Stepping through the door you'll feel like you've been transported back to a groovier, more stylin' era... (just without the smoke!)
This condo is a unique retreat located in the heart of the city (at Peachtree Towers, 300 Peachtree St). This is a NO SMOKING unit without a balcony. One parking space will be included, when booking please let me know if you will be using it and I will send details.
Right next to DragonCON, GWCC, Phillips Arena, Georgia Dome, America's MART, CNN Center, World of Coke, the Aquarium, and much more. Close to everything, right next to MARTA stations making it easy to plan your visit. An easy 30 minutes by MARTA to the Atlanta Airport.
The space
This remodeled unit has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 2 twin day beds OR KING in the living room for the ability to comfortably sleep 4 people. Located on the 2nd floor this condo overlooks the intersection of Peachtree & Baker. Instead of being way up above everything, it really feels like you're right in the heart of the city. This unit is a NO SMOKING unit and does not have a balcony. By booking this unit you agree that you have read the house rules and understand that a fine will be charged if you smoke in the unit.
Guest access
You will have the whole condo to yourselves. Much better than a hotel room because you will have a complete kitchen, spacious living room, dining area and bar, and huge TV!
Other things to note
I want to make sure to provide you with a 5 star experience and that you have everything that you need. So please don't hesitate to reach out if you need something. This is a mid century themed condo so please keep in mind that furnishings may not be brand new (although some are new reproductions), and may show some wear and tear as mid century items are not brand new. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for your stay. The condo has recently been remodeled, with new ceiling fans installed (please note the remotes do not remove from the wall.)
The condo will be fully stocked with enough towels for the number of quests plus extras, including hand towels and wash clothes. There will be shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available, just bring your own toothbrush & toothpaste, actually I have those now just in case you forget yours. The condo is fully stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. I have tried to make sure that you will have everything you need but please reach out if I have missed any details and you need anything!

When not selling real estate Lorrie Ann enjoys volunteering with the Georgia House Rabbit Society. The organization provides vital information to bunny parents and potential parents looking to adopt a rabbit.
Lorrie Ann is a member of "The Atlanta Time Travelers" social group. She regularly attends events in period costume including volunteering for the Historic Oakland Cemetery Foundation. Her favorite fashion period is the 1950s and 60s. She wears the styles of this era daily so you will know her when you see her! With her sense of style and personality she's unforgettable. She also loves to attend roaring 20s parties and speakeasy parties in full 1920s attire and is eager for the 20s to come back around. Lorrie Ann loves to dress up in Victorian and Edwardian styles when she volunteers at events held at the Historic Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta.
She is also a member of the Atlanta Preservation Society and enjoys going on walking tours in the city, and events to learn more about the history of the area.

Location, Location, Location! This condo is a unique retreat located in the heart of the city. Right next to GWCC, Phillips Arena, Georgia Dome, America's MART, CNN Center, World of Coke, the Aquarium, and much more. Close to everything, right next to MARTA stations making it easy to plan your visit. An easy trip by MARTA to the Airport.
This property was recently renovated however I tried to keep many of the original details intact, such as the beautiful wood parquet floors and the original bathroom tile. In places those things were not intact I replaced with something of mid century design. I added a chrome exhaust fan in the bathroom in mid century style. There is a mid century bar in the condo with mid century glassware available for you to use during your stay. A gold vein mirror was added behind the bar to add to the mid century feel and it makes for a great photo op, as seen in my profile photo. I considered adding a mid century couch but I didn't want to sacrifice the comfort of guests and instead opted for 2 comfortable twin day beds in the living room that serve as the couch when not in use as beds. You also normally wouldn't see a 86" HDTV in that time but I added one for your enjoyment during your stay.
Peachtree Towers was built in 1962 by the C.D. Spangler Construction Company. At the time, the 23-story building was considered a skyscraper reaching a height of 240 feet and was the tallest residential building in Atlanta. It was the first residential building in the center of the city and now consists of 330 residential condominiums including studio, one and two bedroom units.
The hallways and common areas have all be renovated and upgraded to modern standards. All units have also been made more energy efficient with the installation of double pane windows. One of the benefits of the original construction was the quality of sound-proofing of the units. In 1962, the sound-proofing was hailed as the best and this has stood the test of time.
