Super easy access to RMNP and downtown. So many thoughtful conveniences - music and lights welcomed us, charging stations, and a welcome basket to name a few. Comfortable, clean and plenty of room for all of us. A pleasure to work with property manager.

Perfect getaway

This was such a cozy and fun place to stay for our family. We loved the coffee bar and the little decks with a mountain view. The kids enjoyed the game room snd seeing lots of elk. The property was clean and the communication excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Great vacation home for a family

This well appointed home is in a great location for both RMNP and downtown Estes Park. There is plenty of space both inside and on the multiple decks for one large family are two families to share the home.

One of the better equipped houses in VRBO.

Great layout for large groups and conveniently located just a few minutes from town. Anything you need is in this house. The property mgmt/owners were very responsive.

This property was fantastic! Everything was smooth between check in, staying, and check out. Communication was easy with the owners. We truly appreciated all of the kitchen amenities provided. We’ve never stayed in an house that was this prepared for all types of guests. Truly a great property!

Great rental experience!

I’ve stayed at many rentals and this one is top of my list for a great experience! The home is immaculately clean, cute cabin decor, stocked with everything anyone could need, great communication, and close to town and RMNP. We had an amazing time and will look for this home again to rent in the future!

Great location!

This house was just what we needed for our first siblings’ trip. Very cozy and well stocked. Super convenient to downtown and RMNP. The homeowner was easy to communicate with and answered right away!! We really enjoyed our stay in Estes Park and Happy Place!

Family Wedding

Spacious and well located.

We used the place as a crash pad for several of a wedding party and it had everything we needed. Place was spacious with several king beds, and very clean. Instructions were clear and the location was fine for getting into town. Owner provided some small touches that were nice and appreciated. I would definitely rent the unit again.

Great location!

We had a really nice stay. The house was comfortable for 4 adults and 3 kids and was situated in a perfect spot. We enjoyed many features of the area including the beauty of RMNP. We had elk in the yard several evenings which the kids loved! The weather was a bit warm and although there were plenty of fans, the storm windows were on making ventilation a challenge.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and found this home comfortable. A visit from the Elk is fun for kids and adults alike. Estes Park usually has chilly temps and snow into May and beyond so storm windows are not taken off until sometime in June. This summer, June was unseasonably warm. We are sorry this impacted your stay.

What an incredible stay we had in Estes Park. First of all we were blessed but almost cursed with Estes being in the bullseye of supposedly a very rare spring snowmageddon storm. In 1.5 days we received about 24” of snow. I preface this review with this because our host Leah went above and beyond to keep us informed on road conditions as we were up against a check out window this morning after the final snow flake fell. She had a man plow the driveway shovel snow out from around our car TWICE. 2 days of plowing is what it took for us to depart. On the blessed end of- what an absolute beautiful sight it was like a winter wonderland. Our dogs loved every minute of it as well. Leah also gave us advice on road conditions and made sure we knew if we were not able to get out today that the house was available for an additional day before the next guest arrived which was nice to know as we were scrambling trying to figure out where were would be able to go if still snowed in with 2 dogs. Never have we ever had a host so responsive - problem solving - and accommodating. Now on to the home. What a treat this house was. Plenty of room for a group as it has 3 King rooms 1 Queen. 2 beautiful bathrooms and 2 separate living areas which would be great for multi families or family with kids. Absolutely nothing was needed as far as essentials which is rare. 8’ fenced in backyard - hot tub with crocks & robes. Every spice you could need and then some. Most complete house ever!!!

Family friendly mountain getaway

Our family was very pleased with the Estes Park getaway. The house was extremely clean and the upper and lower floor plan gave us plenty of room with 2 small children. We loved that we could walk into town and explore. The restaurant suggestions from Joe were spot on. The kitchen was super well equipped and a dining table for 6 worked well for our Christmas dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and we had a deer family sitting and relaxing in the yard. We look forward to returning.

Comfortable, spacious and well-appointed

Stayed in the house with a group of friends in order to have easy access to RMNP for a long weekend. The house was very well appointed (kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms) and both very clean and comfortable. Communications with the property manager were clear and easy. Easy access to downtown and the grocery store, although definitely more conveninent to drive than walk. Overall it was a great deal for the size and quality of the house.

Excellent family getaway

My family of three (2 adults + 4 year old) had an amazing stay at Happy Place! The property was large for our family, but we loved all the space and flexibility it gave us. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfy and the bathrooms are clean and updated. The decor was fun and beautiful and added to the “escape from home” we were looking for in our first family getaway in 2 years. The access to RMNP and Estes Park were perfect and we already have thoughts of coming back with extended family. We didn’t need to contact the property managers while on site, but did before and after with very quick and helpful responses. Highly recommend!

Perfect for large family

Our family of 8 adults stayed here 6/14-17. We loved the house itself as there was space for us in the living area to all hang out. It’s very well stocked with plenty of towels for all of us, coffee (!!), spices, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. There was room for all of us around the kitchen table and there were several nice areas to sit out on the deck, too. The location was nice. It was a quick drive to the lake and the downtown. The hosts were easy to work with and responsive to messages before the trip. We have no reason to contact them during the trip because we didn’t need anything!

Best VRBO in Estes

Our family of 9 does a fall getaway every year. Everyone in our party agreed this was the best VRBO yet. Big, comfy beds with lots of pillows and a tv in every room. A kitchen stocked with every pan, bowl, cup, and utensil you can imagine. Darling decor! The location felt like we were definitely in the mountains, but we could’ve easily walked downtown. Plus, this property was SPOTLESS! Not a speck of dust to be found. The owner was very responsive and communicative when we had questions. This property will be our #1 choice from now on!

Perfectly charming & perfectly located!

We spent 4 perfect days with our family at this charming, clean, excellently equipped, & conveniently laid-out house. We had ample living space and loved having a separate room for everyone—sometimes sharing ISN’T best ;) The views from the windows were beautiful (Lake Estes from one!) and we walked the sweet neighborhood every morning. Town was less than 5 minute drive away which was key with little kids in tow. Couldn’t want for anything else in the kitchen when we prepared multiple meals. Lastly the owner was so accommodating and more than generous with helpful tips and recommendations, many of which we put to use. As long as our family’s schedules merge, we’ll be booking this lovely place AGAIN!
