Shhh….Spokane’s best kept secret! Here you will have your own private waterfront house in the heart of Spokane. We invite you to relax on the river with your family and make a s’more after on the bonfire! Here you will have your own private dock and beaches well. Keep in mind this home is a playground for all four seasons, being only 25 minutes away from mount spokane ski resort and 25 minutes to Coeur d’Alene. The Centennial Trail is walking distance and the renowned Arbor Crest Winery is a 5 minute drive away! However our personal favorite is Rocket Bakery, right around the corner where we get our favorite coffee and pastries for breakfast.
Our newly renovated 1950’s home is waiting for you with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and a laundry room to make this a perfect home away from home for your group or family.
This property does include private river access, private dock and beach, included FREE water toys (2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks) with life vests provided on the property. We kindly ask for no loud parties, no smoking and no pets. Lastly, please treat our home like your would yours.

We kindly ask NO MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE ALLOWED ON OUR PROPERTY AT A TIME. Our neighbors are full time residents, and their comfort is important to us. Any larger is considered an event or party. NO SMOKING of any kind in the house or outside while on our property. We do host for small events. This means 20 people or less. Our event fee is $650 additional on your total. This fee is charged once you check into house and get comfortable. Examples of events: birthday party, retirement party, memorial service, graduation party.

Best house in Spokane!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The host was fantastic, the house was super clean with so many amenities, and the backyard is amazing! Highly recommend this property!! It exceeded all our expectations!

Had some of my wife’s best friends over to celebrate her retirement. This is a very special property, so comfortable and well maintained. The place is a lot nicer than it appears on the Vrbo website

Great on the river house

We loved our weekend at this adorable house. They did such a cute renovation & thought of everything! So many spaces for hanging out - loved the fire pit & kayaks. Would definitely come back. It was perfect for extended family gathering for graduation weekend!

If you're looking for a waterfront home on one of the most beautiful rivers anywhere, without breaking the bank, look no farther. The setting is epic. The house is so charming. The check in was so easy. The host was gracious and available. Fire pit was amazing. Beds super comfy. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home, yard, and views of the Spokane River ~ we truly enjoyed our time here. The home would definitely benefit from a deep clean and handyman visit, but was otherwise lovely.

Wonderful property in Spokane

This house was perfect for our weekend stay in Spokane with our family. The property was clean, well maintained, and tastefully updated. It is close to downtown Spokane (10-15min) and had lots of amenities near by. The property hosts were so easy to work. We needed a late checkout and they were more than accommodating to help us out! Will definitely stay here again next time we are back in Spokane.

Great place to stay!

We loved staying at the river club. It is a beautiful property within an enjoyable walking distance to other conveniences. We arose each morning to see crew teams rowing the Spokane River. Lovely neighborhood and the home is well stocked with amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The hosts are wonderful and do everything to make your stay perfect. We were also working and found the WiFi was exceptional - from the house all the way down to the riverfront. It was a great stay!

Was the perfect place to stay as we came to town to meet friends and ski the local mountains.

Mt Spokane is only 40 min from this house. Also easy to get to Silver Mt, 49° N. ,Look Out Mt. This home is very comfortable, clean and quiet. Looks just like the pictures. Easy walk to restaurants, bar and bakery. We plan on coming back. Would be so fun I’m the summer being right on the water. Truly has lots to offer year round. Host were a dream to work with.

Like a Boutique Hotel

Our family adored this charming and well loved property on the Spokane River for my daughter’s college graduation. Although small in appearance from the outside, this home utilized both indoor and outdoor space brilliantly. The sunken living room was cozy and afforded many conversation areas for our family. The amenities here (e.g. the cozy towels, utensils, well appointed kitchen, coffee selection, smore skewers and fire pit) made this feel like a boutique hotel. The outdoor space was lovely, as were the plantings and hardscaping, overlooking the River and birdlife, including ducks and eagles. You will love this home!!!

So clean & Bright

I loved our stay on Max & Margaret's river home. Their home is cozy with a stunning view of the river. The kitchen is well equipped and the room sizes are larger than they look in the photos. Very comfortable beds with nice linens. (that's important to me!) Max & Marg were wonderful and responsive hosts. We will definitely be back.

Beauty on the River

We rented this home for a school event, a place we could enjoy communicate if classmates while we gave final presentations in a masters program. This was the perfect place to stay for the day and hang out, enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful outside decor of this home! The hosts were accommodating and communicative. We’re already planning our next day!!

little slice of heaven

“So happy we found the little slice of heaven to call home for the last few days, we came in to visit some family and could host a small bon fire every night and rewind about good time. We we skiing at mount Spokane while we were there, it’s a car hop away, about 30 mins. The hosts were so nice and easy to communicate with. You could tell they really go out of their way to make your stay amazing. Thank you Max and Margaret! We will be back!”

My name is Margaret, an interior designer originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana but fell in love with the city of Spokane and moved here! Max was born and raised in the city of Spokane. We are so proud of our home and are both honored to share our city with you. We love all things nature. Catch us on a hike, paddle boarding, or our personal favorite… at rocket bakery:)
