Sweet reTreat (previously known as Sweet Escape) is a renovated, historic cottage, less than a block to Queen Street and close to everything Niagara-on-the-Lake has to offer from restaurants, theatre, wineries, and shopping. The queen bedroom has a gas fireplace with ensuite privilege to the family bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a double bed. There is an additional powder room on the main floor.



The main floor foyer opens to a relaxing living area where friends and family can gather, sit, and relax with a gas fireplace. There is a desk as well in case you must work while on holiday.



The large kitchen is well equipped to serve up your morning coffee and favourite recipes (check out the Sweet reTreat Cookbook at the cottage for some great recipes - and add your own):



-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started

-Stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher

-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)

-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths

-Salt and pepper



Or walk a few buildings down to Queen Street for bakeries, restaurants, theatres, and shopping.

Enjoy an evening glass of local wine on the private back patio. The back deck is equipped with a gas BBQ/grill. Or enjoy the enclosed sunroom with lounge chairs.



Laundry is on site supplied with:



-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets



Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.



Take a short walk to Queen’s Royal Park and the famous Niagara-on-the-Lake gazebo to check out the waterfront, rent a kayak or watch the sunset with great views of Fort Niagara. Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club is only 2 blocks away. Niagara Falls is just a short drive away along the scenic Niagara River Parkway.
