We stayed at this property for 3 weeks The rooms were good sized , the kitchen and bathrooms were nice The bedrooms were nice but one had to walk through one to get to a staircase to the upstairs bedroom, no big deal Overall a decent place, biggest plus was central air conditioning !Washer dryer worked well as well as newish fridge with a working ice machine The not so good: sofas were uncomfortable to sit on, no pans for induction stove, big clumps of hair in corners of shower, smoke alarms weren’t connected, traffic noise due to being on a busy street, sheer curtain in upstairs bedroom with sun blasting in at 5:30 AM- had to put a sheet over window so I could sleep in. I would give the place a 3.5 out of 5 We looked at many places in this price range and this was probably the best in the area The manager Rocky responded very quickly to our messages and offered us solutions to our concerns

Well… my stay wasn’t exactly planned. A plumbing disaster at home decided I needed an emergency relocation, and Rocky absolutely came through. He accommodated me on incredibly short notice, took the stress level down about ten notches, and made a bad situation a whole lot easier.The house was exactly what I needed—clean, comfortable, peaceful, and stocked with everything to make me feel at home. And can we talk about the technology? I walked in thinking I’d just survive a few days and left feeling like I earned a minor in Smart Home Living. Rocky was responsive, kind, and the kind of host you hope to find when life throws you a curveball. You can tell he genuinely cares that his guests have a great experience, not just a place to sleep.Would I recommend Rocky? In a heartbeat. The next time I stay, I’d prefer it be because I want a getaway—not because my plumbing decided to audition for a disaster movie—but either way, I’d book with Rocky again without hesitation.Thanks again for turning an unexpected mess into a comfortable stay. That’s five-star hospitality in my book.

general walking areas could use some cleaning but overall, a very clean place, well designed and meets your needs. Access to many necessities are within walking distance and if not, basically everything else you'll need is within 3-5 miles with many offerings.Rocky is a 5 star host and was available every time we needed anything. Strongly recommend this place!

My mother and I stayed here for five nights. Rocky was exceptionally kind, responsive, and easygoing. The mattresses were excellent, the shower was clean, and we slept well without back pain.However, the property had significant cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues. Several upholstered pieces were visibly stained, discolored, and worn, including an ottoman with a large brown stain. The carpets were heavily stained, there were marks on the walls, an unfinished plywood panel beside the bed, and bugs in the kitchen. The smoke detector had been disabled and had no batteries.The fragrance in the room and bedding was extremely strong. After two days of migraines, I washed the bedding off-site with unscented detergent, then had to buy new sheets before it improved. The upstairs room also became very hot if the A/C was turned off and developed a strong dog-urine odor.There were no bedside lamps, reachable light switches, alarm clocks, or nearby outlets. Parking is on the street, and a woman from the physical therapy practice next door repeatedly came outside and yelled when we used the common alley to turn around.The rental may suit younger travelers seeking a basic place near the city, but may not be great for more mature travelers, anyone with accessibility needs, or those sensitive to fragrances. Rocky was very kind, but the property needs some attention.

It was a pleasure hosting you and your mother. We were surprised by several of the concerns mentioned, as many were not brought to our attention during your stay. We encourage all guests to let us know immediately if something is not meeting expectations, as we take pride in responding quickly and would have gladly addressed any issues while you were here. Our property is professionally cleaned and inspected between every reservation, and guest safety is a priority. We regularly inspect and maintain the home, including safety equipment, and promptly address any maintenance needs that arise. Likewise, we take pest prevention seriously and have a routine maintenance program in place. Regarding the fragrance, we understand that scent sensitivity varies greatly from person to person. We use freshly laundered linens and standard cleaning products that most guests find pleasant, but we recognize that individual preferences can differ. As for parking and the neighboring businesses, street parking is standard for this area, and while we cannot control interactions outside the property, we strive to provide guests with clear arrival instructions and are always available to help if any concerns arise. We appreciate that you recognized our efforts to be accommodating throughout your stay. We remain committed to providing

Just what I needed

This property is centrally located on Long Island, which is what we were looking for. Easy to get to all highways. Minutes from the train station. Perfect for business trips. Plenty of restaurants in the area, and on the corner is a place with good pizza for take out, but the staff there is blah. Anyway, the beds at this property are comfy. Loft bedroom is quiet, and has a kick @$$ AC vent to cool the room down quickly. Rocky (the host with the most) was the best. Available 24/7. Oh, be sure to visit the Milleridge Inn and see the peacocks. So many of them, and so beautiful. My Mom and sisters waitressed there in the 70s, and it has not changed too much. Enjoy!
