Right in the middle of Tobin Hill, you'll find our cozy, stylishly decorated 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. Just a short walk (less than 1 mile) from the San Antonio River and the famous Pearl District. This gorgeous retreat offers the perfect base for exploring our vibrant city.

ALL are welcome! Enjoy the convenience of free WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, and a smart TV for relaxing evenings. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to whip up delicious meals, while the indoor and private outdoor dining spaces provide comfortable options to enjoy them.

The stunning Pearl District beckons with trendy shops, restaurants, and a lively atmosphere and is just a short walk from the cottage. Don't miss the farmer's market on weekend mornings! For families, the San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium are just a 3-minute drive from your doorstep. After a day of exploration, retreat to the comfort of your home-away-from-home, where you can unwind on the porch or enjoy the selection of games, books, and toys. Your dog (or 2) are welcome with the applicable pet fee. The fenced yard allows plenty of space for furry friends to frolic in the grass or hang with you in the private lounge area.

Perfect Spot

We stayed in this vrbo for about a week in June. It was perfectly located to downtown but also easy access to everything else in San Antonio. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home

Very nice little home and great amenities and perfect if you have dogs with you. Very convenient location lots of restaurants near by and walking distance. A little loud on weekend as was referenced in listing as has nightclubs across street. If don’t mind that a great spot. Would book again for sure!

We love the location, it’s very walkable to so much food and community spaces. It’s the perfect amount of space and it’s well appointed with all the day to day necessities while traveling. The owners are great with communication and we would definitely rent from again!

Great Stay in the Heart of San Antonio!

We had a fantastic week staying at this adorable house in San Antonio. The location is perfect—within walking distance to nightlife and just a 5 to 10 minute drive to just about everything else we wanted to see and do.The house itself was charming and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like earplugs and white noise machines in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals for the occasion that you want to stay in for dinner. We especially enjoyed relaxing outside in the evenings listening to the music from nearby venues—it really added to the vibe!Our host, Rene, was amazing—super responsive, helpful with recommendations, and always quick to answer any questions we had.Overall, it was a great experience, and we'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore San Antonio!

Ideal experience

This was one of the better experiences I’ve had renting a home for a short stay. We were in town for an event happening nearby at Paper Tiger, and this property couldn’t be better located for access to everything that is there on the strip. The house is also beautiful, kept very clean and has a generous amount of space for even a large group. They were also kind enough to give us a 15 minute extension on checkout. Would absolutely stay there again.

Very nice place to stay

The property was exactly as advertised. We loved being able to cook for ourselves. The bathrooms were very nice and more than what we expected. The outdoor space was also very nice. We also enjoyed doing one of their puzzles. The wi-fi and tv were great. Overall, other than road construction noise it was a wonderful place to stay and exceeded our expectations.

The house has been very nicely restored. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The fenced front yard was very nice for our little dog. Just be aware that as described in the on line description, the noise level for sleeping from the music and traffic on the weekends is very loud. We did need to use the earplugs that were provided, but otherwise everything was great! Thank you!

Location was great and the house was clean and very adequate.

We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately the Main Street was under construction which caused some noise. Also, at night on the weekend we could hear bands playing close by, we used the noise reduction provided by the host and it helped to lessen the noise at night. The house was very nice, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The host was great!

Very cute cottage

Super cute cottage. Well stocked. We stayed 10 days. Really liked the house. On weekends it was very loud due to music at clubs very close by and due to motorcycles in the area. This was mentioned in the ad, so I am not complaining, but if you are looking for sleep on the weekend, it can be a challenge (somewhat hit or miss). Cute outdoor area - great for our dogs and near lots of places to eat.

Great Stay

The house is very well appointed, with state of the art appliances and nice artwork. The decor is really beautiful and thoughtfully designed. There are a lot of thoughtful touches, that add to the overall comfort, that most VRBO's don't have. I did not enjoy walking the neighborhood very much, but there are many places to walk that are close by. The host is very friendly and helpful - responds to concerns quickly and effectively. I will stay here again next time I come back.

Birthday weekend

The house and host were amazing. The house had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, everything was stocked and it was close to a lot of things. We didn’t do too much of the nightlife but enjoyed the people watching and walked around. Walked to the Pearl twice. Enjoyed the Lonesome Rose bar, took Ubers to downtown. The location was great for us. It was lively at night but didn’t bother us. Highly recommend Elsewhere bar. The Pearl was nice and the River walk was great. Mexican Market was another great stop. The neighborhood felt safe. Highly recommend this location. The host was great and did a great job with the house.

Lovely temp home during renovations

This darling cottage has everything you'd need and more during a weekend away or longer-term stay. Lovely amenities such as organic lotions, cotton makeup remover pads and Mexican blankets to keep you warm while sitting outside on chilly nights and small kitchen details such as etched glass salad bowls and ceramic tart pans. Fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Beds were comfy and sofa is too. The only drawback is loud music from the dance clubs and bars a half block away, but the owners did provide noise machines and ear plugs to try to mitigate the sound. Most week nights were quieter but going into the weekend the noise is noticeable. Driveway is key too as street parking gets crowded later in the evenings. Overall a terrific rental though!

Ashby House

We had a great time at this property. Homeowners had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Beds and Blankets were super soft. The backyard area is so adorable and a great place to hang out. Owners did a great job decorating and made us feel very welcomed. They are quickly attentive to any request.

Modern-Vintage Sapphire Gem

It is not often that you walk into what is advertised online. This beautifully redone home was perfectly thought out and the little attention to details makes you feel like you are more than just a guest. The proximity to an array of choices from food to entertainment is definitely a plus. We will definitely be returning on our next SA trip! Thank you Wilson’s for sharing this gem!

The location we are in is close to most of the wonderful destinations in San Antonio. It is within walking distance to many areas of interest and tourist attractions and blocks from the highway system connecting it to all other parts of town in minutes!
Tobin Hill is a very vibrant and historic part of town. Residents and businesses here are very proud of the neighborhood and love sharing it with visitors and guests as we do.

We have a home that is almost 100 yrs old in a city that is very old and has deep cultural roots. We love this area because it is a wonderful mix of old and new, traditional and modern. There are generations of families here as well as newly built residences housing newcomers. This area embraces these differences and welcomes all!
