In front of the dike begins the nature reserve Katinger Watt, a recreational area on the former seabed, which invites to walk, fish, cycle, ride, swim and surf. Nearby is the well-known and oldest tavern on Eiderstedt Wilhelm Andresen. The thatched cottage is about 320 years old. Here you can enjoy coffee, cake and small dishes in a cozy environment. As a rule, Willem personally receives you. You can even marry in the tavern. Tip: You have to try the egg grog!
