Downtown Boothbay Harbor Vintage Summer Camp Suite

Located in the heart of downtown Boothbay Harbor, you’ll be entranced by views of lobster fisherman returning to the wharf. Spend a warm summer day exploring the quaint antique shops and enjoy some of Maine’s best seafood. Hop on a harbor cruise to catch sight of whales, lighthouses, seals, and puffins.

Before booking, check all photos and read all descriptions carefully to make sure you are okay with the stairs.

The Vintage Camp Suite is a one bedroom, one bathroom suite with attached living room. You will enter through a private entrance, up two flights of exterior stairs. A buffet with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker is included. This Suite is decorated in the style of a kitchsy, whimsical throwback to summer camp. You’ll feel as though you are nestled amongst the treetops in this cozy attic space. There are stunning water views of Boothbay Harbor from the living room, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking or kayaking.

This suite sleeps two people and is outfitted with a king size bed. The living room is equipped with a Roku television and WIFI is included. There is one parking spot provided; street parking is limited to two hours. The backyard is shared with the adjacent units, which may be occupied during your stay.
A short ten minute drive away is renowned Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, you’ll be enchanted by the beautiful foliage and troll sculptures. There are over 30 restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance for you to enjoy.

The location is amazing. Walk to everything. And the Italian restaurant next door is so good. Yes, the place is small (bathroom very small) but we knew that going in. It was perfect for a long weekend stay.

Wonderful location to the restaurants, art galleries, and shops. Bathroom and shower are small, the steps are steep, but wonderful views, spacious living area, and comfortable king size bed. We visited past tourist season and loved the environment. One of the top restaurants in area was next door as was great little coffee shop a short walk. Definitely a great value, great communication, and location.

This upstairs cottage was cute and clean, and we loved the vintage cabin vibe. We were designated an off-street parking space up the driveway, and because the room is in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, it was easy to walk to the boats, restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Loved that the king bed was firm and super comfortable. The bathroom was small and the stairs were steep, but it worked well for us.

The property was clean, simply furnished with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was incredibly small with an airplane sized sink. Future visitors should be aware of the 29 steep wooden steps at the back of the building, which lead up to the apartment. This is not easy when carrying luggage. The steep and poorly paved driveway is not lit at night nor is the first flight of stairs off to the apartment. This could pose a safety issue. The apartment is located close to the harbor, shops and restaurants, which makes it convenient, once you get down those steps... It would be helpful if owner supplied basic directions for using the TV.

This property is in the perfect location to take in Boothbay Harbor. Right across from the boat docks in the center of town. Many very nice casual restaurants and shopping are nearby. Steve and Julie made check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was absolutely as described. Would definitely stay again!

ME Parked and walked to everything

Absolutely the view looking for in Boothbay. ME. All restaurants within walking distance with plenty of shopping,or just hanging out on the walking bridge. Small Apt with just the essentials, and a wonderful comfortable King Bed.Be sure your view even watching the Fog Roll in from the Bay, is delightful.

Amazing stay

We had a great stay. Julie met us when we arrived and was pleasantly warm and welcoming. The property, although small, was exactly what we needed for our short stay in Boothbay. It is centrally located to fun shops and great restaurants. Thank you!

Despite the two stories of outdoor stairs, this was a wonderful rental. Comfortable living area, really comfortable king bed, great view of the harbor and of the heart of restaurants, shops and harbor activities.

Loved the View

This unit was just right for the two of us. The description and pictures on the listing are accurate. Everything worked as it should and the unit was very clean and neat. There was plenty of water pressure and hot water in the bathroom. There are numerous conveniently located outlets to charge devices. As others have mentioned, the bed is very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The location of the unit is central to many shops, restaurants, and the footbridge. The best part for us was the view from the window. We were able to relax after a busy day and watch the activity in the harbor.

In town and very convenient to restaurants and shops. If we ever come back I wouldn't rent the third level. But other than that it was very nice. Everything was in working order.

Great Trip

Charming with many highlights!

This historic house was just what we wanted in a trip to Boothbay Harbor! It was a cozy, adorably decorated, cottage-like, very comfortable “room with a view.” We were right in the middle of everything with easy walks to restaurants, shops and outdoor activities! Other highlights included super-friendly and helpful hosts, awesome king sized bed, Keurig coffee maker, new tv and plenty of outlets. Great stay!

The perfect stay in Boothbay Harbor

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and we couldn’t of been happier with the stay. We walked in to a very clean and cute apartment that had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The location is perfect to just walk out the door and be in the heart of the harbor with restaurants, shops and activities all right there. Julie was so nice and responsive to our questions. Would love to stay there again in the future.
