your spacious 800 square foot deck complete with new top of the line patio furniture while watching yachts and fishing boats come and go. Take a stroll on the docks and check out the days catch, or try your own luck. Right outside your door are some of the best fishing boat captains on the Gulf Coast. Have your own boat? The marina offers plenty of wet or dry storage right next door. Bring your catch back to the condominium and grill it fresh, right on your deck with your personal gas grill. The massive zero-entry pool features 15 fountains giving the sensation of a waterfall right outside your window. A heated pool and large jetted outdoor hot tub complete the pool area. There is plenty of seating for everyone. The workout facility is perfect for that early morning cardio or enjoy both wet and dry saunas to sweat off a few pounds!

The Moorings is beautifully landscaped and gated for your privacy and protection. Located only minutes from beautiful white sandy beaches, shopping and fine dining, you will enjoy the best of both worlds. Try us once and I know you will be back year after year.

Last minute booking, we couldn't have been happier

The place was clean and spacious, very quiet. It's a 95 unit condo building with a small percentage of rental properties, so I was told while there. So the amount of vacationers coming and going like us was limited, and for the time of year, we barely saw anyone else coming and going, and rarely was there other people at the pool, maybe a few others at times. Very very quiet. The unit had plenty of accomodations, bed was comfortable, balcony has a nice natural gas grill that we used a few times. The dock was nice and we fished off it a few times. Never thought we'd catch a stingray, but we caught a few! The property manager was readily available and easy to communicate with. We would stay again!

Relaxation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo! It is very pretty, decorated nicely, and provides everything a person needs to reside for a week and cook most anything you would want. The view is spectacular, and the pool was perfect. We occasionally visited the beach, but we found the pool to be just as satisfying. The restaurant next door--Shipp's Harbor Grill, is excellent, and even has a twilight hour (early bird) from 3-6 with some menu items greatly reduced. If you enjoy walking, it's nice to walk around the complex and there are trails not far from the condo. It was an enjoyable week and we have absolutely no complaints.

Perfect in Every Way

This apartment/condo surpassed our expectations… beautifully decorated yet comfortably furnished with a view of the harbor that we enjoyed from the living area and balcony. Our host, Darlene, was very helpful and responded immediately to the few questions we had about how things worked. We really enjoyed the balcony for viewing the activity in the bay and just visiting with each other while we played cards and snacked. Our family used the pool in the evening to relax when the younger children had ended their day. We always looked forward to coming back to such a beautiful, relaxing “home away from home” when we went out for the day. Thank you, Darlene, for sharing your home with us. We will visit again.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the Moorings! Condo was very clean and beautiful! Kids loved the pool and we were able to fish from the pier. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was wonderful and a cable TV in each room was a bonus! There was plenty of room. Lovely view from the balcony. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay

Darlene was great to deal with, we had an issue with the refrigerator and she was on the problem very quickly. Property was clean, we all loved the pool. Condo has everything one needs for their stay.

Beyond expectations!

Owner allowed us an extra night due to my daughter in law and daughter having a car accident and being in ER til 3am- I called and asked if we could stay another day to rest up for our 12 hour drive home & she did not hesitate and actually checked on my girls once we headed home. I told her we are already planning our family vacation for next summer. 5 Stars from all of us!

Wonderful views!

This condo was a perfect fit for our family. The second floor view was perfect. We watched the boats come and go and could hear the birds as they flew over the water. All the bedrooms had their own bathroom which was great. It was a 8-10 minute drive to the beach access points. We fished at The Pass daily and had great luck. Gouper and Blue fish. The kitchen had all that we needed. Outside furniture was comfy. The owner was very responsive to questions I had prior to arrival. We will definitely return to the unit 208. :)

Great place

The property was great, and the owner was great. The complex itself has some full time owner/occupants who seem a little "anti-renter" and not only ask if you are a renter, but tend to make it uncomfortable for you if you are a "renter" which is unfortunate because it is a nice place and I think they could be more welcoming and friendly.

Family Retreat

The unit was found to be exactly as depicted on the website. It was modern, comfortable, with a beautiful decor. The view from the balcony is quite stunning. The kitchen is equipped with all the usual accessories from home. Our stay was enjoyed by all. Hope to see you next year.

We thought the condo was very nice and the view of the boats and bay and it was not that far from restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. Perhaps you provided this information but we were confused on using the television remotes, batteries we replaced because of the TV said lower power. We did not know exactly where to deposit trash but finally figured it out.

A Fantastic Family Vacation

While many families are fortunate to take yearly vacations, such an opportunity is rare for our family of seven. That being the case, it is important to us for such opportunities to be both special and rememberable times for our children. Our time spent in The Moorings 208 at Orange Beach was just what we desired! Upon arrival, we had a little delay as there was a miscommunication regarding entry codes. This may well have been our fault being first time VBRO users, but the issue was quickly resolved by the property owner and VBRO. Driving through the gate it was evident that the facility grounds were very well kept. Entering the condominium, we literally shot a short video to allow our family at home to see the beauty. From furniture, to decor, to cleanliness, the accommodations were extremely nice yet very welcoming. Then you get to the deck to look down over the inviting zero entry pool and looking out over the yachts to the islands in the bay. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, fishing off the docks, walking to a restaurant, and only a short drive takes you to your choice of multiple picturesque beaches. It truly was a fantastic family vacation. One that was both special, rememberable, and we would highly recommend!

Amazing Property

Just spent the month of November at the Moorings in Orange Beach and enjoyed every minute. We found the property exactly as advertised, and the owner, Darlene , was excellent to work with and when we had one small issue with the key-less entry system, she had it replaced immediately. We found the unit extremely comfortable and very convenient to all the local attractions. The views over the marina were amazing and the terrace was the perfect location for a coffee or drink. We would just like to thank Darlene again, for being the perfect hostess and we really look forward to returning to her property. Ron & Mary Lou

I am a Pharmacist in southwest Alabama. My family and I have always loved the water and we are drawn to it every chance we get, whether it be at our cabin on Lake Jordan or The Moorings at Orange Beach fishing and water sports are our escape from the 'every day grind'.

We chose The Moorings because of the peaceful atmosphere and the views. We enjoy the beach for a while, and we always make the short trip to the public beach to put our feet in the sand and play in the waves, but when we are ready to relax the bay is the place for us. We love walking along the docks talking to the boat captains and watching the boats come in with there catch. The pool is as nice as you will find anywhere ( which is where the kids spend most of there time anyway no matter where we stay). To me the Moorings has it all.

We enjoy the workout room and sauna at The Moorings. Shopping and dining are close at hand. Only a few short minutes to the beach. Did I mention the VIEW?
