This is an 80 square meters family apartment with balcony on rue LinnƩ near the metro and university JUSSIEU. It's on the 5th floor of a lime stone 1901 building. There is an elevator and a beautiful wooden staircase.

The living room is large and full of Balinese and Laotian style furniture and cushions, it has a fireplace and a flat screen TV. This is where we relax or gather with friends for a chat and a drink. There is also a brand new comfortable sofa bed for 2.
The dinner table fits 6 people comfortably. If you are up to 8, there are stools too.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has lots of crockery as we often invite friends over.

The AC is like a small fridge in each room with a tube to evacuate hot air because we are not allowed to hang units outside

The apartment has a very central location in a lively and safe neibourhood. It has a very good transport connection : 100 meters to metro Jussieu, line 7 (North-South) and line 10 (East-West), 30 meters to buses 67 (direct bus to ChĆ¢telet) and 89 (direct bus to Montparnasse train station) 300 meters to bus 63 direct to Trocadero from where you can have the best view of the Eiffel Tower, and to the MusĆ©e Marmottan
- 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame, Ile Saint Louis, Jardin du Luxembourg, Mouffetard, Marais, Bastille etc.
- 12 minutes away by metro from Le Louvre, Palais Royal, Opera, Marais, Bastille.

3 open air food markets, bakeries, pastries shops, several supermarkets, biological shops, pharmacies are near by. We also have lots of restaurants for all budgets (French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Libanese)

Wonderful place

Perfect place for our family vacation to Paris. Vilay was more than helpful in all ways. Extremely close to two metro lines, lots of room in the place to relax and many areas to unpack and feel like home. A million thank yous, we will remember the place forever :)

Home away from Home

Vijay was a gracious host. The eclectic flat is perfect for a family and the a/c was a must. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to Notre Dame and bus transportation. We will definitely be back to visit Vijay!

A really lovely flat in a great part of the city - easy to everything and felt like coming home every day. So much nicer than the corporate rentals so common on these platforms. Amazing host, great comfortable flat. Absolutely nothing negative to say - highly recommended!

great stay late June!

excellent location minutes from metro/subway. great local restaurants and shops. kids really liked the setup. elevator was for great luggage after long flight from Canada. great communication from landlord. also has a laundry machine with well equipped kitchen. portable AC units available which we didn't need to use since nights were quite cool. very spacious for a large family of 6+!

Lovely apartment

This apartment was spacious and lovely, with beautiful plants, interesting Asian dƩcor, and a small balcony overlooking the road. Vilay was incredibly accommodating, offering to rearrange the cleaning schedule so we could check in early after our overnight flight. She was attentive and communicative. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great location, just down the block from the jardin des plantes. I would highly recommend!

Great spot to call home in Paris

This apartment was a great find. The six of us (two adults, kids from 12-17) fit comfortably - more would be tight but workable. We booked a few months in advance and over the entire time, Vilay was very communicative and helpful, including making sure we were settled in, pointing us in the right direction for use of taxis as well as local markets, Boulangerie/Patisseries, of which there are a few within walking distance that made for delightful breakfast. The cafe across the street is exceptional. The apartment was equipped with all the comforts of home, and the decor was very cozy. All told, we had a great time and would stay on a future Paris visit. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Comfortable and eclectic Paris apartment

Historic with great views, high ceilings, tall window/doors, great ventilation. Move in here to finish a novel or hang out with family. Host is gracious and lives nearby. She communicates well and is very nice, unlike most of the people we encountered in this city. Enough sleeping areas and beds for the 6 of us. The split bathroom helps. Big kitchen and easy to cook in. A petite elevator can help to reach the fifth floor and views. Flowers on the balconies and plants inside. Washing machine was nice to have available.

This landlord has this unit under long term lease and wouldnā€™t cancel our reservation or give us an adequate reply prior to our ARRIVAL at the apartment. The tenant was very kind and embarrassed for the landlord, but this landlord should be kicked off of VRBO permanently.

A good apartment in the very center of Paris

It is a big beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment in a very central location, about 15 min of walking from Notre Dame. Communication with Vilay was easy and she made every effort to make our stay more enjoyable.

Nice apartment in great location

Perfect for a couple or two, near a lot of tourist sites and large variety of restaurants. Quiet, well furnished. Be mindful, however, that the apt. Had only one full bathroom, yet it is split into two rooms. That's not a bath and a half in my book. Also. Check-in was complicated because landlord was not in town. He tried his best to make it simple, but it really would have been better if someone had physically shown us where the key was (in a different building down the block) and how to get in. Lastly, the apt could use a bit more lighting.

Great VRBO in Central Paris

Our stay at Vilay Marchalā€™s apartment was excellent. Our hostess was so very helpful throughout our stay. The apt. was spacious, very clean, nice kitchen and bathroom facilities. The elevator worked fine for us three adult ladies and our luggage. The location was advantageous to walking to museums, markets, cafes, etc.... We would recommend this apt. to friends.

Vilay and the apartment are both charming. The apartment is conveniently located to explore Paris. The immediate are has a wonderful patisserie across the street and excellent restaurants a-few steps away from the entrance. We had a wonderful time.

Felt like home away from home!

We adored our little Paris apartment during out 3 week stay. The apartment was so unique and comfortable, quiet and warm. Vilay was there to welcome us and tell us all the details, and then we settled in easily. We got to know the delightful neighborhood, shopped at the numerous local open air markets, and cooked almost every meal at our "home". We rarely ate out as we wanted to enjoy every moment in the space. Vilay even brought by little chocolates and Easter treats for my 4 year old! We would stay again and recommend this lovely spot in a heartbeat. Thank you Vilay for everything!

like a beautiful boat in Paris

Rather than repeat what other's have said, I will simply say the place was in a perfect location, was clean, lovely, designed like a beautiful boat with lots of teak and well designed spaces. As a family of four we did not feel cramped and were very comfortable. Being able to do laundry was a huge plus. Vilay was very kind and exceedingly helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic apartment and fantastic owner

I highly recommend VRBO and the apartment we stayed at 13 Rue Linne in Paris. Booking was easy and Vilay, the apartment owner, made things easy. Not only that, Vilay went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us be comfortable and find our way around. The apartment was very comfortable, well furnished, and close to the Metro and buses for easy access to the entire city. The Sacre Coeur is a short 15 minute walk. The neighborhood is great and there's a brilliant Algerian restaurant with great food, wine, and service, on the same block. Across the street you can get good coffee and pastries in the morning. I heartily recommend the apartment we stayed at and VRBO. Our family had a fantastic stay.

Our family of 5 (parents with 2 teenage boys and a 6 year old girl) loved the apartment. Very convenient location with a Metro stop within half a block, very near natural history museum, easy walk to Ile de la Cite/Notre Dame/Ste Chapelle. Very nice market at Place Monge for fresh food several times/week, several grocery stores nearby. Sleeping arrangements very flexible and worked out fine. Well-stocked kitchen. Owner extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We are located in the center of the ancient, most beautiful and safe part of Paris, The Latin Quarter. It has a beautiful and green environment with 3 main gardens : Jardin des Plantes at 50 meters, les ArĆŖnes de LutĆØce the roman arenas at 50 metres, Jardin du Luxembourg at 10 minutes.
You won't believe it, we allo have 22 cinemas for 25000 in habitants. It's a village :))

We are located near the Campus of Jussieu. The neighbourhood is typically French, lively and cool. Lots of cafƩs, restaurants, street markets etc. The French writer Georges Perrec used to live at this address ' 13 rue LinnƩ ' and Douglas Kennedy's novel 'The woman in the fifth' took place here too. The apartment has a flowered balcony and a nice view. It's at 10 minutes walk to the Seine where you can stroll or jog or enjoy dancing rock and roll or Tango during the summer evenings or have a picnic there and visit the free open air sculpture museum.
